    I was already impressed with what this camera could do, now I'm doubly impressed! Solid tips in this video!

    Test some lenses for R10 like 16mm F2.8 VS Kit lens VLOG. Budget photography with RF-S 55-210mm. Or real-world low light test or noise test using a kit lens considering the different times of the day and evening and light availability, "usefulness of kit lens in natural light photography".

      Definitely been looking at testing some lens with the R10 so it’s good to hear that people would appreciate seeing that

      @@ChristianPitcher sure. There are no people doing this with R10. All are busy with R8, R7 or EV1 etc. Canon forget some people like me based on Bangladesh are waiting for best camera under 900usd.

    Thanks for the video. The R10 will probably be my first mirrorless camera I'll upgrade in future. Now got the 2000D. The IBIS would of course be a nice addition, but can't require so much with my budget.

      get an image stabilised lens and use a light digital stabilisation and the r10 does brilliantly. its a great camera for the price point i still love using it

    Thanks for the video, I think Santa is bringing me one on Christmas day and I can't wait. Up to now I've been a optical viewfinder Canon user (since my first Canon AE1, then EOS film, then digital) but finally making the change now.

      Honestly this is so weird, I was literally just looking at AE-1’s and FD1s to add to the collection and then checked the comments and here you are mentioning them! It’s a great camera and I’m sure you will love it. I’d be happy if I got one of Christmas Day ✌🏼

      @@ChristianPitcher Thanks for the quick reply. Yes counting down the days to the 25th. It's tradition that I get a new camera on Christmas Day as it's somehow more special to open the box then, starting in 1978 with a Cosina CSM. (what I hear you ask?), that wasn't my first 'real' camera, that was a Zenith B in mid 1976. An AE1 in 1979, a T70 in 1985, EOS 650 in 1988, a Canon 100 in 1993, then went digital in 2010 with a 500D, a 760D in 2015. I've still got the last two, Actually I've got an AE1 and T70 but I got those second hand only in the last two years.

    Could you do a comparison between Canon EOS R and R10 for when taking pictures when the light is not to good and the objects are moving? I have tried an EOS R with 70-200/2,8 and many of the pictures I took on a dance competition in an arena where great but since you can record video for a longer time on an R10 and it is cheaper or at least newer I am interested in that camera too.
    Great videos by the way! 👍👍

      Thanks for watch, I’m actually planning a comparison video that will be live pretty soon; so that is a good idea that I can look at adding. Thanks for the feedback and support. Stay lucky ✌🏼

    Why you've talked a lot about dark side of R10 😀 What about positive sides?

    Hi.
    Great videos!
    In your opinion would this camera be a good upgrade from a canon 200d for a hobbyist photographer.

    • @ChristianPitcher
      @ChristianPitcher  11 месяцев назад

      Thank you I appreciate it.
      the biggest differences are. The r10 has the Digic X which is much newer and faster. There is a lot more focusing points for AF, it will also focus better in lower light situations, has the newer Dual pixel AF 2 so will track more subjects. Faster continuous shooting speed with 23fps bursts. So you will do some good improvements.
      It does also depend on exact user case of your style. I personally would pick the R10.
      The Canon R10 is a great hybrid. And some of the the other improvements over the 200d sit in the video elements.

      @@ChristianPitcher thanks you for the reply mate.
      I can’t really narrow down what I like to do with the camera. It’s mostly just picking up and heading out the door a wander with.
      A wee bit wildlife a wee bit landscape a wee bit macro and grabbing pics of the family.
      It gets played with more on holidays when I have the time.
      I’m thinking the auto focus alone would make it worth it as I constantly get frustrated with missing focus. 🤣

    • @ChristianPitcher
      @ChristianPitcher  5 месяцев назад

      no there is a limited number of flashes that work with canon mirrorless cameras atm, not even all canon flashes work.

    I am getting the Canon R10 very soon. But I don't see an adaptor that will allow me to use my Laowa 9mm f/2.8 EF-M lens. Is there an adaptor available for this?
    This is a manual focus lens.
    RF to EF-M adaptor

    • @ChristianPitcher
      @ChristianPitcher  11 месяцев назад +1

      There isn’t an adaptor that I’m aware of that will work. Canon actually answered this question a while back, and said in theory it’s possible, but with the amount of difference between the mounts and tolerances, it’s not really a feasible project. which is there way of saying it will probably never happen.
