Our prayers are with your sister-in-law. God’s Speed.
A few years ago, there was a couple in Idaho building a ICF house. They tried to present themselves as experts, only to prove they had no clue. It was a comedy show with too much ego and BS. I am glad to see you took the time to learn the product!
Was that the timber frame house
@@tylervanbooven5764 It sure was! It was Pure Ego for Life!
It's amazing some of the stuff you see people doing on the internet and try to pass themselves off as experts. Some of it is right down dangerous and could end up with someone getting hurt or worse.
What a clown show that was. Which direction do the drain tiles go? "doesn't matter" Is that a water leak at your storage fittings? "All water systems leak". Then everyone realized they weren't living on the property.
I remember them. Soooo cringeworthy it was painful to watch. So I stopped watching and unsubscribed. Never looked back!
Enjoyed the video, praying for your sister-in-law recovery!
Prayers and remembering your sister in law, in her time of surgery, and oray for God's healing hands to bring her out on the other side with no more pain. Looking forward to the next video.
Prayers for your sister in law build is looking great Geoff
Thank you kindly
Prayers for your family
Thanks for the update, Geoff. Great progress on the house. Big hug to Liz, hope surgery helps heal her, she's in my prayers. God bless your whole family.
We got to know your Sister in law when you went on vacation, she seems really nice and I hope it all works out because we all know pain sucks!
best wishes for your sister-in-law. hope she gets well soon. the place is really coming together. can't wait to see it when all is done. it's a great design.
thoughts and prayers for your sister-in-law! between you and Dirt Perfect getting a lot of info on ICF.
Will be thinking of your sister in law, hope she gets relief from pain.
Your house is coming along well.
Prayers for SIL! 🙏🏻 Thanks for the awesome updates Mr. Bealy Good!
You & Dawg Dawg are great together. Amazing how a highly stressful moment can change the moment you touch the pup or even chat with the pup. Awesome stress relief. I would show up at the cabin build and they would tell me of a delay and before they told me they said I should get the dog! 😂😂. My dog feels my feelings very well, so they knew better than to p*ss me off as well. They were some of our best discussions because they learned to watch the dog and I relied upon her to keep me grounded! 😂😂. I’m not that bad, but it was a great running commentary. If it was supplies, no problem, if it was their screw up, I had a tendency to remind them it was a 800 sq ft cabin and ask them how I could recommend them for the larger builds they were trying to get into. A lot of it was staff just not wanting to work & because the job was in the sticks, they didn’t come to work with no chance to replace them. I fixed that quickly with incentives for every week they showed up all 6 days of work. They worked 6 hours on Saturdays. Odd, I know. Money talks with the current younger generations!! Especially what they think of as “free” money. They thought it was coming out of MY pocket, it wasn’t. The employer funded it. Only an extra $20 per day, but man did that matter to them!! 😂😂. Got rid of the problems and they finished only a week late as we had great weather in the fall and 1st half of winter!!
Your nephew sure learned things quick and he seems to have some very decent organizational skills. He would be really nice help for the summer! Hope you can land him!!
So sorry about your sister-in-law!! She is fun! Probably has moments she leaves you in stitches laughing!! 😂😂. I will think about her and hope for the best!! Glad you mentioned something (even though it’s none of my business, I like your family Geoff!).
There definitely IS progress!! Looking forward to see how you tie the main floor in as the ceiling for the basement entry level and so on! Do you pour at that point or do you go to the peak with the blocks and then pour all of it at once to avoid cold joints? My buddies couldn’t answer for their places as they gave the contractor a timeline for lockup and went farming!! Didn’t have time to check in! Each of them ran just over 12,000 acres each with a lot of that in crop! I was a little guy with 8800 acres in that area!! 😂. Sooo first concrete on Monday! Wow! You seem to have a lot of energy (stress too) on concrete days!! Looking forward to it!! Do like me and carry the dog around!! 😂😂 (ok my dog is 16-17 lbs 😂). Carrying all 60 plus(?) lbs of Dog Dog would take the concrete off of your mind though,,, 😂😂😂.
Take care and be safe, Eh!
Pour each floor at once. Basement. Main floor. Etc. thanks!
Bealy Good you need to convert the silt catch pond into a constructed wetlands and then put some intake pipes in your main pond with some solar powered pumps to draw from various areas around the pond and flow it continuously (or at least in the day if no battery back up) through the constructed wetlands and then back into your pond......just an all day circulation system into that wetlands for the plants to catch and filter the stuff in the water and then the water flows back into the pond cleaner
That’s a pretty cool idea. Sounds like a project!
Quincy was quick on that run of braces!😂
Another great video!
Looking good Geoff, can hardly wait for the pool pour video! Hope it al goes well! Love the videos!
Thanks 👍
Prayers going out to the SIL. 🙏🙏🙏
Great explanation regarding the joints in the same place. I have been thinking of why you are doing it that way.
🙏for your sister-in-law. good video 👌
Thank you so much 😊
Prayers for your Sister in Law,
Prayers for your sister-in-laws surgery and healing.
Yippee concrete ready or not... Looking like a house now.
Take some time off and enjoy Easter with your family.
I appreciate the educational parts and I’m sure that future ICF home buyers will find the data useful too. Although you are spinning in multiple directions at most times, it was coherent and fell perfectly into place. Must say that you guys make ICF look much easier than it probably is.
Best wishes and prayers to your sister in law. 🙏
I believe it was when you went to Paris last year, that your sister-in-law commandeered, or is it captained, an episode or two. I remember her doing a fabulous job.
We offer prayers for her quick recovery from the surgical procedure.
That’s correct. Ty
Thanks for the update Mr. Bealy! I am so happy for you and your family getting this new house done. Your sister in law will be in my thoughts and prayers for her operation on Thursday. Please update us when you are able about her operation. I have full faith everything will go well. Take care my friend…looking good out there. Can’t wait to see the pour!
it is starting to shape up now..
Geoff praying for your sister in law. May she have a successful surgery as well as a speedy recovery. Love the updates. This is going to be one very beautiful home with an amazing swimming pool.
Ty
Looking into a himiway cruiser, they have fat tires would be perfect and it’s pedal assisted so the charge last longer. Mine has around 2k miles on it and still going strong. 👍🏼 keep up the good work!
Prayers for you and family member that is having surgery. The build system is pretty interesting, and this time of year it's really difficult building a house of any kind. The rain will go away, but it usually comes back n the day you need to be working. Stay safe!
Every time! 😁
It is coming along, and all the best to your sister-in-law and her surgery
Yep Hope all goes well with ya sister in law bro. Coming along a bit more all the time which is great to see. Safe travels. Ken.
Thanks 👍
The radius is looking good now that it’s coming together. 👍
Hi Great Vlog Sorry One of the Family is Il Hope it all goes Ok for Her she's Cool as for the Mics as you say the sound is really Good ON Them Loving the Bealy Castle Turrets Going to Look Really Cool Thanks
Fantastic, Mr B! Blessings to your family.👍
Nice update… love that you take the time to learn about the ICF.. 💪🏻👍🏻
Lots of prayer going up for her, ❤🙏🙏❤
I can't wait for the concrete pour. Hopefully you can source enough concrete trucks to keep the pump running nonstop. Please get lots of video on the big day.
I can't wait to see the finished product. It's going to be great with the Dam in the forefront ❤
Geoff looking great ! Thanks for sharing! Kevin
Thanks 👍
Another nice video Mr Bealy Good.
Nice scooter
Thanks
thanks
Thanks 👍
Welcome 👍
The brace crate makes it easier to remove/replace onto a flatbed and for an excavator to drop into a basement. Also, it gives you some level of inventory at a glance.
It also gives you a need for a $45,000 plus Tele handler
Best wishes for your sister in law Mr bealy good updates are looking amazing have a feeling the issues with the camera and mic was caused by the duck mafia 😂😂
Can you show the chases you put in for the wires and the plumbing etc?
I will when I do them. I’ll do that last, but obviously before Concrete :-)
@@BealyGood thank you
Sending Prayers for Sis-in law.... Looks like another good day on the house site Man, It was awful all day long yesterday, and last night when all the rain moved threw here in Western Ky..Don't know if you guys are getting all the wind in front of the rain that's coming your way?? But, looks like you may get the rain this evening in your neck of the woods !! lolol... Another Great Video Geoff !! Now, Get to work !! lololol....Have a good one Man...
Nice to see how far you've come on the house build.
I'm a tad behind on Bealy Good episodes because my doctors ratted me out to my Bebita Wife Maria as spending way to much time with my 69 years old butt glued to my formerly electric recliner.
Motor limit switches are out or out of adjustment so zi removed them to try fix them.
I am going to go back a semi binge watch some episodes.
Hey Geoff I can smell the over heating through my iPad! Lol. I’m heavier than you and my full size ebike struggles. They are handy.
🤣🤣🤣
Prayers and thoughts for your sister-in-law. I pray that God's Will Be Done and He will give the Doctors the ability to make her better. God Bless All.
Good afternoon G BG. Renting the bracing is a great idea. You can save the lumber you are using for the railings. And use them again. But as for the walk boards. Don’t rent them out. When we set up scaffolding here in NYC all the planks are OSHA approved. The wood ones are laminated not regular 2x10’s and are clearly marked OSHA approved . Of course we also have the manufactured aluminum planks too. Lawyers need I saw more .
Good info. I’m not going to rent anyone for a commercial project regardless.
👍
👍👍👍
Best wishes for your sister-n-law. The curve is interesting. Would that be for a breakfast nook next to the kitchen? Looking forward to seeing the first pool pour.
The one I am working on is for the library (originally my office). However, there is a curved wall for the breakfast area.
Nice. Great idea for a library and a nice space to read a book.
😎
Good information on the foam I have never seen a house built with that. But you are doing a fine job of building your ICF house and pool and I believe that you will have a wonderful a beautiful place when everything is done. I would like to pray for your family and I ask the Lord to place his arms around y'all doing this time I ask this in Jesus name amen
it's called ground fog
To first a Test Drive with a E Scooter . And then farther building the Curved ICF Wall. Slow begin the Wall in the Height to grow. To All the Perfect height have? And with Congrete to fill is. How the Time goes! Good Work.! Greeting from Austria 💪
Hope all goes well with your SIL. Pain without any obvious ending is a major bummer. Life on a bunch of opioids is no fun either.
Have reached out to NuDura but no reply yet. So, I'll ask you. How thick a wall can you build and could you do a 16-20 foot height? Would you be able to do that in a continuous pour? Are you planning any tie straps to connect the blocks with the brick and will they go in before the wall pour. I was wondering about radiant heating in the floor of the pool and theater with the insulation that allows the tubing to snap into the insulation. (Matt from Diesel Creek).
Hey Matt. You can do 12” blocks. That would be 18.25” overall thickness. Aaron did a cool shop build that was a 28’ pour but that is definitely the upper end. The roof is concrete too. I don’t have plans for any ties to the block before the pour. Reach out to Chris to get my number and we can discuss further. There is insulation for snapping in the radiant but I’m not using it. I’m going to tie mine to the rebar since I am putting that in each level.
Lol I have a mobility scooter, its not that fast lol but it gets me around.. 😊😊😊 ,,,, where can Dog dog ride? 😅 thank for sharing, everything looking great
Thanks for explaining the common joints. Was curious what they were because they stood out quite a bit. Was thinking you'd have to put a board over the gap to seal it for the concrete. Didn't dawn on me until you mentioned it that you just use spray foam to seal the gap. Shows why you're building with ICF and not me, lol.
😁
Curious, what supports your bricks on the corners?
There’s a brick ledge form that gets attached to the corners. They haven’t arrived yet.
Prayers for Ms. sexy !
I have a could be a stupid question what keep concret from coming out of the block holes that stick out of the wall when it is beong poured sorry for spelling
Expansion foam. I plan to do a thorough video going over everyone’s questions. Thanks for yours. I’ll add it to my list.
You need to put Bealy Good construction entrance on your sign lol
Why are the brick ledge block in the middle of a wall section?
Because that’s where the bricks are starting. There will be a continuation of it, but it takes another piece.
It’s got a little basket where you can keep you Zima’s and seltzers
LOL. Somebody open up a bag of Sack Crete. Get this party started.
all great to see the progress, I will have to say you will need to think about PPE as you are now over head hight hard hats would be a good starting point and safety boots ? I am sure you dont want you 'free' workers making a claim...
Why are there bump outs on the outside of some of the forms?
Ledge for the brick
What is causing the water color? I couldn’t make it out and the captions made it worse.
Awesome progress as always!
And prayers are with your family
Some is silt but a lot of it comes from a process called Tannin.
Do you only have to brace one side of the ICF ?
Correct
Dog dog rocks
Howdy bealy good
Hey Tugboat
I wished you live closer, I would love to help. Do you have a emergency blow out patch board ready? With these shapes you are using, there may be challenges on pour day. Good Luck
We are going to have a bunch of those. Thanks.
Will you be building two stories of ICF? Curious Canadian here.
Yes
Sea smoke coming off the lake.
more dog dog -thank you from ky
Why isn't the brick ledge a continuous row??
It will be
Just a question? Does that foundation on the outside get waterproofed? Hope everything goes great for your sister in law.
Yes
Bridge got hit around your Sister's area. I do hope she is doing good, and this will not be a burden on her travels.
Her and the fam drove over it 3 times this weekend.
@BealyGood wow, I been over it a few times in 18 years. Glad to hear they are good. Thankx.
Too bad the software that you used for the build didn't had the capability of knowing you were using 16 inch pitch. 8 ' x 12" / 16 " = 6 pitches. When you got done it would have moved the walls just alittle to meet the form factor.
You should see the roof plan 🤣. Notes often that say “adjust pitch”.
Where’s your e-bike at jeff use it to go back and forth
I have like 6 of them. lol. Jackie loves this scooter
I have an lectric Trike with dual battery set up I did over the winter
MR Bealy Good - Sir... as the walls get higher it must be so exciting to see your new home take shape - would be fun to get Mrs Bealy Good do a video of her thoughts and plans now just to see what's she's thinking. Thoughts and best wishes to you all - take care and stay safe
I love your channel and watching the ICF system go up. My thoughts and prayers go out to your sister in law. She is a hoot to watch when she is at your house
Thanks 😊
Geoff I know about back pain and other pains, I am still suffering from an injury I received over 2 years ago in a border riot between Ukraine and Poland at the start of the Russo Ukrainian war, when Muslim students was upset about how the Ukrainian border control was processing women and children first and men last.
So she is in my Thoughts and prayers, I hope all goes well on her surgery.
on the ICF and the high efficiency of the construction on the heating and cooling, and with proper incorporation of solar and water source and ground source heat pump and the proper lighting you can obtain the net zero on the building, as well as the durability in withstanding tornados and hurricanes I have a feeling your ICF construction business in your area may become a booming business and may need 2 or 3 trailers of Plumwall ICF braces.
I do not know if you have seen Jesse Muller videos he has posted where he built his house totally out of ICF, including the roof, talk about a true bunker house, and it is in New York.
So Geoff have you thought about doing a structure with a ICF concrete roof?
I’m looking at a design now that would be a concrete roof
I have a RAD Brand RADExpand5 bike and it is awesome! Check it out....
I am curious to see how many chapel comments you get on that thumbnail!
Dog Dog doesn't like that scooter...no place for him to ride.
People that have a Y chromosome are kids at hart.
I am amazed Mr Beales sponsors are paying good money to (this Anchor) who clearly has no practical understanding of construction. His recent comment when discussing a vertical gap in the block wall that, “it should be filled with that spray foam glue stuff” surely he should tell us that it should be expanding foam.
Zizz
You must’ve misunderstood and thought you were watching some super high paid TV show. This is RUclips where we just talk like real folks. Sorry it’s not up to your super high standards.
Looking good.
It's too late now, but is there a reason you couldn't have made the back corner where the footer steps up to the garage.(@15:50).. instead of the corner you currently have, make it a straight though run with a corner lined up with the garage footer steps..( and a 'T' would replace the existing corner ). this would make it all solid concrete with no joins.. unless the plans call for detached.
That is definitely one of the things I would change if I could go back in time. It’s going to be tricky but I will be tying it in.
When will the Igloo be ready for Concreate Geoff :) . Hope all goes well for your sister-in-law.
Planning for 3 weeks. Should be sooner
