    Thank you for the replying to me about the purple shampoo, my "grey/white/yellowy" is now a BEAUTIFUL silvery colour. Another question, I have thin n fine hair that use to be a lot more curlier, as I got older it is just an ugly wave that is kind of all over the place. I wear my hair straight and normally in a pony. I have been researching about DIY keratin treatments, what are your thoughts on that since there are so many mixed reviews?

      @@Mrsjam96 I have been looking more into this and I find it seems to be more so on African American hair. So not to sure if it is more for the straighten thing? However I came across Aunt Jackies Curl La La and OMG I thought my curls were dead from all the stuff I have done to my hair well let me tell you it looks like I got a perm!! My curls are full and defined again I couldn't believe it!! I have also tried the Aphogee Serious Hair Care Two step Protein Treatment!

    I've been doing my own hair for so long, but I've literally had a light bulb appear over my head from this video! I knew my hair always turns out darker than the color I choose, but this video gave me the reason why! I have super fine hair! I have a lot of it, but it's fine.
    Also, I kind of wish you would have kept using "penetrating" you then could have referred to the diameter of the follicle as "girth." 😂😂😂

    Thank you for describing stuff I would usually never understand! Can you go over some anatomy & kinesiology next? That would really help me out thx 😜

    Ive never cut anything other than my bangs and most of the time not successfully. But i need my hair cut so badly, n no one to cut it. So im hoping and praying that you would do a tutorial of a wolf cut? It looks like what i want. I do not want yo lose a lot of length but i have curly hair when its ling it just pulls the curl right out even with scrunching + mousse or gel so i know i need it layered kinda medium layers? I have to have it frame my face to soften my facial features n so I don't look so old! I just turned 58 and led s rough life n it shows! Ladies i didnt learn about skincare until I was maybe 52 up til then i cleaned my face n took my makeup off with rubbing alcohol. Oh Lord up close you can see what that did so SKINCARE SKINCARE SKINCARE! PS thank you gorgeous lady Btitt what you are doing by teaching us self care n making us laugh! 😂❤❤❤❤❤

    I must have lots of pot holes lol. As I get older I’m not going grey. I’m going see through tinsel color.

    SO the medula doesn't add to hair strength. I thought having a medula would make hair more resistant to the use of stronger developers and bleach. But I guess it's just the diameter that does that, or the wider dispersal of melanin molecules. My fine hair lifts and dyes quickly. I have to be careful, and I'm steering clear of 30 vol or bleach. Hair dressers can do it, but not me at home.

    Very interesting Britnee. I’m going to go back and watch the previous videos here since today’s was so interesting. I’ve mentioned on your other channel that I have natural gorgeous grey streaked hair. It has ALWAYS been frizzy except for the period of time when I was taking HRT meds. Is that something you could explain? I have fine hair at this stage of life which used to be more coarse and ringlet curly. Now it’s mostly just frizzy and wavy. I’m going to try to coax the curls back in it using my fingers to form curls. It’s long. Almost half way down my back. Some layers might help but like I said it’s thin and I’m afraid the layers will make me look like a skint cat. (You know “skint” is a phonetic southern term for skinned.😉) Your thoughts will be appreciated if you have time. Thank you and I enjoy both of your channels.

    Hey Britnee! I quit coloring my hair, so I am about 40% grey now. I have wavy hair and if I try to let it dry naturally, I have a lot of frizz. I have crispy hair with gel. Do you have a curl cream you would recommend that woud just give me a little control without the crisp?

    Can you do a video on immature greying, can we reverse it or not and what are the myths out there ?

    • @brittneealexushair
      @brittneealexushair  6 месяцев назад +1

      That is a tough one; it has mixed reviews. Many homeopathic practitioners say you can by putting grape seed oil and other oils on the hair daily. I am honestly not sure. I am starting to get grey hair myself, and I have noticed the less stressed I am, the less are present. I don't know if they disappear or blend better due to lifestyle changes. I am sorry, I wish I had a direct answer. I do go to the gym with a 70-year-old man who uses the oil and has salt and pepper hair, I'd say, 40% grey. He eats a clean high-protein diet and only drinks water. Could be the oil, could be great genetics.
