Hi Pedro, hi to Charlie also, thank you guys for your video's they are so helpful. keep pumping them out again thank you for sharing your knowledge. Your also so fortunate to work side by side with your father, awesome.
If the sensor is on the outside. It probably means the One Box is having NOx efficiency codes or issues. Placing it in the outside just allows the Inlet sensor to compare air (gases) with the outlet sensor. Which means the NOx efficiency will be at 90% or higher. The truck will run fine and won’t cause any further damage to the One Box. Usually a One Box will start to have problems with mileage, age and time. Of course, injectors can help contribute to a bad One Box. What is going on with your truck?
Your temp is above the threshold. It will shut down to protect itself from melting. What are the readings of the DOC inlet pressure and the DPF pressure?

@@CarlosDieselElectricI have a 2015 Cascadia with a DD13. It has been doing most of what is in this video. Breached the DPFs so we replaced them. Upon doing a parked Regen the DOC outlet temp passed 1500 in less than 5 minutes. Private tech forced it 3 more times and started smoking from tailpipe. Can ask you a question? I'll ask anyway if you answer that would be great. 2014 freightliner cascadia DD15 GHG14 1.3 million miles I keep getting a coad 3364 fai 2 It's not bad def. I changed the def injector pump/ metering valve both the nox sensors. I've pretty sure I've got it down to the def is building up in the injector port cause everytime I removed the metering valve It's pulled off. I putting a awning kit in a couple of years ago cause of the different problem but it turned that the awning cause this coad when I removed it the coad stopped. My question is why do you think the def is building up there? I don't have programming to watch levels. But I did start regan and disconnected the 7th injector for sec to see if diesel was coming through (nothing) I was thinking maybe my one box isn't getting hit enough to burn it off.i have no coads for the Doser block. But during the regan it completes in 30 mins but I use to could feel it kinda of jerk several times during the regan now it's just seems like high idle. Any ideas? Thank you
Also a year my fuel pump went out sent metal everywhere I changed everything except that doser block. Do you or have you seen a fuel pump mess up a doser block?
Correct, when the One Box is opened. It allows you to see the inside, repairs the internal housing and clean the DOC. The other option is to replace the complete One Box but we all know how expensive that is.
Thank you so much. I have often thought of doing it that way. But you know how these service guys are they say you can’t do they cause they just want to sell you that high dollar one box. I sure do appreciate your honesty sir. It’s so refreshing to meet such an honest man.

I don’t have a Cascadia but what a great video.
Fantastic on your dad! Thanks for posting!
These are usually one box codes but definitely check doc pressure tubes for cracks and blockage. Hardly ever doc sensors. Usually bad one box
Buen trabajo Pedro.
Great job 👍🏼
Extreme value 😮
Great video Pedro, sorry for my ignorance, but what do FMI’s really mean and tell?
The SPN generally is the fault code, FMI narrows it down to something more specific or an area more specific.
I have my Nox sensor out. Will this operation cause any damage to the onebox system or engine?

What is going on with your truck?
Did u update softwares also ( acm ecm etc?)
Also were u able to find out cause of DOC plugin?
If u don’t mind …plz include the price of parts and labor/hours for each jobs u do so we can have an idea when we go see a mechanic thank u!
so they opened up the one box cleaned it and re welded it?
Open up the side, clean the DOC from both sides and the. Weld it back up. Seal it like new.
