I really appreciate the detailed videos you produce. My husband wants a toy hauler, but I’m trying to talk him into this model or the new Keystone Montana 3901rk. How can I do a comparison on the rear trays? Opening size, tray length and width? Thanks … keep up your hard work.
Hi Myles. I'm looking to purchase an RV around end of April. When can I come in and speak with you at your dealer in Dallas? I'm looking for something exactly like this. A washer and dryer connections is a Necessity.
@@mylesrv do you have some with washer and dryer connections that I can look at in person? I looked at a couple from Mclains but the model that I was interested in did not have W/D connections.
Re: partial split sink I actually love it!! So I’m someone who generally HATES split sinks. I do a lot of baking, and a TON of cooking. Split sinks never allow for soaking large pots or pans, and split sinks make hand washing dishes much more difficult. For that reason, I much prefer a full basin farmhouse style sink. Having said all that, I find the low split to be a really thoughtful design choice. It gives the option to separate some dishes from others, or to have dirty dishes in one side and clean water or whatever in the other side- both of which are convenient. But most importantly- it provides the necessary width needed to get pots and pans with long handles, sheet trays and other bakeware fully into the sink. That helps to eliminate most of the splashing and spilling. It also lets a larger sheet pan sit in the sink without blocking the drain, which in my opinion is the biggest drawback to a farm style sink. It truly is the best of both worlds!
This is the unit/model my wife and I intend to purchase, hopefully in the not-to-distant future. I absolutely love this RV! It has everything I want and need in a 5th wheel. One thing you failed to show was the six drawer dresser in the master bedroom has a flip-up top with a lined storage to keep valuable items like jewelry, wallet, hand guns, etc. A neat feature. Nice job and I'm really enjoying all your videos!
Hey Myles I really love this Grand Design 390RK it is ab amazing fifth wheel. The interior is awesome the colors an setup is just amazing. Thank you for what you do.
Nice Floorplan. A few kinks to work out but nice. Wish it had a half bath and wish the stove was in the center island. And I'd put a desk in place of the door side sofa. Oh and a bigger living are TV and dishwasher. THEN it be a real home for me☺️
Love this, but it needs a half bath! Also love bathrooms in the back so it’s bigger! Vessel sinks a must. 1/2 bath in hallway, not off kitchens. Should have wider slide for king bed and get rid of those “armrest” type “nightstands”. Soooooo tacky for full time living. Also should have soft close drawers and cupboards as a must. Myles, you’re a star!!!!! Love your ideas and you!!! Also need bronze finish options instead of just black.
You are going to LOVE the 2023 Montana 3901RK! I’ll have a full video of it soon and it is also shown in my new 2023 Keystone RVs video that I uploaded this week.
@35:50 What man decided it was a great idea to put a MASSIVE window directly across from the bathroom door lmao! 🤣🤣🤣 I mean yeah- obviously there are shades but still haha, I’d have to tint that window so there’s no chance of someone on the outside seeing me if I forget to pull down the shade on my way to/from the shower lol!
It looks like those holes on the kitchen table were supposed to have pop-up outlets installed in them. If you're interested in this RV, don't screw Myles out of his commission. Sales is a cut-throat business and I know this from personal experience. If you just go in and tell another person that you saw this rv on youtube and are interested in buying it because of this video, the person will likely keep that info to themselves after assuring you that Myles will get his share of the commission. So, just fill out the form if you're interested so we can keep getting these awesome videos. Listening to Myles try and pronounce Rockford Fosgate is just too much fun for it to end.
I know it’s trendy to not have a table and chairs but I’d rather have one and it always puts me off, it’s a shame when they do it in the ones with big kitchens
I’ve research a ton of RV”a this year the resin a lot of them are doing that is because more and more families are full timing and the would rather have the sleeping, storage or desk space. So they started doing the little bar stool or counter top eating option. But I like a dinette too. I’m moving forward with the bonus room office option. It’s so nice to look at all the different ones though 😉
I love the 390RK but there's no WAY I'm paying anything close to that sticker. I know we expect discount off the sticker, but we paid so much less for my Alliance 370FB and lack none of the luxury of this GD. wow...
Nobody is paying the sticker price for an RV. The sales prices are always below what the MSRP. But the Alliance model does not have the rear storage tray like this Solitude which does cost a lot to construct and build and models with that exterior storage cost a bit more than units without it.
Hey Miles if you ever get a chance, is it possible for you to get a total measurement of the slide out tray plus the space up in front of it? I'm wondering if I would be able to fit a 12 ft kayak in there if I remove the netting? It's hard to tell on camera how much space is in front of the tray. Thanks in advance.
I don’t have this RV on my lot in Mesquite, TX where I’m currently at to measure it, but if you text me or go to my inquiry form and are trying to purchase this RV and that’s all you need to know to make a decision, I promise I will find a way to figure out the exact measurement for you.
I am seriously looking into find the Montana fifth wheel I am so in love with though I like to correspond with you a little bit more on those Montana so can you send me a website where I can correspond with you on that
Why are they so expensive? I’m assuming the insurance is a lot. After all it’s on the road and anything can happen to it. I agree there is not enough dining area to entertain.
Gorgeous living room..Huge and comfortable, huge kitchen.... but it stops there with the 2 seats for dining.... it's a terrrible design... especially if you like to have family and friends over... 2 seaats for eating??? Really???? 👎
You can definitely tell GD is in the cookie cutter business now. They leave alot of little things out like soft close cabinets, interior color choices, built in wifi on the roof, standard solar panels on the roof, same old suspension and crappy tires etc. Rockwood includes all of that standard and that's why we're looking at them seriously. Really wanted a GD but imho they are over priced and anyone who has been doing serious research like myself knows there are better built campers with better features and options for way less money. Just one more example, no max air fan in the bathroom instead they give you that little $20 fan in a $150,000 RV? Sorry GD but I'm not buying it.

Ah, this is right up my alley, a luxury one bedroom apartment on wheels.

Great layout!
I know it’s trendy to not have a table and chairs but I’d rather have one and it always puts me off, it’s a shame when they do it in the ones with big kitchens
I was just thinking the same thing. Maybe take out the couch right inside the front door and replace it with a table and chairs.
On the non residential fridge model they have an option to remove a couch right inside the door and add a table.

The microwave has awkward placement when cooking. It would be better to be above the stove. Love the kitchen space in spite of that.
Beautiful 5th wheel. Let me know when the price comes down 🤣😂
We have 2022’s that are less than the 2023’s! That’s your best chance at a lower price right now! Here to help when you’re ready.

Where is the outside propane connect?
Doesn’t seem like a great place for your water food up, going to have a hose right by the door?

Other than small stylistic changes, what are the MAJOR changes on this 2023 vs 2022 models?
So far there have been no major changes from 2022 to 2023. They may roll out more changes through September and October
