Fishing is badass over here in southwest florida right now, despite the red tide. If you find the fish its game on, cobias, snook, and goliath groupers everywhere
That first first you caught was indeed a gogle eye, that is actually the most expensive bait fish in Florida and probably the whole U.S, it goes for $100-$120 a dozen, that could have caught a bigger fish for you dead or alive.
Fishing at Juno pier has been tough recently a few months back the mackerel were chewing by the hundreds I would recommend doing a little drift fishing not to expensive and pretty fun can catch a variety of snappers grouper and a couple kings here and there would be the most common this time of year
Yeah for juno pier I recommend going in summer and using a long leader, small weight, and a greenback herring. You can buy very small sabikis to catch ton of them at the pier. Drop the bait either under or straight down
I know exactly where your fishing. The mackerel are on fire right now and so are the snapper and sheep head. Such a great spot to fish when you figure it out. You can even catch big grouper out there. Keep up the great work. Tight lines
Over here in Colorado caught a rainbow trout about 3 days ago had a bite yesterday but he spit it out other wise everything is good wish I was in Florida miss Orlando keep it up mike.
That rig is the same as a fresh water drop shot. It's funny how the fresh water stuff works the same in saltwater. Try it with bigger hooks and 3 or 4 in plastic swimfish.
this is a crazy bait for flounder but it works use a bucktail cut a strip of bacon about 3-4 in long tie the bacon to the bucktail hook with fishing twine it works dont know why bacon has a strong smell so im thinking thats why bump alond the sea floor you will fell a weight let him eat it for a few the set the hook.
Just drop a Carolina rig with a shrimp at the skyway I’ve caught Keeper mangrove and lane snapper there before and I’ve also caught sea robin, lizard fish, spade fish grunt and pin fish along with puffers.
Hey Mike and Chelsea, we are from South Carolina. We love your channel. We will be fishing skyway south pier tomorrow. If you want to hook up and fish together, that would be awesome. We picked up some really good tips from the locals, we had not caught any fish until we started using their method and then boom it was game on. We are stationed at cement marker number 40. If you make it out here would love to meet you. It is 10 AM Saturday morning southside skyway pier
I would get the really small versions of those sabiki rigs and cut tiny pieces of fish bites to put on there, and could catch 3 or more pinfish at a time. I'd just let it sit in water but not at the bottom, and leave it alone.
Whatever you're using, move it fast. Spanish have hit on fast moving baits everytime I've seen them caught or caught them. I've only caught em on spoons but they had to be moving quick
You wanna fish the south side fishing pier at the skyway. It’s a lot longer and a lot more rock piles. Looks like you were on the small north side pier.
#FirstStateFishing Them sabeki rigs or how ever it's spelt them work fire for Spanish mackerel it is one of my go to rigs for any type smaller fish it always works you just got to constantly jig it quickly at that.
I live in Florida I just went to the skyway saterday to get greenbacks dude they were loaded everywhere nice to k kw your in this part of Florida would love to meet you some time
How's the fishing been for yall recently?🤔 Can't wait for yall to see what we got goin on soon! 🎣

Beautiful fish man! Glad you figured them out! It's crazy to see open water. Most all lake here in Utah are frozen still.
your videos are awesome keep it up first state : )
When you come thru NC, I would love for you to fish some of the small privately owned piers on the waterway...I always bomb when I try to fish them. 🐟
Your saltwater stuff is by far my favorite
Smacks love the Acme casting spoons. Helps to use a little bit of wire to keep their teeth off your line.
Just wanna say how much I love watching your vids and just thank you for entertaining my brain😗👍
Thanks for watching, means a lot!

Looking back at your Delaware clip made me remember how I despise swimmers lol like if u r in the fish I will cast right next to you.
Going deep sea tomorrow out of cape canaveral can’t wait
Over here in Colorado caught a rainbow trout about 3 days ago had a bite yesterday but he spit it out other wise everything is good wish I was in Florida miss Orlando keep it up mike.
Love your videos almost got first but still great job on vids
That rig is the same as a fresh water drop shot. It's funny how the fresh water stuff works the same in saltwater. Try it with bigger hooks and 3 or 4 in plastic swimfish.
Try throwing the crappie jig behind a bubble rig, that’s the best way for it
We use sabkis in NY for mackerel and herring. That and small tins
I fish off of the skyway pier all the time, what works best for me is cast netting for the greenback bait fish and using those
Whooooooo video!!!🎉🎉🎉🎉
ayyy
In NC we use gotcha plugs ! All white , chrome . They do the best for us for Spanish .

how did i not see u at the pier oml i can’t believe it
actually disappointed i was there bruh 💀💀💀
I would use a smaller sabiki. Bait fish will be easier to hook and you'll get a few more bites since they have smaller mouths 🤘🏼
Is that jig on your guide. Heard somewhere that it causes abrasions on your line if you do that too many times. Great video always enjoy watching.
What month did you catch the Spanish in Delaware? Looks like a KastKing you were using? Great video !!
Whatever you're using, move it fast. Spanish have hit on fast moving baits everytime I've seen them caught or caught them. I've only caught em on spoons but they had to be moving quick
I’ve fished and the Deerfield beach pier and pompano beach pier. Wish I could go back

hey man love your videos ! just wanted to ask what that black and blue rod set up is ?
Needa respool your line and oil that reel up other then that banger on banger vids🔥
U gotta fish Juno in mid July/ early august. That’s when u catch MASSIVE snook
You can use NLBN on tthe beach for snook and. Tarpon or on some mangroves tree also for mackerels you can use gotcha plugs
Saya suka lihat mancing nya
u had the right lure for the spanish mackerel
I hold the unofficial record with the sabiki rig. Caught 7 Spanish mackerel at one time off of pier 60 in Clearwater.
You should bring crab net to see if any crab I'd there too
hey first state i was wondering what kind of go pro you use to record your videos and do you use a mic paired with it.
#FirstStateFishing Them sabeki rigs or how ever it's spelt them work fire for Spanish mackerel it is one of my go to rigs for any type smaller fish it always works you just got to constantly jig it quickly at that.
Honestly the easiest easy to use a sabiki is to put a little bait on each hook and leave it stationary
For the skyway pier either fish greenback herring (you can catch with small sabikis) or free line pinfish for grouper
@Text-th4eh Shut up pathetic scammer bot
I live in Florida I just went to the skyway saterday to get greenbacks dude they were loaded everywhere nice to k kw your in this part of Florida would love to meet you some time
If you ever wanna fish in Florida lmk my dads got a boat I can see if he can take you on it sometime
Tuesday March 21st is gonna be a crazy good day at the pier
Hi. what bridge was that at 8:16 with the mackarel? Was it Heron Bridge? thanks
Try using a gotcha plug for Spanish mackerel
Great video beautiful scenery and Mackerel! 👍
in April, and Fall in juno, tossing a crappie jig and jigging it real fast would usually always get you a spanish mackrel
recently ive been catching a bunch of pompino at the jetties in port aransas texas i wish i could fish in florida
Its too bad you didnt train your dog to go outside with you. Lol
Hey bro quick question is that braided line you use and how many lbs is it? Thank you bro I love your videos keep up the great work

I live here let's fish next time it in town
Sheepshead run has been fire off Gulf shores state park pier
Hey bro can u do bow fishing?
If you think its a lot of people, go to poland bałtyk in summer
Spanish are really fast. faster than blues. if you start catching blues reel faster to hopefully get on the Spanish.
Early gang
Catching lots of catfish lately
with those sharp teeth, you have to check your knots, your line and your leaders with almost every fish you catch.
I think that fish was a $10 bait fish
The first one
I live in Juno
Get in your kayak and fish the bridges.
Juno pier
