Thank you! Been doing reverse fly earlier but I feel like it did not really hit muscles. After testing this I finally could feel those back muscles working adn burning!
tom can you do a video about subscapularis training? i think it is the most important rotator cuff muscle....i listen too much about external rotation...but the subscapularis plays a crucial role to shoulder health
Would be a good one to cover yeah!! If you check out our serratus anterior video though you’ll see my thoughts on the individual muscle approach too! I think it’s important to learn things broken up yeah but overall movement programming is so important to basically “accidentally on purpose” keep everything happy!
Wow you have perfect form😮 iI have pain right shoulder pain arthritis in a/c joint teres minor wastage also arthritis in the thoracic spine same side all neck buldging disk forward shoulder and head the list goes on would these work for me is all I want to know? Nothing has worked so far years of trying something new or it does feel better for the first 2 times then back to feeling the same or worse😢
No I haven't. I am a courier driver in a busy built up city so my neck gets a lot of movement daily. Don't really have any pain. Sometimes I do feel weak I the arm and grip strength. I mentioned teres minor wastage, arthritis in the shoulder and thoracic spine
@@TomMorrison I have now and it makes sense to move the neck after sleeping. I will try them but as far as the other issues I have a medical expert mentioned in my report I should do shoulder gliding exercises but not exactly specific to which ones
Great video Tom, very helpful explanation. What sort of resistance bands would be optimal for this? I have been doing facepulls at home with 5kg dumbells from a bent over position and find it puts strain on my back, looking to get some resistance bands to do them standing but not sure what I should be looking for!
You can get sets with yellow, red, green, purple and black that are quite good for lots of different exercises, for most of this stuff a light theraband is enough as it’s just a muscle activation exercise to support proper training so not something you need to spend a tonne of time or effort with 😄
🤦♂️ no it isn’t there are multiple grips and positions you can use for many exercises, and if your shoulders are scared of external rotation and shoulder retraction you have problems
Better than Jeff Cavalier’s face pull demo!
Dude her form is pristine. Thanks
Excellent tutorial thanks so much! I'll try the rotation

HEYYY! ITS WORKING AND MUCH EASIER FOR ME. 😊💪
Awesome!!

Have you ever been shown the stuff in this blog?

Very good explanation on these, thank you! Btw: what brand/type of resistance band is the one in the video?
That’s just a cheap theraband, can get them off amazon easy enough 😄
Thanks dude!
Can i do this sitting on my heels??? My only anchor is a banister that is about 3 feet high. I don't know how else. I can't risk ruining my doors.
Yes that’s ok!

@@TomMorrison thank you for the advice!!
Can i do this kneeling lol I've nowhere to attach the band other than staircase which is too low when standing.
Yep! Totally fine!!!
I thought I saw a video where you pull it over your head. I hate banging it in my forehead. Lol. Can I pull over my head?
Is it safe to do facepulls with resistance band?
Sure! Just make sure the band isn’t fraying so there’s no chance to snap 😄
@@TomMorrison i thought ur not supposed to wrap bands around hard objects and instead tie it
Incorrect grip. My shoulders hurt just watching this.
