    How could anyone abuse any living thing? That’s something I will never understand.
    I have wanted a slider monkey for as long as I can remember! 😃
    You guys do a great job raising these sweet monkey’s! ❤️

    Kudos to what you do and for saving the monkey, but I got to say, those things are beyond hideous to me, especially that breed. I don't why anyone would want one or any monkey for that matter.... not just because of looks, they can be cute occasionally, but all the diapers and constant care and the inevitable aggression and even worse. Humans are a strange thing I will never understand the breed at all.

      Thank you! They’re the greatest thing in our lives other than our adult son❤️ and them becoming aggressive is not inevitable; that’s false information. If proper care and stimulation is provided they have no reason for depression which is what usually causes aggression☺️

      They need constant 24/7 care and attention.. if that isn’t provided for them then they can def become aggressive! A human would lash out if mistreated also! No one should own a monkey that isn’t home all the time.

    How did u do this

    • @SpiderMonkeySisters
      @SpiderMonkeySisters  2 месяца назад

      It’s been a lil over a year long process. In the beginning she was 9mths & never been diapered, never used a bottle, never seen a toy, & has very little human contact as she was left in a dog crate. At the start it was so bad we had to gently put a blanket over her while trying to put diapers on cuz she’d full on attack you. Now, she lays for 10-15 min to get pampered. We just had to realize she wasn’t being mean it was a response to being scared to death. It was just slow trust building DAILY. And in terms of being able to get a rehome I never recommend a rehome for a first time owner either. It’s hard enough with a happy, healthy baby! Even though most rehomes are not like this situation; she was neglected for sure we know that and we suspect some abuse. Most rehomes are young monks through adulthood; usually the owners can’t care for the monkey. To find out about available rehomes (babies are easiest) is to just make a post on TT that you’re looking for a young monkey rehome🫶

      The only way to find registered breeders is by looking up primate breeders on the USDA Website. Then you don’t have to worry about scammers or illegal sales🥰
