    The only scary thing is that these bridges are quite old so the risk of them breaking down is a bit high

      Yeah that’s true, but this bridge was rehabilitated in 1992, so there’s not much of a high risk, but yes I agree, since the bridge is old there is a greater chance of it breaking down, but hopefully that won’t happen

      WRRS 1203 bell, and if you’re also wondering about the bell you hear before the signals went off, I can’t remember the model name but it’s a WRRS motorized bell

    One bell kind of sounds like the one on the Sacramento tower bridge.

      I think It was a WRRS 555 with a different gong, it's on the other side of the bridge. The rest of the bells are 1203 bells

      The bridges on the calumet river operate, almost all the time usually throughout the weekdays

    Going there for a trip. Plan on one of the days getting there around 8:30. You know if they do indeed go through at 9 or how they work. Thanks.

    Sound like they need to fix the bells 🔔

      All they need is just refurbishment not complete replacement

    time to update some things, not to mention those old signals and bell.

    • @flandox6659
      @flandox6659  2 года назад +1

      I think maybe instead of replacing the bridge signals completely maybe they could just refurbish the signals like them getting a new paint job and getting new hoods, as for the bridge itself I think they should also refurbish it maybe like they keep the design but they update the material

    Well good thing they even have the little gates on the sidewalk so that the stupid people that play on their phones and walk will not walk to far forward and get really badly hurt or killed from the bridge
