I miss the days of Red being shipped with Misty & Erika those gym leaders really loved him back during Gens 1&2. As for the perfect ship it would have to be Ruby x Sapphire, although Wallace x Winona was really good too. You have to wonder why Pokemon Dating Sims aren't more common with how great the characters often are.

i love how in the SEA english translation, they felt the need to change sapphire’s “i love you” to “i like you” while leaving out how the other characters literally dying during the battle w the legendary pokemon completely uncensored
My guess is that translators or editors felt icky about 12 years old confessing their love. Winona and Wallace are canonically in a relationship bordering on being married in the manga, and that never got censored. Which is really good because these two have such a realistic-feeling "difficult relationship". They clearly love each other, but both have big issues that keep driving them apart, Wallace with his fear of commitment, and Winona with her haughty attitude.

The Agency Ship is Probably my favorite as well. Growing up I had only the first 8 Volumes and didnt know where to get the rest and I was upset where it left off, but im glad I found this channel and am able to relive some memories of me reading these at school and during school trips. Truly glad. And I plan on reading all of the pokemon adventures manga soon

Ruby and Sapphire love story is fantastic in Pokemon adventures. It make me really like generation 3 of pokemon games. Ps. In the remakes gen 3 omega ruby/alpha sapphire remakes the game devs did even touched on this subject somewhat in the game main storyline.

Red has had a positive effect on Blue's life, but those effects are more subtle. Examples include Blue finally opening up to giving her Pokémon nicknames. Or hinting that their Espeon and Ditto had babies that became Gen 4 Eeveelutions.

In the manga I feel like Agencyshipping is my favourite ship, though Special is my close second...though that could be down to Yellow being my favourite character and her arc being my favourite arc as well. Game wise I think I ship Hilda & N but the Black/White game gives me a feeling that there is some kind of relationship being unofficially formed between N & the player character, to a point that said player character straight up disappears after the game when N leaves at the end of said game, almost as if (at least in my head) trying to find him.

Ik special is a lot more popular, but lucky feels right the 2 have been through and have drastic effect each others lives to the point as people they're on equal footing where as with red and yellow its feels more like red is like a protective older brother/friend. The Hoenn Duo is pretty much 100% Canon. Because even the games have Shipping moments. Ruby Sapphire was the first games when GF decided on the excellent idea to use the counterpart plaayer character as the rival. Throughout the story (Ill consider Brendan/Sapphire as the player) . Mom immediately says there's a girl your age and forces you to meet her . Berch (May's Dad in this version) absolutely wants you to meet his daughter. . Berch even later asks you about how she's doing cause he thought you guys were together. . May comes to congratulate you on your league victory inspite of not being the Champion herself. Thats only unique to Hoenn. . As for ORAS, the entire Delta episode is a big-ass Date.

I remember missing some issues when reading the manga. Like in my heart I knew Yellow was a girl. And when I finally got the issues that showed the earlier volumes, I was stoked to see my hunch was right.
I assume there are multiple transitions of the manga as I was told that Sapphire directly said I love you in English. I read that volume in Japanese and she saidあんたのことが好きったい which the ったい part is Hakata dialect and it’s quite casual but it’s directly “I like about you” 好き is also used towards people we love though and it can be translated both as like and love. With the dialects rural tone and casualness it could be translated as "I really like ya, y'know!" Or "I love ya, I do!" Did she say I love you? Well, no, because she speaks Japanese. Topkek

Falkner x Janine (They have similar aesthetics, have a moment during the gym leader tourney, have similar stories with their fathers, and they meet up every week in Celadon canonically in the games.) Bill x Daisy Oak (They've worked together a lot and seem pretty close in the manga.) I don't necessarily ship other stuff if only because they are one-sided, someone is interested in too many people, or I just haven't read those parts yet. (I stopped pretty early in B&W since there was practically an entire page that was missing text and I couldn't find any other translations for that page.)
Moon is a pharmacist who is getting troubled by the money maker Sun who collect million of yen to buy an island their relationship kinda similar to Black & White in that regard, and despite having no matching Pokémon, they share Rotom Dex togethet
@@iamnekosama there is absolutely a romantic undertone to Gen 7 between Sun and Moon. The undertone is one of “I would go to any length for you” from Moon to Sun. Admittedly it’s a little bit one-sided, but Sun does care a lot about Moon too, he just doesn’t recognize the feelings of romance for what they are yet because he is not as emotionally mature as Moon is.

*Spoilers below: do not read if you're not up to the gold and silver arc I haven't read much of the Pokémon manga yet and I read just the red blue and green online so far but I do hear that Red's and Yellow's Pikachus end up together and have and baby, so imo I feel like that more or less means Red and Yellow are for the most part, cemented in their relationship. Plus unless people are already taken irl, people's pets forming a deep relationship with one another deepens the bonds between the owner. It doesn't necessarily guarantee a relationship but it does help solidify one.
I like that belief that Red and Yellow's Pikachus are a foreshadowing to Red and Yellow's relationship. It likely will happen if they appear again in the manga or if they are mentioned, but even so this effect does not work all the time. Pokemon's emotions aren't always connected to their trainers', so Pika and ChuChu could be a separate ship. I don't ship Red and Yellow cuz they're not my cup of tea (I see them as Red viewing Yellow as a younger sibling/apprentice), but the evidence is right there (even if it's mostly one-sided on Yellow's part).

Being more involved in fandoms these days has kinda made me like an angry, bitter old man who hates everthing about shipping. But i gotta admit, i actually really like Agency shipping! I love both characters and they have such great chemistry togheter. That and the fact that they are the only ship that could actually happen in canon. Dang, now id really love to see them reappear.
LuckyShipping will be my end game every single time. Closely followed by Ruby x Sapphire.

In the manga I feel like Agencyshipping is my favourite ship, though Special is my close second...though that could be down to Yellow being my favourite character and her arc being my favourite arc as well.
Game wise I think I ship Hilda & N but the Black/White game gives me a feeling that there is some kind of relationship being unofficially formed between N & the player character, to a point that said player character straight up disappears after the game when N leaves at the end of said game, almost as if (at least in my head) trying to find him.

Original shipping never gets old. Its a battle of who can be more chaotic good than the other with red winning because he has zero fear of death. I could honestly go on and on about how fun their dynamic is from not just the manga but things like masters as well

Definitely a luckyshipper and agency shipper. I happy lucky got an honorable mention. Ik special is a lot more popular, but lucky feels right the 2 have been through and have drastic effect each others lives to the point as people they're on equal footing where as with red and yellow its feels more like red is like a protective older brother/friend. No hate to special at all just my opinion. Hell, i actually like special just not as much as lucky, u can thank fanart and fan works for that cause visually redxyellow is freaking adorable. Just want to say somethings about the characters relationship Honestly even if I like the manga but I do feel like it’s to safe like with the Celebi rest after the battle was almost won and since Gamefreak already know they were making Emerald and remakes I think it would’ve been interesting to see the relationship between them with the close one lost to them and with the space scene with crushing the meteor I think it would’ve been interesting to see one actually die and see the trauma the other goes through with there lost friend and one more with Black and White honestly I did have a idea of how to write the two in my own version just because Unova is my favourite region and I’ll stick to there own names since I did think Hilbert could be determined he doesn’t want to bring people down and support his two closed friends Bianca and Cheren with Hilda I can imagine her having more edge since her close looks like there torn of start with it fixed and then it keeps coming of and Hilbert gives her the hat when they get into a love relationship I just have a good idea where to start with her because of a resent new hero of mine who is Vi and I thought the team since it’s four have a deerlin for all seasons because the journey takes almost a hole year like if it was last of us but equally spread out

@@OrMai5 special is shallow and doesn't lead anywhere with no foundation for the relationship to make any impact. Old is extremely shallow, and makes no sense since day one. It doesn't help that ViZ translated the language incorrectly in one of the panels making it seem like it's going somewhere, but it doesn't. That one is the worse offender.
The Hoenn Duo is pretty much 100% Canon. Because even the games have Shipping moments.
Ruby Sapphire was the first games when GF decided on the excellent idea to use the counterpart plaayer character as the rival.

. As for ORAS, the entire Delta episode is a big-ass Date.
Not only did they make my favorite Pokemon game ruby and sapphire, but they made comics about the games and one of my top five ships that I still want more of👍

I don't like any ship in the manga except Black and White. It feels good to see a relationship between a boy and girl that isn't romantic.

I remember missing some issues when reading the manga. Like in my heart I knew Yellow was a girl. And when I finally got the issues that showed the earlier volumes, I was stoked to see my hunch was right.

I assume there are multiple transitions of the manga as I was told that Sapphire directly said I love you in English. I read that volume in Japanese and she saidあんたのことが好きったい which the ったい part is Hakata dialect and it’s quite casual but it’s directly “I like about you”
好き is also used towards people we love though and it can be translated both as like and love.
With the dialects rural tone and casualness it could be translated as
"I really like ya, y'know!"
Or
"I love ya, I do!"

Bill x Daisy Oak (They've worked together a lot and seem pretty close in the manga.)
I don't necessarily ship other stuff if only because they are one-sided, someone is interested in too many people, or I just haven't read those parts yet. (I stopped pretty early in B&W since there was practically an entire page that was missing text and I couldn't find any other translations for that page.)

@@iamnekosama there is absolutely a romantic undertone to Gen 7 between Sun and Moon. The undertone is one of “I would go to any length for you” from Moon to Sun. Admittedly it’s a little bit one-sided, but Sun does care a lot about Moon too, he just doesn’t recognize the feelings of romance for what they are yet because he is not as emotionally mature as Moon is.

I haven't read much of the Pokémon manga yet and I read just the red blue and green online so far but I do hear that Red's and Yellow's Pikachus end up together and have and baby, so imo I feel like that more or less means Red and Yellow are for the most part, cemented in their relationship. Plus unless people are already taken irl, people's pets forming a deep relationship with one another deepens the bonds between the owner. It doesn't necessarily guarantee a relationship but it does help solidify one.
I like that belief that Red and Yellow's Pikachus are a foreshadowing to Red and Yellow's relationship. It likely will happen if they appear again in the manga or if they are mentioned, but even so this effect does not work all the time. Pokemon's emotions aren't always connected to their trainers', so Pika and ChuChu could be a separate ship. I don't ship Red and Yellow cuz they're not my cup of tea (I see them as Red viewing Yellow as a younger sibling/apprentice), but the evidence is right there (even if it's mostly one-sided on Yellow's part).
