Hey I’m Josh from Adelaide, South Australia. I'm a proud father of 3 and passionate about heavy music.
I was the bass player for post-hardcore/alternative rock group Capulet from 2004-2012, releasing an album, EP and several demos.
Capulet were signed to Red Bull and the Taperjean Music Group alongside Closure in Moscow and The Mission in Motion.
Highlights of my music career were playing with amazing bands like Anberlin, Emery, Scary Kids Scaring Kids, Haste the Day, Awaken I Am, and touring Australia several times.
I wasn’t the most technical bass player, but lived for performing on stage. I have always loved the process of song writing and the visual art that accompanies music.

This song is “To The Hellfire” perfected. Same structure essentially but faster and more modern Lorna
2nd breakdown hits like a fucking truck
He was on a twitch stream with Nic Nocturnal and stated that they wanted to start the album with a "ass kicker". Easy to say they epically succeeded.
this album is pure perfection. in 24 years of loving music i had never got something like this. it is all i ever wanted and i didnt knew it was needed
Before this album's hype started building, I had actually never listened to deathcore. When the leadup to the new album caught my attention, I finally gave in and listened to Sun//Eater, which was the first song I'd ever heard from a deathcore band, and I fell in love. I've probably listened to this full album, plus the EP that came out before it, several times over. It's an experience to listen to every track in sequential order.
Some parts sounds like dimmu burger (borgir). Some symphonic black metal vibes here and there...love it.

It's mostly just the trilogy - last 3 tracks - that are soul destroying. This one is the epic intro. Into the Earth is basically sleep paralysis set to music (especially the video). But yeah, the Pain Remains trilogy will fvck you up good and proper. More so if you watch the videos.
