    Surprising the number of comments one reads about how amazing must be the memory of a pianist to "cram" so many thousands of notes of a musical work and be able to play them without "reading" them. Fact is the piece is rehearsed and played so many times until there is a thing called "muscular memory" in the hands, fingers, arms, whatever that allows the work to be played almost in a robotic mode. The thing the pianist has to be able to command perfectly is the phrasing, the sound all the things that matter to the "music" itself, so that it portrays the emotion it carries with it. Because music is pure emotion, mind you, at least the real and important one. The real work of the good pianist is to render the emotion. And Tiffany does it perfectly!

    For someone who professes to be drawn more towards the romantic repertoire rather than the strictly 'classical' style, this rendition is astoundingly accomplished. Not only is it technically perfect, but you have clearly demonstrated exactly what is going on in this piece. There is nuance, humour, tragedy, and characterisation aplenty. This is the finest rendition of this Sonata on RUclips...and the competition is stiff!

    Very good. Good feeling (most important) but all notes can be heard as well. No sloppy playing as many other pianists. Beethoven's music is a rollercoaster of dynamics and feelings.

      da disonance and take back in dynamics is always what I love about many beethoven pieces - the harmony in his orchestral works as well too... beethoven senpai

    Honestly, you are world class material. I'm dead serious. I think the most impressive thing here aside from your playing is your memory. I've said it before and I'll say it again, the way you play is just so damn good -- I'm using the word good because there aren't really any words that describe how I feel.

    • @trmbne
      @trmbne 5 лет назад +20

      Good? She is extraordinary. The passion she puts in her music is exquisite. It's something a person gets after years and years of practice and effort. There are plenty more words better that "good." Also playing a piece by memory is incredibly easy, as it's something that you don't even have to try, it just happens.

      from a person who has encountered the "good" wall, you can improvise a bit and call her amazeballs!
      not a real word but i feel that describes the out of world experience i get from listening to her ^^

    So excellent ! Very delicate. Soft notes under such inspiration and lightness. Chords notes totally synchronous. A marvel of clarity. Good use of pedal and adequate regular tempo. Nearing your head to the shoulder does not fit. Music is inside as Horowitz said. Moving your head up and down helps more, with a nice profile. Beethoven must be proud of you with this brillant and rare interpretation
