- you all saw this one coming lol...the reaction heavens have blessed me once again with a match made in Star Wars Tribute heaven
AD_edits, being the boss he is, has graced us yet again with his brilliance in a tribute truly worthy of my mans forever and always, the one and only Darth Maul. How can a tribute be simultaneously so hype yet so sad :( my poor guy, he deserved better from the world.
I don't know what else to say about Darth Maul without sounding like a broken record at this point lol, you guys know I love him and I love AD_edits' work and so this was just the perfect combination of awesomeness.
AD_edits thank you for bringing this into my life I NEEDED this
Can't wait to see my mans again soon in the future...hopefully he'll be making an appearance in the Bad Batch series, who knows.....we can only hope :)

Maul's "He will avenge us" is so good. Because he's not just saying that for himself, or Savage, or his mother, but for everyone who's suffering and death was because of Sideous. All the Jedi,Dooku, Obi-wan, hell even down to every civilian who was killed in the clone wars that was orchestrated by Palpatine, that is why he saying they will be avenged. And notice how he says avenge, not revenge like he has been obsessing over, showing in the last second, there was a chance for good.
Maul is a character that you feel bad for him more than you don’t like him being a bad guy and that’s why I love Maul.
Darth Maul is a def top 3 Stars Wars character ever for me. He is such a perfect combo of being soooo cool yet so tragic.
Maul, Vader and kenobi are the best thought out characters in star wars.

This final dialogue between Kenobi and Maul before he dies gets me every time.....I like your reaction very much. I am also a huge fan of Maul and I feel sorry for him somehow.

I love how this video goes into depth over Maul's character; many would view Maul as an animal because his rage was so great in the Dark Side (pre Phantom Menace) that he preferred tearing his enemies apart with his bare hands rather than using the Force. But this shows how pretty much every day of his life since his birth, Maul was a slave to torment; from the Nightsisters cruelty to his master's sadistic training. He climbed his way with determination to inherit his destiny as the next Master of the Sith; so close to the top... and then Obi-Wan cast him off a metaphorical mountain. No destiny, no one to help him, all Maul had was his rage and his pain.
What little love he was ever shown was ripped away from him right in front of his eyes; his brother at the hands of his old master, and his mother at the hands of Grievous. And he tried; Maul honestly did try to find someone out there who could understand the pain he had endured; Ahsoka with being cast aside by the Jedi and Ezra who had his family ripped away from him. It's the kind of thing that almost makes you want to give him a hug.
The music choice for this was next level! But when the violins kicked in🤯🤯🤯 that was something else

I love Darth Maul as a character, he's almost a part of Kenobi's story ending how his began!!! Awesome video as always))))
Maul is just the perfect exemple of a Sith using is anger, while Doku and Sidious master their power he just make one with the dark side and become a beast of rage, if I was a Sith I will be like him for sure.
Maul was certainly a master though.

Aden speaks truth! Maul is definitely on a higher level of cool! Seeing him appear the first time on screen in TPM felt a lot like seeing Vader make his first appearance in ANH. That feeling of...I don't know what that guy is about yet, but he's legit badass, and I must know more!

Your obsession is all good Cat, obsessive love is the closest to actual love the Sith can get and that level of raw emotion with no filter is as honorable to a character like Maul as you can get. In another life a long time ago in a Galaxy far away, he may have taken you as his apprentice and partner. ;)
It’s because of the amazing talents and voice over of Sam Witwer and Stephen Stanton as Maul and Ben Kenobi, that the Maul vs Kenobi lightsaber duel in Rebels is my favorite of all time. Great video as always Cat 😇

This was such a sick video and reaction. Not only did it highlight how great maul is but it was also a cool little tribute to obi wan. I feel so bad for him seeing him lose his master, satine, then eventually anakin.

Indeed, Maul lived to fight another day and I’m glad AD edits paralleled these shows well together. I knew Maul was still alive before the canon, but here he is now.
Wish Dooku aka Darth Tyrannus got the amount of love that Maul got. Dooku was the main sith and antagonist of the whole Clone War after all.

Im glad im not the only person who is obsessed with Maul😂😂😂 i saw Phantom Menace when i was 7 and my parents were worried i would be scared and freaked out by him but instead, deranged 7 year old me was like 😍😍😍 its been that way since then honestly 😂😂 Sam Witwer playing his voice makes the obsession even worse. Hes such a tragic character. I feel so bad for him.

Maul is the best. I lost my mind when I found out Maul was coming back. My wife knows how much of a Star Wars fan I am... At the time she was my girlfriend. Watching this I must say made me realise something but I dont know if it was intentional from star wars. First I remember liking Maul as a villain when I saw phantom menace came out finding it a pity it wasnt deepened but then regretting seeing him return in clone wars and then enjoying him in rebels for you truly see more depth too him and loving the poetic final fight on tatooine with Obi wan. When he returned in the final season of clone wars. I understand how he is actually a very interesting persona. But what I realise watching this video is that in a sense, obi wan kenobi and Maul are like é sides of a different blade. If Kenobi would have fallen to the dark side, perhaps he would have been more like Darth Maul and vice versa. And that is where in a way in the final battle you actually see how Kenobi evolved. Anyway, cant say I am as huge a fan as u of Maul (more Kenobi fan or bocatan), but have come to appreciate Maul more. Indeed great tribute and reaction.

As bad a Maul had it he was just as bad to Obi-wan in the end, Maul took the life of all the closest people to Obi-wan other than Anakin, Maul killed the Master, the only woman Obi-wan ever loved, and then himself in the end when he lost the final duel
