Had a problem with my 1200x, didn't run when I started my PC. Only "clicked". After testing it was ok with the paper clip trick, I found out it didn't like one of my USB drives. A process of elimination showed me which one was the culprit, so I removed and then it worked fine. Why did my last 750W work with that USB inserted, but this just didn't like it? So if you get the same issue, use the paper clip test, test all cables are connected and check your connected drives and accessories.

Can the psu fit into the cooler master TD500 case? I saw one behind you.

    You mention that the 850W supports 12VHPWR 300W, 1000W supports 12VHPWR 450W, and 1200W supports 12VHPWR 600W. In each of the videos, the 12VHPWR cable only has 2 150W 8 pin connecters. How can 2x 150W 8Pin connectors support 600W?

Great observation! It might seem counterintuitive, but the power capacity of a cable isn't solely determined by the number of connectors. The key factor is the gauge (thickness) of the wires inside the cable, which affects how much current can flow through them without overheating. Thicker wires can handle more power without issues.
In this case, even though the 12VHPWR cable has two 150W 8-pin connectors, the wires within the cable are designed to handle the combined power of those connectors. The cable's structure and gauge allow it to safely carry the specified power load, in this case, 600W. It's all about ensuring the right balance between connector count, wire gauge, and the total power capacity.
So, while it might seem surprising that two 150W connectors can support 600W, it's a result of careful engineering to ensure safe and efficient power distribution. cnl

@@DigitalDavid cybernetics ratings are associated with power supplies as they do many different tests on psu models that are sent to them and they give a specific rating based on many different factors of the psu.

Oh I see. I'm not sure what their cybernetics rating is then
