I’ve only had one thunderstorm in my entire experience with animal crossing new horizons and it was awesome. Normal rain is just dreary but thunderstorms are so exciting!

Having a gifted villager doesn’t seem to really decrease the value of the villager but definitely increases the difficulty you’ll have selling them- people are more likely to select an ungifted when they’re looking to make an expensive purchase. That’s from my experience at least...
Why would it be more difficult to sell an ungifted villager? Wouldn't it make more sense for people to actually seek out ungifted ones, so they don't come with clothes/furniture they (the player) don't like?

Etce you were on the right track! If you don’t give a animal any gifts it highly raises their value, since then players get a “fresh” animal so to say... it’s as if they found them on an island! I hope that makes sense 😭
I noticed you have the Clacker Cart DIY Recipe. I invited Hornsby to my town, and on his first day in my campsite, he want- ed me to make him one of those.
They need to add natural disasters to the next game. I expect hail, accurate tornadoes, blizzards, and everything else. I want to have and fix the power lines, repair burst pipes, fix roofing, and rebuild houses after a tornado comes through. I want a fully accurate weather experience. Flash floods and everything.
As someone who lives in SE Texas, I find an odd comfort in the heavy rain days in Animal Crossing. I've made my island like my little coastal town IRL, with palm trees and lots of green plants everywhere. When it's all quiet and the thunder rumbles, I feel like I'm home. 😂
Since you seem to be confused about ungifted and gifted stuff: If you plan on trading a villager, or you just don’t want them to have different furniture don’t gift them clothing or furniture. I would recommend gifting villagers fruits or assessed fossils (if you’re rich enough you don’t need to sell them) I recommend getting wrapping paper from nooks cranny, stack 3 of your native fruit or 2 of a non native fruit (pumpkins and coconuts work too) then wrap the stack of fruits. Wrapping them is required or else you won’t get any items back, and who doesn’t want free stuff even if you just end up selling it? The villager will remain ungifted if you give them fruit because you can’t place fruit and villagers can’t drop items, plus it’s fruit they’ll just eat it.
