Leaf story of getting her Shiny Aigeslash (1/?):
Leaf: So I heard about how in the Kanto Region a floating sword was chasing around people in viridian forest so, I went to go check it out, thinking it was a Haunter or something. While exploring the forest I found the sword and used the Silph Scope on it. There was no ghost, so a threw a Pokéball at it and to my surprise the floating sword was a pokémon not in the Kantonian Pokedex so I went to Proffesor Oaks lab to see if it was a new Pokemon or something.

The character from Let's Go is actually a mix between the unused female protagonist from Gen I (who inspired the character of Green in the manga) and Leaf, who is also based on that unused protagonist. So, in a way, they were always the same person.

The female character is always considered nothing but an anime travelling companion who can be easily replaced in the next season. Red is considered a legend, Leaf is forgotten (outside of the shipping universe). Ethan/Gold is considered to have strength and power to rival Red's, Lyra is considered a pretty, happy-go-lucky girl and Kris is basically completely ignored. People always put the male character first. Girls play Pokemon too. This needs to change.
