I agree with Pigsandapples 100% next level and between that and the educational breakdown the format is just killer and as a side note the conservation effort and explanations I think are super important as you have the platform to reach the young up and comers in our sport. I reach 6 people a day while you reach 6 thousand and its awesome that you without preaching explain why it's important

Two suggestions BRIDLE BRIDLE AND THEN BRIDLE Those baits hook pct increases dramatically, doesn't have to be fancy rigging floss just a plain old #5 rubber band makes all the difference and might take 10 more seconds than lip hooking. LOVE THOSE MINI HARPOONS!!!! SO FUN IAM MAKING ONE!!

@@FishAholicTVfunny it kind of destroys the "hiding" of the hook we were all taught as kids it looks bizarre to see the entire hook outside the bait but if you look all the best of the best Marlin to Carp anglers all fish a hook outside the bait. I even do it Mutton fishing I've just decided my customers deserve the extra effort as I want to stick everything that bites

Depending on the braid i think we often use way to heavy a wire hook??? I used to use those big commercial circles and they are designed for big 80W outfits and i just couldnt drive them. They make some uber strong lightwire stiff anymore that sticks so easy
I dont have a boat but if i get a vibe and cast it and hop it a foot or 2 of the bottom whould it work? I have never seen it used like this and i am curious

Love the video but i'm curious why your conventional rod has it eyes curving downward? At first i thought they were just messed up, but it look purposely build that way.
Can you explain how your running short on time? After you pay, do they say when and how long you fish ?
Yeah generally based on the tides they decide when to go out and fish till. It seemed each day we were out in the kayaks for like 8hrs. Some days a little longer like on the mother ship trips.

Are you still in Panama, or is this just extra footage that you had and put it to this video? The schoolie you just got, and messed it's gills up and you have bleeding out in the kayak, wouldn't it be better to just brain it and put it out of it's misery? I don't know, I'm not coming down on you. I'm just curious. I sort of felt a little bad for it flopping around in there. This is probably the first video of yours that I watched all the way through when it first came out. I have a hard time watching videos that are over a half an hour, but I know you're out on a kayak the whole time so it's not like you're not putting your time in. I appreciate it. The more I see the more I learn. The more I get confused I think a little though also too😂. Anyway thanks Rich!

I was fighting the clock. As well as the fish. I knew they would be coming to get me any minute to load up the kayak so I was trying to be quick to get another fish. I bled it by severing it’s artery which I didn’t show because some people don’t like to see that. But it bled out and died quickly. Anyway if there’s more time to waste I would take my time to bleed the fish let it calm down, die, and put on ice. Then continue to fish.

Also, we know you're the expert (and I'm not just saying that because I know you have the belt) I pretty much feel like if it's something I need to catch up on, I go back to your videos and watch them over and over. I would love to share them on my Facebook page, like I do other people, but many of your videos are pretty long. Like I said before though it's understandable.

You need to let them eat longer. Those are big baits!!
They are smart fish and if you let them eat to long they take you into the structure. The guide at the resort said most of the time a lot of the Cuberas will eat the bait and just hold it right up to the hook so you never get them. There were a lot of Cuberas lost throughout the trip either to the bottom if you actually hook them or the bait just pulling out.

Try using two treble hooks on the bait. You may get a better hookup

Idk it’s just a thing us fisher people do. Or some do some don’t. Generally the bigger the fish we start saying “she” more because most bigger fish are actually female. Some fish species like Snook after they reach a certain size as a male they even change sex to female as they get bigger.
Stop holding your reel from spinning every time you get a big fish on. Wtf.
Let them eat those live baits. Hook set is to quick
If you let them eat it to long then they take you into the rocks and that’s it.
10:11 dr juice is horrible for the enviroment and doesn’t even catch more fish, save your money
