I kinda have a sad story about a best friend I had in kindergarten up to 2nd grade. After 2nd grade, I moved across the city and went to new schools in that new area. Then, the first year of highschool came and that old best friend of mine shows up again, easily recognizable like not much has changed. But... The sad thing is that we just didn't click anymore as friends and were more like acquaintances. It was so weird to me at the time, but I guess, our personalities weren't compatible after so long apart. I always was a very emotional and sentimental person, and they probably didn't really care for old kids that they used to know.

Don’t take it personal though people grow apart, me and my best friend have been since high school and honestly it sucks watching it happen in my face. I kinda don’t know what to do, I’ve just slowly lost all my old friends after graduating until I had nobody left. It’s like I just never moved on past that point but they did together while leaving me out. So I get the feeling and it sucks but you gotta move on to the next chapter in life.

Taught me to cherish every moment with friends and family, and life in general, if anything.
