The electric solos on "Third Wind" and "Say the Brother's Name" are pretty tight.

5 years in, I'm still recovering from that solo.
Pedro Aznar delivers a great performance in the vocals! 👏He's considered a musical jewel here in Argentina. He plays bass, guitar, piano and writes songs, you definitely should check out his solo career and his work with the band Serú Girán!

I remember telling my dad when I was young ''Listen to this rock solo, it's the best'' when listening to one rock band. He said ''No son''. He used to listen to Pat. Now I understand. And I can't stop listening to Pat.
These Musicians sound incredible and the Guitarist is having a PARTY 🎊 as he burns through the tune and chord changes Amazing Music!

Hats off. I'm not a fan of this genre but Metheny and the band are extraordinary.
I had the exact same feeling listening to Matteo Mancuso.
I always liked Pat when he played standard jazz, and the trio with Jaco, but not this so much. Lately I love it. Music is weird like that :P
Unreal guitar playing
A fiernd of mine handed me a cassette copy of The road to you when I was 14 in 1997, but I didn´t get it, since I was used to listen to Santana and the Eric Clapton Unplugged a lot and working those things out on guitar. My brain wasn´t ready. A year later, my music teacher, a very cool young guy at the time (he still is today) knew my interest in guitar, and brought the More Travels VHS tot he class, and after watching this same video. My jaw dropped and 24 years later I am still loking for it. I became a fan instantly. I asked my friend to borrow the casset again and I loved it. A couple weeks ago Pat came to Argentina and he took me back to my teenage years. One of the best days of my life. If you live in the northern hemisphere, go see him live whenever you can!

@@williamhunter5549 I didn't hear enough about this environment, I came to see Pedro, I'm from Argentina and Pedro Aznar is one of the best bass players in Argentina, you can listen to the Eiti Leda song by Seru Giran, in that song Pedro was 19 years old and I looks fascinating

Would venture to say that only a handful of well known guitarists could replicate this with accuracy.
*Creating* it is what Pat did and there is one guitarist who can do that. It's a huge difference. There's probably 7 year old Japanese girls who could learn and practice all the notes, but that isn't it.
