True I have a folder with a lot of CAS cc from my favorite creators.
I just don’t like redownloading them for every update so I just don’t use them
@@kathryngreene7500 you don’t usually need to redownload regular cc, it’s just mods that need to be updated after patches.

Also one of the cabinets has a different color top (it’s white, the rest are black) and the fact that she left it like that made me cry

We aren't used to having more than 5 to 10 color choices!. 😂 It confuses/overwhelms us!
For any additional packs that the sims teams revisits, adding in additional matching swatches and also the upper cabinets in packs they didn’t make them. That would be small great ideas.

@@sinead545 i could be wrong but i think the game doesnt grant/not grant mod use. its about being able to dl the mods to your machine, and access the files to put them in. i feel like the new gen consoles could have found a way to allow modding. i ended up getting a comp bc i wanted to mod games (not just sims) but it sucked the years i was just on console because people would always say "this game isnt for you/you dont belong in these discussions." Console players are valid and deserve the same experiences and respect as pc gamers. (ps. i love the name sinead!)
@@bbear2695 thanks 😊..yeah i have an xbox one there is no way (that i no) to access the game to add or insert mods or anything..pc players have an easier time with sims i feel like console players are always left on the back burner..simple things like roofing a house on a console can be a nightmare 😆...i agree with you about the new next gen consoles to..
i want to thank you kayla for being such an escape for me the last few months. my sister is causing a lot of issues, stuff that almost ruined my family and nearly got my dad charged with false federal charges and put in prison.
on top of all that, today my mom found a lump on her chest, and the doctors were hella panicked about getting her to come in. they think it could be cancerous. it's really common in my mom's side of the family, me and her being the first females on my mom's side not to get some sort of female cancer or get a hysterectomy. my mom is 47, so she's right in the worry zone apparently.
but i've become numb to all of it, not really feeling much of anything anymore. my anxiety, which according to doctors is cripplingly extreme, has gone quiet. i don't feel anything.
but your videos, along with hermitcraft, distracted me a lot and i'm afraid i wouldn't be here right now without them. your channel is so anxiety friendly and exclusive, and so is your stream. makes it really easy to just breathe.
so thank you. you've made me feel less ostrichized because of my anxiety, because content creators are always so extroverted and see someone with over a million subscribers and yet so much anxiety and be so open with it? you've helped so much and you don't even know. thank you.
i wish you good luck with your new home and that everything with it turns out brilliantly. i wish you and dan a happy marriage for many years to come, and that your anxiety lets you breathe every once in awhile.

Kayla please download the Mod Manager by GameTimeDev so you can easily load (ie. Have CC appear in your game) and unload (ie. CC won't show up, but will stay in your MODS folder) your CC into the game whenever! We would love to see you do a CC build.
Wow, modders really have to have strong backs so they keep holding the entire game on them…

You have to fill the slots on top of the fridge, I have another CC pack that has them (I didn’t know) until my Sims kept putting dirty dishes there 🤦🏻♀️ took me forever to find the source of the smelly 😅
I love this pack! I always make my houses super bright. Paranormal, Movie Night, and Knitting have had my favorite stuff because of the bright swatches.
Kayla seems to make a lot of comments about how we don't care about her personal opinions on design, like for her house, and that we only care about the sims. I wish she knew how much we all care about her and her opinions too!

One of my favorite lamps is the flowerpot by &tradition!! I have it in yellow and I am sooo obsessed even the cable is the same color of the lamp
1:48 funny enough, i suck at installing mods in any other game (don't know how, just am, can't even mod minecraft pls) but learned how to install CC and mods for the sims through watching Kayla do it 😂
Ability to put things ON TOP of the fridge is GREAT ! No longer need to raise something to the correct height. Should also work in live mode. You can put it directly up there. Now, we need the same option to put things on wall cabinet when using medium and high walls.

It's an amazing pack, especially being able to put things on top of the fridge, all it needs is the toaster to cook you a plate of toast, but only if you have bread on a simple living lot, and normal on other lots.
I like some of Sixam CC, but the last time I checked, some of the content was locked being a paywall. So hopefully that’s changed.
Nice to see this is available for everyone!! Sixam has had several packs on early access for months, (it’s against EA’s TOU) and doesn’t answer people asking for a public release date. I think this is very unfair ;(

I haven’t bought any kits nor do I plan to, but I definitely think they would be a good way to bring more clutter items to the game, and we also need more floor and wallpapers so a kit of those I’d honestly be happy with
what i really really want ins the sims 4 is like 'Sims 4 Sport' like u can send your sims to any sport and play beachvolleyball at the beach. and your kids can be in a club. and there are fotball fields like basketball... or like ice hockey. and u can heer up your fav. team at big tournaments. that would be my dream. im already think to programm it myself
i remember a few of the build cc heavy hitters and keep an eye on their new stuff regularly, but i somehow always forget to check sixam cc. im always pleasantly surprised when a vid comes out

As someone who only has the basegame (got it for free a long time ago) and doesn't want to spend tons of money on DLC, CC packs are my favourite thing!
Crazy how we still need modders to create the most simple things Sims didn’t give us, like come on now TOASTERS 😭 that should be a given that’s an essential kitchen item
Just a warning to anyone looking into Sixamcc, they tend to keep things behind paywalls for FOREVER. For example, the laundry room cc pack has been behind a paywall since December 1st.
Not just that, but they get moved to the second tier on their Patreon, which is more expensive. If you don't pay for early access, it becomes more expensive later.

Like the double sink, the oven/microwave in the cupboards is so normal and common for a lot of people like why don’t we have stuff like that.

My parents have a speckled stone counter in the kitchen and they HATE it. It looks pretty, but we lose stuff in plain sight all the time, plus it’s hard to see smaller messes, which means sometimes a mess stays for much longer than is socially acceptable. But they also get a lot of compliments b/c it’s pretty, but it’s not totally functional for us because of the mess problem.
You could get a clear acrylic or silicon mat that you can take off to clean, it would be easier to see if you can remove that bit maybe?

Trust me Kayla... You REALLY don't want a "speckled Quartz" counter top. they stain easily and are NOT heat resistant at all. it's 100% worth investing in real stone, not something like the one you pictured. trust me, I had one that was black and within a couple of months of use you could still see stains everywhere.
I would like to see a CC build. I think it would be nice to see sims builder actually build with pieces they love that arent in game.

Hello! I just wanted to pop in and say Necrodog has a functional toaster since April 2020 and Its one Ive been using for a long time
That might sound weird, but for the counter and sink issue... I just use the counter end on each side so it's not a full counter. Looks cuter most of the time.
Someone has actually created working toasters in the game I’ve just downloaded it so imma see if it works ❤️

CC pack looks Great! I love that you spotlight other creators work! I would love to see EA (or CCers) make more retro style furniture. Grandma’s house should look like it’s from a different era, for example.
