@@shruggknucklesfistbump4381 Perhaps but I don't think they'd have Starkiller/Galen Marek return since he is very overpowered. And he's also not canon.
@@shruggknucklesfistbump4381 Wishful thinking is better than...no thinking at all? I'd also like a Starkiller/Galen Marek return or cameo or Easter egg. Even if it's just a little mention.
When Maul showed up on Clone Wars I was like “WHAT?!” I thought it was a bit ridiculous they brought him back, I mean he was cut in half for Christ’s sake. But then came his character development and Sam Witwer’s voice acting. Which I loved him as Starkiller btw, as his story fleshed out and he became more of a central character. I grew to really appreciate his story arch and now I can’t help but think about how much would be missing from it all had he not been there. As for his end, I’m glad they gave him an “honorable” death, in a way. In spite of Obi Wan having every reason to hate him for everything he had done, Obi Wan still held him in his arms as if they were old friends, perhaps they were in a slight sense. It was better for Maul to die fighting his enemy than it was to just waste away with no purpose, no allies, no family. I think he knew he’d die at Obi Wan’s hands, and he’d rather it be him than Vader or the emperor.
@@-hasamastersdegreeinwumbol8565 I think he hated the idea that Kenobi represented, the Jedi and the Republic, two systems that Maul probably saw as failing him as a child. He needed rescuing, and when he was just a child being subjugated to the Sith, before he was brainwashed, he was probably crying, begging for help. Later in life, when he was betrayed by the system/person who brainwashed him, he grew to hate the idea of the Sith and the Empire. He did everything he was asked, only to be forgotten about and used as a weapon. I think it's for these reasons, that Maul didn't really hate Kenobi or Palpatine, but just the galaxy and the fabric of the society that they lived in. This is why his revenge would have been fruitless. Had he succeeded in killing Kenobi, it would have then been about Palpatine. Had he succeeded in that, it would have been about dismantling the Empire. Had he succeeded in that, it would have become about hunting more Jedi, like Vader. Had he succeeded in that, he had no purpose.
Maul is my favorite character, Ray Park with his moves and Sam Witwer with his voice make the perfect combination. One of the best scenes is CW in the Hallway making caos

The one Maul quote that I just LOVED was: “So the only thing you can tell us, is that we may find Jabba… at Jabba’s palace?” And then he simply looks at Savage. Chills every time!!!
Maul is the very reason I got into Star Wars all those years ago when Phantom Menace came out. Clone Wars and Rebels added so much more depth to his character which makes him one of the best characters in the entire series. Brilliant reaction 🔥
Early notification squad reporting in ✨ Maul's one of the most developed characters imo in the Star Wars Universe thanks to clone wars and rebels. My fave scene of him is on Tatooine with his final showdown against Obi Wan Kenobi, and his last words still chill me to the bone: "he will avenge us..." Hope you're doing well today 💕
I love that those were his last words too cause to this day no one quite knows what he meant, does he mean us as in the Sith (which he had completely turned against at this point), does he mean him and Obi Wan, does he mean "us" as in "us that came before and caused all this destruction and devastation", its still a mystery what he truly meant by that
I was so happy they brought him back loved him and his character ep1 this video was definitely cool and emotional that end scene was beautiful , it was like a samurai showdown there last duel , favorite duel anything we seen him in.
My favourite lightsaber fight in all Star Wars is the one from Twin Suns. I'm glad you also appreciate it. I love the images superposed on Obi-wan in this as he takes each stance.
When I first watched the phantom menace when It first came out, darth maul was and still is my favorite character, and even when obi cut he in half and I watched him fall down into the darkness. I knew then that someone he was alive. Now I can say I freaking called it when I saw the end of Solo!
I think the scene where he’s in the pit and having like a ptsd moment and showing how mentally warped he is from relaying on hatred and the dark side is honestly my favorite scene because how we was from the lowest of the low points any character has been in from Star Wars and showing his built up from there was just amazing! Maul is definitely my favorite character over every one in the Star Wars universe, I know most of his lines just from watching his scenes maybe 3 times lol
My favorite Maul moment, was the brief interrogation of the one Hutt his group had captured. “Tatooine! Tatooine!” “Jabba’s palace.” “So, the only thing you can tell us, is that we can find Jabba… at Jabba’s palace?” Maul looks to Savage, and you knew it was over.

Great reaction to what I call the closest thing we'll get to a darth maul movie. Now for your question my two favorite maul moment him taking over mandalor and the dark saber the second him popping up in Solo movie and getting me back into star wars
There's a 15min breakdown video on why that final short fight between Obi-Wan and Maul is THE perfect lightsaber duel, despite what fans originally wanted to see.
Sam really did bring new life, expanded, etc to Maul which didn't last long in The Phantom Menace to become this icon. ---------- Speaking of that a new full Star Wars fan film dropped and one of your favorite SW characters is in the fan film called "SCOREKEEPER" unless if it's in your pipeline just haven't gotten to it yet here is the link to it. ruclips.net/video/yoooOIrSyCM/видео.html
The final fight between Maul and Kenobi was great. Kenobi knew Maul could never resist using the same move to take down both master and apprentice so Ben was ready for it and knew how to counter it. Brilliant writing.
Maul's way too cunning that. He wanted to die, to not have to suffer anymore. He was too prideful to surrender so he chose to be basic so Kenobi could anticipate him and end his pain once and for all.
I can be such a bastard sometimes..... But, this is the way of the SITH.....Great one LJ.......always love me some Maul reactions.....I hope Darth Maul Apprentice is soon....you'll go nuts for that live action....thanks for this LJ
Maul is such a tragic story. I think my favorite duel is his final with Kenobi. Kenobi shifting stances to Qui Gon to bait Maul into the move he used before. The end where Kenobi holds him and as seen in this edit, the same way he held his Master and his Love, he held his Nemesis. This biggest reason I love Maul is the voice acting. It's so incredibly good. Impassioned effort from Sam, I dont know that there is a single better voice performance, maybe some equals but none stand out as better. Hamill as the Joker is the only debate that I think would be fair.
When i first watcged star wars as a kid, i never thought id cry for a sith, yet when Maul said "He will avenge us". I was pretty emotional My favourite fught was definitely Maul vs Ahsoka
I can't believe Maul was such a beloved character in The Clone Wars that they digitally added him in a later edition of the Phantom Menace... I got the r/woooosh locked and loaded.
I will have to say maul vs Ahsoka Tano the fight scene was epic with that epic music 🎼 to back it up! Now if they put that into a Star Wars movie that would be totally awesome! Do a movie or trilogy on Ahsoka Tano or thro her side or point that would be way cool to see!

Maul was actually planned to be the original Antagonist in 7,8,9 before Disney bought the rights
So this ending was they’re way of serving him right
