I wish EA would made some kind of contest that CC creator could participate creating a custom content pack with a X number of itens and then we could vote for the best one and then they would add it to the base game! I mean, it would be amazing... :^
That’d be great for two reasons. There’d be high quality base game items and the sim’s team would be able to see what items we want based on the votes, like how they can see more of what we’re interested in with the pack votes.

This idea would be a more heavy emphasis on the community's creativity and what the people actually playing the game want, instead of what focus groups and limited polls tell them we want, and it would transform some of a CC creator's largely unpaid work into paid work. Assuming the multi-million dollar company that is EA can afford to pay a Sims CC creator to add their fan-made pack to the base game /s

I disagree :(( I specifically watch kayla's builds the most because she DOESN'T use any CC. When I see a builder like Deli who uses alot of CC in their regular every day builds, I just tend to turn it off.

This is possibly the best cc kit I’ve ever seen. LOVE the Pottery Barn vibes. After downloading Max20’s kitchen set (another of my favorites), I’d been considering supporting him with a monthly subscription on Patreon. His stuff is excellent - Maxis quality and better - and I’m REALLY looking forward to his upcoming outdoor furniture pack as well. So I told myself I’d wait until this content went free and then subscribe. And then I waited… and waited… The discrepancy between how Sims RUclipsrs treat the arrival of new CC and new official kits has been bugging me a bit these past two weeks. It leaves a not-great taste in my mouth when content creators go well over the ‘two weeks of paid subscription downloads’-model without any mention of if or when content will be free. I get that life gets in the way, and cc creators are artists making these incredible things with no assurance they’ll be paid for their hard work. But at the same time, it kind of negates the argument that $5 is a lot for a kit when you pay a CC creator $5 a month and get-what-you-get rather than having a choice of whether to buy it or not. (I’ve also been waiting for this set to be released to the public before having one of my Sims get married to her boyfriend - who has two kids who will be coming to live with them - which probably explains why I’m unnecessarily salty about this.) 😅
I thought I was the only one having an issue finding a way to download this! It would be my very first mod/cc download ever, I loved seeing this stuff so much. It’s super disappointing that I’ll have to wait indefinitely to get it. I’ll probably forget about it honestly. :/

Yeah, Max is actually known for making his content hard to track down and for going over the limits set by the sims team before. I think he also offers patreon exclusive items, which is against Maxis's policy. They told CC creators that ALL items must be available to the public after a few weeks. Just for that, I wish Simsie would stop showcasing his content again and again -- at least not without being real about Max skirting/breaking the rules. I love Kayla and I give her the benefit of the doubt (maybe she really doesn't know Max that well and isn't aware) but Max has been getting away with this for a long time.
I really hope the sims adds more cc stuff into the main game. Even releasing some of the really maxis matched cc packs to buy and paying the creators, right at the end of the sims 4 so they're properly in the game.

This one slightly reminds me of a lot of animal crossing items. Like the new “dreamy” stuffed animals. The tent from Christmas time. I love it!! I wonder if they were possibly inspired by animal crossing.

I love how Kayla always says how the CC is completely different from EA's crazy bright pink and yellow things that never match, and then says she'd believe it if someone told her EA made the CC 😁😁 I know she probably means it matches well but like, a lot of EA stuff is horrible compared to maxis match CC
I wish the curtains didn't have the larger finials- the EA ones are like that too, when they're like that it makes it impossible to put the curtain in the corner without the finial clipping through into the next room.

I think I know how they could do curtains ya know in the counters they have the little icons where you can have like a end peace and a courier you could do the same with Curt ens it would be so cool
I would love if you did a no rules build once a week or a month. Not trying to make it be easily available for people to download on the gallery. Just a fun build whatever you want using any packs or cc that you want. I feel like you get so scared that people won't like your builds if you don't make it directly for other people and you don't realize that we love YOU and want to watch you be happy playing our favorite game.
