- Colin showed me a video of @dudeperfect driving an RC Car on water. I didn't think we could do it which is why I seemed so surprised! As the SCY 16103 pro was sent with tires to drive on water, we thought it was rude not to try. In this video, you will see a remote control car driving across the water! So is a remote control car driving across the sea possible and does it become a submarine? Let's find out.

EDIT: To be clear. Before driving on the sea I sprayed the ESC with WD-40. This was NOT to make it submarine-proof, but to protect the ESC from water splashing onto it while driving. I obviously did not expect it to enable the car to survive 7 dives into the Mediterranean sea.

mine was submerged for 5 mins underwater because i couldnt find it and reach it. it worked fine still. however when dried up and days later i was driving again and it decided to just run of on its own. it would keep doing it every now and then. i bought a new ESC/RECIEVER so hopefully its fixed now.
I love my SCY! If they would include oil filled shocks, they’d be up there with mjx and Rlaarlo in my opinion!
I couldn't agree more. Still can't figure out why they made it brushless and then friction shocks..... 🤷

Agreed and agreed. As of today which is what 4-6 months later. The car is still running like it should. I am still shocked......

Yeah for sure it's a great buy. I still cannot to this day believe it's still running. After all of that. One of the 3s batteries died but the car and all the electronics survived! Impressed for sure! Thanks for the kind words and have an awesome day! 😊👍🏼
