Hello Sajan Pooviya Saheb, namaskara, heegideera, yen samachara. Your thoughts on payments or helping juniors in terms of payments, mentorship etc are praise worthy but WHEN THE CAT WILL BE BELLED.kindly find out the system of cases bringing to Patna High Court from district Courts of Bihar will give you one more point in your armoury and it is ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL EQUALITY PROSPERITY OF ENTIRE SOCIETY IS EXTREMLY VITAL OTHERWISE LAW WILL BE IN HANDS OF FEW GOOD(?) MEN(?). Without creating wealth for society ,advocates can't prosper.
We all are necessarily told that the profession of lawyer and doctor are noble one but at the same time still it is expected that if you do not have backbone I. E. no real dependency on it for better livelihood, you are opting for a next to impossible... The hardship can only sustain which has certain limitation which is perhaps very alien to such practice in India.. System has no such reform ever developed to rule out such myth..
This is the sad reality of our profession especially in litigation , thats why more than 50% of law degree holders dont even practise , and out of the ones who practise 70-80% give up after 1-2 years , out of my batch of 260 people only at max 25-30 are practising.
Haha ...No they are not, when people dont treat their interns properly and treat them like automatons. Seniors have a tendency to confuse struggle and suffering. You prevent the intern and juniors growth by not paying him least pay him for his rent and transportation even if he is in learning stage. If not, juniours and intern should protest and stop working and after that watch as cases go pending.
Junior advocates in India deserve fair compensation and structured mentorship, as both are essential for their well-being and the profession's future.
Juniors want a Imperial Blue quarter & 250 gram mutton( paneer if he is veggie) . Basssssss
