That was a good remark about Jack Mason's lone star logo giving off the unintended vibe of some other place. If it's Texan pride they're going after, then their design should be fully committed to the idea, unmistakable and beautiful. Their design team can't mouse around an idea and expect other people to take it seriously.

Thanks for filming the Model 3. I believe yours is the first video out there. The Anordain waitlist, which is 5 years long, is for any of the enamel watches they make. People already on the waitlist can purchase any of their watches. So someone who has a 2024 build slot can get a Model 3 this year. 😉
Crazy lol we have a lot of the same taste in watches. Got a chance to see a lot of the same stuff at windup nyc last year. Did you feel like the bezel on the formex reef was too easy to remove? I like the idea of being able to easily change the bezel but im weary that in the real world it would fall off if knock up against something. Also, that CW c65 is super underrated. As always, thanks for the vid! 🍻
We got good taste 🙌🙌😭 I thought the bezel was fine on the reef actually… but I do get what you’re saying. For a tool watch we shouldn’t have to think about that.
@@thereddrob I just put the order in, held off on the limited edition Method box, went with the ochre strap, although the green shell cordovan looked nice I might get that when I trip out to Scotland in '26. For the case back I went with map engraving of Pender Harbour and Halfmoon Bay BC where I grew up.
They told you 2029? I see ordering one you have to create a waiting slot and that alone is $359 non refundable. They zero way I'm waiting 5 years for a watch
I think Formex is blech. I bought the Worn x Wound Essence and it just felt like a very sterile watch. No emotion, personality, or anything exciting in spite of a very bright dial and bright polished finishing. The bracelet was terrible. The price feels criminal for what you're getting.
Yea… the price point is tough to justify for me. My position on Formex has softened a bit, and I’ll always take a look at their new offerings, but still a tough sell for me.
