- In this video we go over 4 different methods for drawing arches and why using the simple formula you learned in, (How to Making an Arch) is so valuable and easy. We also go over drawing techniques that will improve your arches and show you how to draw large arches accurately. Now you can confidently draw any arch that uses a circle as its shape.

This is great stuff and easily assimilated.. Thanks.. Here in the UK we had imperial measurements too and I didn't understand (ps I'm 65 yrs old now) why we had to go metric in currency, volume and others measurements... now I know.. 10 base is so simple. don't want to go back to 240 pence to the £. thanks for the tutorial!

Is it possible to draw a large radius when you don't have the room to swing a straight line the length of the radius?
Yes, but using a straight line and the radius is the most accurate way. You can always go outside and mark it out on a couple saw horses.
