Imperator always has something for the player to do even during peace time etc. I am.excited for what else is coming with the summer update for Invictus and TI.
I’m just about finished my own Mithradatic run, Mithraic as a religion is so OP. You get Darius II as your economic deity, each time you call down an omen you get 750 gold. Absolutely fucking broken, a lot of fun tho.
To adopt people who aren’t your culture you have to do the “ease citizenship” decision on your main culture. Also, for getting bloodlines you can befriend, inspire disloyalty, and recruit people with them to your country, and then adopt to marry them. Recruiting also unmarries them if they’re married! Pretty op haha
Although it is literally in the same region, I highly recommend trying your luck as Heraclea et Ponticus. They have the Achaemenid bloodline. Very difficult, but forming Persia as them is very fulfilling
after this one how about a Gordyene (the only tribe in the region, just south of armenia) run? being the new warlike mountain tribe in the fertile crescent to come down from the mountains and conquer the squabling "civilized" folks' declining states sounds like a regional classic.
Can you make a tutorial series on how to play? I found your channel after watching a couple of social streamers imperator Rome games and than promptly got it while it was cheep. However, its mechanics are different from eu4 and I feel like I might need some instruction.
I thought I did a pretty good job showing that Seleukid war. At the beginning there was barely any resistance from the Ariarathids which is why I cut it out, it was just some small engagements and sieging. When the Seleukids actually showed up is when the real war began which is why I showed most of that part. Overall though, I was just looking around for good engagements and protecting my forts and the war goal and repeating that until they want to peace out.
PONTUS PIRATE: I wash my hands of these Barbarians!
“The kingdom of Pontus is in Pontus”
“Hmm yes the floor here is made out of floor”
haha!!
Your videos are getting better with each one, I love how you spun this narrative along with the mission tree!
Thank you very much! I had a lot of fun making the narrative of the campaign.

So many Star Wars references throughout the tree...nice

Sure, I'll make a tutorial series. It won't be anytime soon though, maybe.
Nice that you also mention real historical facts related to the playthrough. Do you work in the field or is history just a hobby?
It's just a hobby for me. I would love to take it more seriously in the future. Not as job though.
One of the best campaigns ❤
this looks like a fun campaign
It is indeed quite fun.
Went from Mithradates to Mithradaddy.
Dam, I always waned to play Greek Pontus, did't know it was in the game YAY

Pergamon has a cool flag but I don't know anything about their thing in Imperator Rome
Is that pre or post-update? 🧐
Pre.
Can you do a video on Armenia? Big nation, two subjects.
Eventually.
