I could live in that full time!
That’s what this one is built for.
With so many people choosing to full time these days, it’s so nice that manufacturers are listening to consumer feedback and making some floor plan changes to really make these rigs comfortable for full time living.
I’m going to live in it full time
Since my "excited" previous post on purchasing the Montana 3901 RK, I thought I would do a follow up on what we've been through and my thoughts on the "top of the line Montana". After the RV arrived to our home, with in three weeks, moving the dresser slide in/ out "three times".... "only" "three times", the dresser slide cocked to one side and quit working. We were getting ready for vacation to Grand Canyon & other destinations the following week. I called Keystone service, they walked me through how to move the slide in & out manually. I inquired to a mobile service come to our home and fix/ repair the slide before we leave on vacation (shops are 6+ weeks out) ... Keystone service said, I could contact a mobile service, but Keystone would "not pay" for the "warranty" service. I'm NOT pleased with this response at all... this is a top of the line unit, 120+K and Keystone would "NOT" pay for a service call to repair the "BRAND NEW UNIT"!! I made arrangements for service when we returned ... again 6 weeks out!. Went to Grand Canyon while setting up at the RV park, I tried to manually open slide, the slide wouldn't work at all ... for three weeks, we had to squeeze between the dresser slide and bedroom barn door to access the bed/ bath areas!! During our trip to Grand Canyon, the right refrigerator door popped open and swung around and hit the lower cabinet drawer handles..... now we have four dents on the right refrigerator door from hitting the cabinet drawer handles. After seeing this... I saw the right refrigerator door was mounted low and leaned to the top left and the locking pin to hold/ retain the door shut barely catches the center locking piece...when the trailer moves the door pops open.... we have to "tape the refrigerator door shut" when traveling. Backsplash to the left of stove is starting to peel off, the LED tank level feature at the top of In Command unit... doesn't work properly (sometimes they do/ sometimes they don't)... indicates levels in tanks when they're "completely empty"... "ALL" of them! We have a water leak behind water fill & tank dump panel, the trim fell off above dining table, behind the recliners, right of the 1/2 bath door, second step in to the kitchen creaks like a 100 year old house and second step left trim fell off. We get back to our house after this fun trip in our "NEW" "top of the line" RV (sarcasm) and while moving the dining slide out so we can unload and clean the RV, the dining slide stops 4" short of fully extended out. I hear a unfamiliar sound under dining slide, I go out and look under the slide, then I go around to the sofa slide (they're the same) the jamb/ locking nuts on the drive side have backed off stopping the slide short of full extension.
Have to say ... the excitement is "GONE" and "TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED" with Keystone service and the "QUALITY" I thought was there .... never was, just a polished tu**!!! This is NOT a cheap low end RV... this is Keystone/ Montana "top of the line "NEW" 3901RK "Legacy" and as of now... We're "DISGUSTED" with our purchase!!!
Oh, and DO NOT, I repeat "DO NOT" go to Camping World for repairs!!
I can't afford a 5th wheel right now, but your my favorite person who shows the RV, so I like to watch your shows.
You are very professional, and you show all and tell everything you know.
Thank you.
I really appreciate your salesmanship and your product knowledge.
You're not too loud or too crazy, but very caring in your product and helping the customer .
Nice rig.
Love the closet and the bathrooms, I wish the bedroom had a fireplace and
also would need a loft as I have 6 grandchildren.
With Montana, never a disappointment . Beautiful.
Thank you.
That’s the best closet with washer/dryer space I’ve seen. Usually you lose half the storage but this is a great solution
The kitchen area is IMPRESSIVELY beautiful. It gains classy look. It looks really nice. GORGEOUS layout. The whole surroundings of that RV Living has terrific designs. Pretty cool environment. It's a HUGE RV.
You do a great job educating future customers. I enjoy watching your videos. Just purchased a Keystone Cougar 316.
Love rear kitchens! Really beautiful model....
Love real kitchens also
This RK floor plan looks great but we were on a 5 week trip and the constant rocking back and forth broke every shelf in the refrigerator and all of the shelves in the doors. I was so upset that for 4 weeks we had to use a yeti in the kitchen every time we moved because we could not drive with items inside the refrigerator. When I wrote to keystone, I was told it is not under warranty. Are you kidding me? This is an engineering nightmare!
Yah! This is by far one of the best floorplans I have seen (for full-time couple living)! They took what I liked from several different other rv floor plans/manufacturers & smashed them all together! Still get the nice sized decent kitchen, still get the underbelly slide in the rear, still get a 1/2 bath, still get a big master bath, still get the front closet which is always larger. What I would tweak: yes, dishwasher prep (or installed) would be a nice option. I agree with the previous comment that an electric heater in the MB is needed & needing a flip down seat in the shower. I would also like to see a few inches taken out of the 1/2 bath & master bath to make the MB a smidge wider - then add the side nightstands (like Riverstone). The 1/2 bath while, yes huge, feels like a waste of space - either make those cabinets way bigger giving more storage space (because who doesn’t need more storage space in an RV if you are living in it full time) or move the washer/dryer there leaving more storage in the front MB closet. Although, I also like several others comments about possibly making that 1/2 bath a dedicated office space. Would be nice if that was an option. My husband will also be working from our rig when we get ready to go full time & it would be really nice to close the door on all of his equipment & paperwork (instead of having everything out even if there is a dedicated desk like some other manufacturers we have looked at offer). For this rig, we would have to remove the dining table & turn that slide into his desk/office. But otherwise - excellent job designing this floor plan (without it being some massive 45 footer or larger).
Definitely my favorite RV I've seen in awhile. Absolutely perfect!🥰
O M G!! A REAL CLOSET & stackable w/d space too!!
Would personally like a Induction cook top & no gas oven. The Micro/Convection above is great. I have personal issues with gas in rigs.
This is a stellar RV.
That is absolutely perfect for what I want and need! Thanks so much for doing these videos. I've probably watched 50 of them and this is exactly what I've been looking for.
Man I love this unit ! Well done !!
I love this. I could live year round in this beautiful 5th wheel.
Finally, a unit that pulls all of my wants and desires into one beautiful coach. Awesome. ❤
Glad you love it!
Love that you are putting these in Spanish too!
Love this Montana, however I am not a fan of where the floor heat ducts are in the living room. Most people will put a big rug down and this does not allow you to do that because of where vents are located
Same about the floor vents. Also trip problem if not flush. Not sure solution.
"DO NOT" look at this Montana unless you're ready to buy! .... We looked and looked at 5th wheels and saved the best overall for last. From the moment we walked in, the features and comfort of this trailer are better in person than watching the video. We're "very happy" with the overall unit... the quality, "COMFORT", storage galore (inside & out) and layout fit our wants/ needs.... it has "everything". We cant say comfort and homie feeling enough about this trailer! If I were to be "picky", I have only one negative, it would be the shower. Montana needs to get rid of the molded in rear bench seat and go the fold down rear bench (like almost all other mfg's). With a 48" shower and the rear bench is 12", the shower head is right in your face. I'm going to fix that shower...lol
I agree with the idea for the shower! But I’m glad you like it and appreciate the comment! Enjoy
You did a fantastic job!! I love that kitchen! It has plenty of storage space, especially for food (so many don't). And it even has a (much needed) broom closet! Plenty of seating also. Great, spacious bathrooms! The only thing I would change, if I had a chance, would be to put a queen bed in to have more space on the sides, plus we could put those shelves down where we could actually reach them. Other than that, I love the layout & amenities including the w/i closet and w/d space. I could definitely live there full time! Thanks so much!!
Hey Myles! I just wanted to let you know that the table actually folds out, so when you lift it up, take the shorter part under the table out, and that will make the table a little bigger for more table space. Hope this helps!
We've got ours it's a 2023 and we absolutely love it!!
I’m going to cry!!!!!!!
This is my dream!
An amazing 5th wheel!
Wow, this is a great design with very modern features. ❤
Ok I'm not gooseneck girl but this one is ABSOLUTELY stunning! I literally love everything about it!!!
It’s pretty amazing isn’t it?!
I love this. I have a toddler and this would make it where I could gate off the kitchen.
One of the best I’ve seen 👍
You have just shown me our new RV! I Love Everything about this one! We are full timers and it's time for an upgrade❤
Very nice rig. Would be nice if it had built-in heater in the bedroom (save the propane option) . Also a shower with a flip down seat to give more floor space in the shower. Other than that it's a awesome setup for what my wife and I are looking for
So much room get a fireplace. Adds a nice touch and heat..
Love your videos! The floor vents ruin the whole thing.
Ok, I recently discovered the front kitchen and thought that was my jam! Now I'm not sure? Haha The rear kitchen is nice too! The walk-in closet 👀 I'd love that!
Huge improvement in the location of the fridge! Open flooring in the kitchen was really crammed in past models when they couldn't incorporate an opposing slide in the kitchen with a residential fridge. I have an Alpine with a mid-kitchen and front big window. I believe the window is nice but just looking for a rock to blow it out someday! LOL I would be interested in knowing how many designers of RV's throughout the industry actually have and use RV's?! Love your video's!
Love this model! I think I've found our new home! That bedroom walk-in closet & guest bath size are impressive! Thank you for all that you do to show us what's out there & you are so informative!
Thanks for watching and here to help when you’re ready to get yours! 469-996-9247
I love this kitchen, it’s well thought out.
Great video, Myles. Couple questions for you. What is the insulation rating for this RV? How thick are the walls? Are the windows double pane? Lastly, how does the Montana compare to Solitude when it comes to insulation quality? Thank you.
This Montana is GORGEOUS! However, I'm disappointed that this 2023 doesn't have the opposite sofa like the 2022 has. The refrigerator looks contemporary, but the one in the 2022 I think I like better. I'm obsessed with 5th wheels now. My husband and I bought our first camper, 2019 North Trail and we like it. We're thinking about living in an RV full time. I think I could live in the Montana but not the North Trail...I would choke him. When we sell our house in South Florida, we'll contact you. He's a HUGE Cowboys fan so getting him to Texas wouldn't be hard. Your videos are awesome, BTW.
My only complaint is if you stop, you can’t access fridge or get up in Kitchen.
Just beautiful!
Hi Myles,
I absolutely love this RV, nicest floor plan I've ever seen in a fifth wheel😊👍
Oh how i love this! We have a older model with rear kitchen, but this one!
OMG I need that skinny door next to the fridge lol
Nice review keep up the good work
I call that living room furniture color I call it caramel color. I love the Montanas
Love this model! I’d prefer the larger 4 burner stove with a larger oven, Innova?? The living area and rear kitchen, in that cottage white with the brown gray furniture is nice! I think the W/D would fit better in the 1/2 bath since it has more room…but it’s nice in the MB too.
I feel like the fridge should be in the slide part. The living slide could be bigger to fit an Lshaped sofa. I would have that half bath made into an office space. That closet though .... yes please! Looove this.
I think it would be way too heavy for a slide though
Gorgeous. My 2nd favorite.
My favorite one so far, but missing the outdoor kitchen 😢
Great tour! Big fan of the Montana. Don’t especially like the look of the side valances. A solid finish looks cleaner.
That is the perfect trailer for my parents to full time live in! We will be contacting you soon Myles!
You do great job in your reviews.
I really like this one. Finally no dinette and no island
You want it four burner, because three burner has smaller burners and everything Cooks in the middle of the pan. When you have a 4 burner there's at least one burner that's regular size that cooks throughout the pan. When you have a 3 burner small ones it burns in the middle and over Cooks in the middle and it doesn't cook on the sides of whatever you're cooking. It would be different if the three burner stove would have a big burner in the front then a three burner would be fine
Beautiful!
I love this one
This is exceptionally nice. However, they need to think about elderly and handicapped when designing with stairs. Love it
I love the kitchen but I would need a four burner stove and a full size oven. The rest is perfect
Why is that exactly? Just curious as I have never in my life used 4 burners at the same time and I’m not sure what you feel would not fit in this size over that’s only slightly smaller than the largest one available.
I have never used all four burners either.. Not even for a large Thanksgiving Dinner
@@mylesrv I love to cook elaborate meals and bake
I love this model!! BUT, I still do not like those dirt collecting heat vents positioned in terrible spots throughout the floors....
This part!!!!!!!! Ugh!!!! I would never use the heater [ I never did in my rv except for extremely cold nights. I had a 80$ heater someone gifted me would heat up my whole rv ... just sucks to have to remove everything to use it and continuously clean them out
I absolutely love everything in it only one thing I wish it had a extra loft or bedroom of some sort. Otherwise it’s perfect.!
WOW . 😮
Beautiful 🤩
I have asked these questions on other ppl sites no one answers, maybe you can, if you’re taking a shower and someone uses some kind of plumbing, does that make the shower go cold?and why doesn’t RV Co put in pull out under counter cutting boards? that’s extra counter space and space saver.
I would love something like this but with an office space. The few office spaces I've seen on their offerings are lacking on some other things, such as a RK. I'm single and would love to work and live full time on an RV like this, but if they would've sacrificed the half bathroom for some office space. I would've been sold.
Nice walk in closet you can put in my fa the montana 3761FL n no put washer dryer in it lol put one combo washer dryer in kitchen the end this is nice but the extra bathroom in my fav one is the seller for me just wish it was bigger
Love this rv
Would be hard for people who do not like places premade where they cannot change it ! Overall Nice
Video locking up !!!! Starting Around bathe Half bath on up ?
My dream mini mansion!💝
Awesome alternative to the Luxe 46rkb, at least price-wise, i assume.
It so darlings. I love it.
Glad you love it!
I would love to have one of these to live in full time. Such a nice layout.
Love it for full time
Thanks for watching!
The couch color looks like espresso
This isn't the floorplan that I would be interested in (family of 4 here) but I'm curious for those that do like this rear kitchen setup - isn't it annoying to load/unload groceries? As in, you have to open the slides to do it? Also, I feel like it's missing an eat in area so that you don't have to walk down to the table or living room with your plate of food. I mean, not a huge deal....but I feel like I would find it annoying? Being that far away from your grill seems like a bad design to me?
How's quality control? Is EVERY unit that leaves the factory given equal care in its build? No leaks (gas, water, roof) furniture and fixtures not coming undone, appliances have no issues, brand new units don't have to be taken back for repairs?
I have heard, more than enough to cause concern, that the rv industry is a house of cards in these aspects, but hey look bluetooth and wifi.
Can u get a tub in the Montana....price?
Thanks for sharing. Any dishwasher option? You just answered my question in video. Thanks!
It’s very nice! Blessings and Peace ❤️✝️
I love the size of the kitchen and living space
But we would need a bunk house to accommodate kids
Very nice but the floor vents in the middle of the living room floor would be a no deal.
Do you any idea on price.
Hi Myles!!! We kinda love this one! Can you tell us what the dry weight is and what the uhm GWhatever weight is?
That info is available on screen @2:53
Beautiful.
Luv this! Rose to top of my list!!!! Is there a medicine cabinet in either bathroom behind mirrors?
Personally love the colour of the couches, also love the big wrap around kitchen, for me with the stairs, it then is more likely to stay my own work space, which I like, plenty of bench workspace and the two tone cabinets very attractive, yes a dishwasher would be nice, but still, probably would be my top two kitchens I have seen in RV's. Great half bath, would try and see if somehow I could get a shower in there? Like to see all controls behind a door. Love the double vanity and huge walk in closet with washer dryer close to bathroom and out of bedroom. All round great option
Very nice!!
Thanks for watching!
Would it be possible to convert 1/2 bath into power wheel chair bath,? Lower counter with no storage underneath. And raised toilet?
Is the LED lighting dimmable and can you change the color?
Miles do you know of anyone who makes a big front or rear kitchen like this AND a bunk or extra room? Im a chef and love these big kitchens but want my little man to have his own space as well and can’t find anything like that.
Can I hey swap out for a smaller adjustable bed and end tables below for cpap equipment? What is the price on this unit?
Can you show it closed? It helps to see road mode.
WHAYS IN THE CORNER SPACES OF THE UNDER CABINETS IN THE KITCHEN - USUALY IT WILL GO ALL THE WAY BACK TO THE WALL (SOMETIMES THEY WILL PUT A GABAGE SHOOT ECT.. ) BUT ITS CLOSED OFF IN THIS MODEL. wHAT IN THOSE AREAS ?
Do you have a queen bed option to make more side room?
Do the storage areas underneath lock?
Everything is very appealing with a few exceptions:. I do not nor does my husband like bowl on top sinks in the bathroom. We both like slide in seating in dining room and NOT the separate chairs. Can those things be changed?
Montana only has one sink option. But you would not be the first person to remodel sinks in an RV if you want to do that. And I’m not sure what you mean by “slide in seating” but you can put whatever furniture you want in their that will fit
Did you have the RSMP on the Montana 3901rk?
I like that one.
I still like the Solitude 390RK much better. Similar in design, but the features in the Solitude have more appeal to me.
My wife and I are going back and forth between the 390RK and this one. I wish GD would change the color up a bit! I hoping Brinkley will come out with a rear kitchen
Very interested!
