- We took Onyx's Midwest Modified out for the first time this year. Zach hopped in the seat to shake it down and make sure things felt good with it. Overall, it went pretty well, but the mod was less than impressive.

we had a local dirt track here in my home town for years... i worked there as a teen keeping it up for races and running concessions... i miss it... for sure...dirt track racing is a life..... some people live it... some never will...
Beer just doesn't taste the same without track dirt in it

Perfect slide job
Back in the 70s I used to go to the races in Jamestown, ND and a few times in Fargo and Aberdeen. I think the circuit included the I94 track but not sure. The driver names I remember from back then include Ernie Bookins, Bob Simmers and Jack McDonald in late models (I think, maybe modified). Also my neighbor, and little league teammate, Brad Boyer with a street stock.

Kind of like the suspension was bouncing and robbing you of gaining a better forward motion pretty much all the track. The engine revs spoke pretty loud on that subject as well. Good driving just gotta get some of dat cool running's happening with that suspension issue.
A local driver bought Greenbush; they are hoping to be open on the 29th of June.

I would have thought you'd start closer to the front after winning your heat. Did they do a redraw? There's a lot good racers coming out of your neck of the woods. Tuff competitors! Good luck to both of you going forward.
It goes by previous point averages, and ours was decent, which hurts our starting positions

Was the front end pushing on ya ,seemed like in the later stages of the race the front end wasn't staying down when you set it into the turn, looked like the front right wasn't holding for you ? Track go away or was the front right heating up as well?

Guessing you used up the tires in the heat race. It's definitely hard when you get your butt kicked and don't know why. You will get em next time.
I don't know anything about dirt track racing. Wondering if you might spend a little time talking about the cars. what are the different classes of cars, why the cars are shaped the way they are? why the top slants? stuff like that

Compared to the mods in the in the Super dirt car series ( the series that Stewart Friesen races when he isn’t racing the nascar truck series) you guys are small block mods?
I-94 is tough (single lane) usually, unless they rip it up halfway through the night like they did for WoO late models. Good luck next week!

Say Zach if you wanna get more Hp try using E3 plugs. I tried them on a dyno motor an got 10hp more just with plugs.

Went from IMCA hoosiers to USRA American Racers and I gotta say, hoosiers are a scam lol. Them things get hot and turn to concrete. Them American Racers are unbelievable.. sad IMCA and Wissota force those shitty tires upon drivers.. they get hot and are immediately steer tires only gets expensive having to get two new tires every night...
