Was a 'on call' repairman before my back gave out on me. Sent many of hours working after normal work hours keeping my customers rolling. Got out of a warm cozy bed to go out in the snow and cold to fix trucks on the side of the road. Enjoy every minute of it. Mechanics keep the world moving. Hats off to them.
Good mechanics sell more tractors than salesman do. Whatever keeps the wheels rolling determines the color of the machine. Hat's off indeed. #hiddenheros
Cole, as an electrician in a rural area the most rewarding short notice calls I've gone to were all on farms. Nothing makes a guy feel more valuable than helping out some of the hardest working people on the planet. My first year I spent 4 hours just keeping cow 1087 from eating our tools or the shirt of my journeyman. I'll never forget that ear tag.
Cole, you're a class act when it comes to your respect and appreciation for the service people who help you to keep going on the farm. Kudos to you and to Brian and your mom for teaching you this important part of living life in an admirable way.
For just a moment, Cole, I thought you were in a one man potato sack race. The fields look beautiful, lord knows the cows are happy. God Bless Sonne Farms and Families
So great the way the farming community takes care of their own. So glad the tractor did not get totally toasted!! Brian, need some songs of the day, miss them
That was fortunate that the tractor didn't have more damage to it, even catching on fire. Great to hear the mechanic got out so quick, that was awesome. I hope all else goes good with the rest of your plantings. Have a good afternoon!
Hi Cole and Dad Brian I just love watching all that you do .Sonny is growing. I just love watching you get your cows and calf’s up and moving them to new pastures. What a nice person to come out at that time to work on your tractor so you can finish your corn planting.God bless you all.
I have been a faithful fan of you boys for several years now. Watched lots of other agtubers. You Sonne boys are in a league of your own and no one comes close! One of these days Brian, I’m going to leave you boys a box of Busch Latte at Storlla. Thanks for keeping this about farming.
Rocky!!! I mean Cole, great hustle! A big THANK YOU to all those behind the scenes people who continue to help ranchers and farms bring food to the rest of the nation.
It's pouring down rain here where we live in Virginia and my husband and I are relaxing with RUclips subscription videos. We subscribe to and enjoy watching a number of farm and ranch vlogs but I am so impressed with how healthy, sleek and shiny the Sonne Farms cattle always look. Well, minus the mud and dust they love to roll in from time to time. 😊 I love to see the attention and interaction you and your dad have with your animals. It really shows in how great they look. We look forward to watching every new post and enjoy how much fun you and your dad have with one another. Makes us feel good! Thanks for sharing.
I like how you respect service techs. I just bought a used McHale V660 baler and the “local” ACI rep was in Mississippi and drove 7 hours to get us in East Tennessee so that the first use and set up would be flawless. Would not take a dime from me for all of his time and efforts. I’m impressed with the baler but having that kind of support is incredible. Very Rare indeed!!
Great job guys, another gem of a video. Proud to see y’all’s pasture grass tall, green, and lush. It’s been awhile since y’all have been blessed with good grass. Stay safe and take care🇺🇸💪🏻🇺🇸
Fair play Graham, the shed looks a great job. Calves looking great too, of course you can always get mats on the slats if the cows are having difficulties. Good luck with the rest of the calving.
6 million dollar Sonne fireman! Lol. You guys sure have some beautiful feisty calves. That one calf was showing off his rodeo skills with his kick and half twist. 😂. You all work so hard and I so appreciate what you do and you bring us great videos. ❤❤
Great Vlog Cole & Brian... The grass looks beautiful... Sure glad you gor the machinery fixed up quickly with no permanent damage... GBY ALWAYS 🙏❤️ 10:11 💙💖💙🐕🐕...💙🤗✝️ P.S. Cole... LOVED the outtro... Go Rocky 👍😁😂🤣😂🤣
Out adventuring in the Colorado Rockies and had to wait for a pilot car detour. Huge truck in front of us in line and I finally had to get out and ask the driver what kind of work he did…Large Equipment Mechanic. I’m sure folks are happy for his arrival! Great work out there and it is the BEST watching Ellie and Sonny play!
A wonderful understanding between father and son. I think in the last video your dad told you that you would get through it later, that moved me. Good luck with this weather, I live in France and we had 26 days of rain in May Friendship to both of you Henry
Wasn’t expecting the Rocky theme at the end, figured it was gonna be Starsky and Hutch! 😂. Glad the damage was minimal considering the alternative. Keep up the great work and the awesome videos!
I have been farming for over 50 years and I don't know how many times my equipment dealer has been to my place after hours and on weekends to those guys are worth their weight in gold could not farm without them!!
We have watched a few John Deere service people repair the fan drives. There is precious little room to work in that area. It is a known trouble spot. You are fortunate that you caught it in time. It is good that you showed your appreciation to get your tech's attention. You are right that he could have just as easily gone home and fixed your big green machine "tomorrow". You handled it well.
Thanks for another great video Cole and Brian. It was interesting and enjoyable. Cole you did a fantastic job of getting to the field with the fire extinguisher. Lucky you did not need it. Seems funny that the grease fitting is hidden behind that plastic cover. I would highly recommend fire extinguishers in all of your equipment. Cheap insurance to save a piece of equipment. You got there quick. Good job Cole. My compliments to your dealer for coming right away after hours to fix the tractor. Appreciate that kind of service. Your pastures look amazing with nice tall green grass. Do great this year. Your cows will love that pasture. Good going Cole spotting that calf needing some medicine. Good shot with the air gun. Sonny really likes to play tag with the other dog. He is really growing bigger. Cute. Nice job moving the cows and calf’s to the pasture. Teamwork made it go easy. Nice. You about have all of your corn in the ground. Soybeans are up next I guess. Go get em. About it for now. You both take care and be safe. And put fire extinguisher in equipment. Thanks for everything. The Iowa farm boy. Steve.
I am so gal darn happy y'all not droughting this year. Sonnes deserved it and God agreed obviously. Now if the Welkers could catch some rain I'd be eternally grateful
Love your Hereford Cole! Growing up my hubby's grandpa and dad raised registered Polled Herefords. We raise Hereford/Black Angus cross. We're both partial to Herefords as they don't try to kill you when you mess with their calf! Lol
Omg. Way to go Cole. Maybe carry one in the tractors. So glad it didn’t burn up. God bless the service man for fixing it for sure. I am greatful that you all have been blessed with all the rain and moisture you have gotten. Pray it makes great hay too. 😊
Cole running to get the rescue, ran that 20’ in record time to the truck and killed in the truck to the field. It’s amazing how the engineers design a part and have a grease zerc behind a shield where you’re not able to see very well behind it. The mechanics at the AG dealers go above and beyond during the Spring and Fall
Yes…a huge thanks to the mechanics who help our farmers when equipment breaks down. We can’t forget the linesmen/women and first responders as well! Cole I was praying you weren’t going to take a digger, which honestly I thought you were🤦🏻♀️
Your outro was hilarious I must say, but so glad Brian was ok and you can laugh about it after, it could have been a different story. Also amazing mechanic, he clearly is a great guy coming out like that especially knowing that you guys have to be out in the fields as much as possible between rain 👏🏻 for that company xx
Song of the day. Cows sing : The old field looks the same (better than ever) as I step down from the trailer. It's good to touch the green, green grass of home.
Service is the difference in businesses. February in Tennessee around 5 degrees with two rented man lifts that were difficult to start after lunch. I called the rental that evening he said don't worry. The next morning the lifts were running when we arrived to work @ 6am!
I like seeing how they pair up, those cows and calves. Will they eat that mustard weed? Have you ever had to tangle with a badger? I'm impressed you had a mechanic show up. No fires is a good thing. Looks like another perfect end to a perfectly normal farming day.
I was a field service engineer for a medical X-Ray company. I hated for my phone to ring in the middle of the night but I always answered the call and did what needed to be done. Fire Extinguishers are not that expensive I'm surprised you don't have one on every piece of equipment.
Glad to see you are finally having some greener pastures. I had to go into the city today and about half way in laying in the north ditch was a big red cow about the same size as your # 15 there. I don’t think she was hit by a car but she was defiantly done for. I felt sorry for the cow and of course it’s owner.😢
Ok Brian made his comment about the splash zone at Sea World and my dog was laying next to me on sofa at same time and passed gas! It was like you had Smellavision on your video! Nice 👍👍👍👍 My wife saw no humor in it at all which made me laugh more! They don’t get guy humor!
Brian, I’ve been watching a few years, and have never seen you get injured. Have you ever had an injury compared to Coles knee injuries. ? You wrangle those cows ,like no other I’ve ever seen.
Is there perhaps some kind of.. "grease extension" that you could replace the original.. nub, with? If there was, that could be attached somewhere further out and make greasing easier for that one spot.
Well, at least you didn’t try to hood slide across the truck with the fire extinguisher. That probably wouldn’t end well. Glad the technician got you back up and planting.

Heroes don't always wear capes.
Thanks!
Hey Rose never come home either Their shift the watch or tour. Shout out to the Goldstar families!
❤
Last year we had 5 foot tall grass and now we have about a foot tall grass and I’m in central Kansas
Hero’s don’t ever wear capes!
Great video. Kudos for the amazing customer support from the Dealership.getting the tractor going.
For just a moment, Cole, I thought you were in a one man potato sack race.

So great the way the farming community takes care of their own. So glad the tractor did not get totally toasted!! Brian, need some songs of the day, miss them
Smoke on the water, Deep Purple
Nice to see they're still mechanics in the world that come out and help right away. 👍
White people things
That was fortunate that the tractor didn't have more damage to it, even catching on fire. Great to hear the mechanic got out so quick, that was awesome. I hope all else goes good with the rest of your plantings. Have a good afternoon!
👏 👏
So god made a farmer. Paul Harvey.
Thanks for all you do.
That was red at my dad’s funeral.
And don't forget the farm wives that first ask, 'can I help' and then say I'll keep your dinner warm.
Way to go ROCKY Looks like a good growing season. Hope you get the rains when you need them

Ellie seems to have come alive with the addition of the new pup....she clearly loves him! Our dog is also named Ellie....
Great Vlog Cole & Brian... The grass looks beautiful...

What is strip till?
That was really nice of you guys to get Ellie a dog of her own. 😏
Sonny is Coles little brother.
Incredible mechanics. Really restores my faith in humanity. Really good stuff, boys.

It might be a good idea to fit all your tractors with fire extinguishers.
Thanks for sharing your lives . Thank you to the mechanic that came out and got you in the field again. . Great video . 👍👍👍
Thanks for another great video Cole and Brian.
It was interesting and enjoyable.

Man I’m so glad y’all finally got some rain! Those pastures looking purdy.
My dad was a mechanic for 60 years. Many times he got a call and would help.
You are extremely right about the service technician. When you treat them right they will treat you right also. Great dealers reward you also. 🎉
5/29/24 - Sohappy you guys got some helpful rain ! The grass was something else!
You two make a great team. It's like you've done this before. That big calf you obviously should have named Pele. He's a kicker.
Never a dull moment on the farm........I remember it well.
Elly needed a buddy. Sonny's gonna learn a lot from her. How to eat cow freshening, how to drag home bones and deer carcasses.
Cole running to get the rescue, ran that 20’ in record time to the truck and killed in the truck to the field.

Lots of positives in this video, thanks for sharing.
Ive said it before I really respect the way you to guys getalong and get ur done

Love the new angles, semi undercarriage, under the 4 wheeler ramp, etc.
All the folks it takes to make a farm successful! Amazing!👏👏👏👏👏
Fire extinguishers are cheap compared to buying a new tractor , should put them in each one .
Keep up the hard work guys! Without you we wouldn't eat.
I've watched ZKMasterTech replace those fan pulleys enough times to know that most don't get greased. I believe the new ones don't require grease.
I have seen the same RUclips videos with ZK Master Tech. There is precious little room to work in that area.
John deer guys always impress me. They know how to find good, smart guys.
Talk about taking care of customers, that's a good mechanic.
Thanks again for your work, it's educational and fun !!!😊
You guys got very lucky on that tractor big time and hi to all of you guys
Always entertaining and informative for this city person.
Thanks Cole for another Great video...
You just let them pups 🐶 have some fun, Ellie is going teach em everything they need to know
Great service people you have there

Thank you Sonne farms!!
Thanks for sharing the grease word will get you every time
Hauling cows, Brian had the Bea Arthur hair going!
Bea Arthur Hair........ that is FUNNY!!!!!!! 👍

Brian, I’ve been watching a few years, and have never seen you get injured. Have you ever had an injury compared to Coles knee injuries. ? You wrangle those cows ,like no other I’ve ever seen.
What is the powder/purpose that you add to the corn as it goes into the planter?
Dry lubricant is all
Sonne is learning his moves - soon be good enough for the bangers
@3:12 It's the first time in all these years thet I have seen Brain's hair! I'm a bit surprised that he has some :)
Is there perhaps some kind of.. "grease extension" that you could replace the original.. nub, with? If there was, that could be attached somewhere further out and make greasing easier for that one spot.
Good to see planting is getting done. My veggies aren't in yet either. Maybe today.
I guess we all learn sometimes the hard way but the good thing is YOU got it and it is fixable
I ENJOYED WATCHING THE VIDEO COLE AND BRIAN 😊
Glad you didn't blow out a knee with the sprinting there ROCKY 😂😂
Well, at least you didn’t try to hood slide across the truck with the fire extinguisher. That probably wouldn’t end well. Glad the technician got you back up and planting.
You have to think about the hundreds of thousands of dollars if not millions your dad has spent on equipment. That is why you get service like that!!
Awesome video Cole. 🚜🚜🚜
Cole put a fire ext in the tractors etc?🤔🤔👏👏
Cole must have watched a few old reruns as a kiddo…Starski and Hutch was way before his time.
haha its a good one
Yes we had our 8360 R fan belt bearing go out and start our tractor on fire.
Thats some nice grass after so many years of dry.
So Cole can expand the operation within the 5-25mile zone - very promising 😂
You should have done a bonnet slide when running with the fire extinguisher! That would have been a pissa! 😂
If you can get it to dry down this year, sure am looking forward to your 1st cutting of hay.
So in the next video please provide updates on how many greasers you had to do….😄
Glad it all worked out
the kicking calf must have been watching the PBR
Cole ,don't you just love when the pairs protest about moving from conformable digs to a new place😅😅
You should try Bovijet’s device to automate pour on’s. Works great!!
Service guys at my house always go home with a big pile of warm brownies with my thanks. 🙏
