Ten years later I come from a Steve Vai video casually mentioning you as someone who would lift the guitar to the next level. This masterpiece I now just witnessed is 10 years old. My mind is blown.

The feel! What's up with the chord progression at the end? That's as impressive as your soloing. It's epic. Wholesome, really. 3:15 onward, some might not see just how intricate that progression is but it's lovely!

I remember first seeing him play this song when he won the guitar hero contest many many years back. Yes, this guy is truly the Mozart of guitars. His finger tapping and tone and his ability to grace the fretboard at lightning speed are truly amazing. And the way he dynamically uses the hair tie to prevent ringing was a first when I saw him many years back. And if all this isn't enough, he's married to Gretchen Menn, a beautiful amazing guitar player in the all-female band Zepparella. Daniele rules the world!😊

It is music to my ears,.. as for hard he is trying, I have no idea what is in his head nor will I presume to know. Physically it doesn't look like he is trying very hard, it is pretty fluid in my eyes and pleasing to my ears.

Daniele, useless to say that your technique is incredible... but there is so much more here! Imho this is one of those cases (for shredding oriented players) where music is really at first place and the skills of the player are transparent to the listener. The result is great, I like very very much the melody, the notes are somehow flying away from your guitar... Thank you!
