Most playthroughs are done on Bright or Genius. Glad to see you are challenging yourself with Godlike! Do you know what bonuses the AI receives on Godlike? I very much enjoyed your last playthrough and I hope you complete this one. 🙂
Godlike AI gets 300% to research, 500% to income, 200% to Manufacturing. Their ships get 25%+1 moves, 50% to all weapons, 100% armor (not shields), 100% Hp. Compared to Incredible (the next difficulty down) research 50%, income 100% , manufacturing 50%. Ships 30% to weapons, 50% to armor and shields, 25%+1 moves and 50%hp I may have missed some bonuses.
Honestly, the only reason I don't play on Godlike or even the next one down is because of the insane level of movement that the AI gets. There's basically no way to defend your planets against the AI in my experience, because they can run your fleets in circles and you can't take their planets either, because they can get across their entire empire in one turn and it takes you a lot more >.
@@Max_Griswald If the AI has much better movement and sensor range then their transports can travel without escorts because they could bypass your slow combat ships. Also as you said they can quickly mobilize combat forces to address invasions. I think the devs should look and reducing those movement bonuses for the AI. Plus I think we need a difficulty level between Incredible and Godlike.
they have already nerfed ai movement a lot for godlike ai. I think its manageable, though it does restrict you to more defensive tactics for a long part of the game. Spotting enemy ships, counting their movement range to anticipate where they will end up and planning your attacks accordingly is key.
Why would you do your initial ministers like that? You have a 15 green and a 15 purple, and you put the 15 purple on green, which it is okay (11) at, but then you get some 4 purple to put in the exploration role....You could have 30 total points between exploration and colonization, but you decided to literally HALVE that number and go 4 exploration and 11 colonization instead of 15 and 15.
Nice video to have at the end of a long day lad, looking forward to seeing if Altaria thrives.
Genuinely excited to see how this plays out :)
Good luck )
its needed lol

while watching i was screaming at my screen for you to swap ministers at the start
I usually play on incredible. Curious to see what godlike holds.
incredible is a good challenge, Godlike can feel very unfair xD
You should do different playlists for each run, easier to watch that way.

good catch, rewatching you are absolutely right and was a small misplay on my part.
