Hello Paul - I use Ernie Ball 10-46 with a wound 18 on the third string. Its a custom gauge I made up as the 2nd string is a 12. The Bigsby is bolted onto the body under the spring by the handle and with a fixed bridge this helps a lot with the tuning. Thanks, Darrel

looks like the Rockingham's are history then? as are the 6120's. Very nice dry humour interview from a man whose playing does the talking.

Caught Katmen on Jools the other night..first time I've seen them.
Really loved it and didn't realize there was an Imelda connection, someone I've admired very much.
Wonderful to hear this stuff being kept alive and done with a modern edge..
Great playing and singing..would love to get to see it live..
Are you playing down South in England, anytime soon?
Keep up the good work! :O)

You appear to have a light touch on the fretboard and don't bend strings too much, preferring the fast runs and licks. What guage strings do you use and how does the tuning hold with the BIgsby?

Do you use a little slapback echo now and again for that classic rockabilly sound?

As I thought most of your sound comes from your excellent playing. Thanks for your tip about the Hum Debugger.I own a Delta Blues Amp myself and its very noisy on the drive channel, by what I've read it's better than a noise gate because it doesn't cut your sound off, it's just cuts out the hum etc.
