Sorry, but telegram is so much secure, they have mt-proto encryption and backups are encrypted in telegram clouds. Whatsapp backups are stored on your device/cloud service and they are not encrypted. This sounds like a payed review because you said things that telegram do best that whatsapp does better 😂. Just because you use another type of encryption it does not mean that is not secure

It is more like a info commercial pro Whatsapp and NasIO than a fair comparative. Please, Whatsapp is not secure because the client side is closed source and the companies behind ir are not clear. On the other hand Telegram have independent founding and the person behind it is visible, and more important it is opensource the client side. Telegram is more transparent and secure than Whatsapp
i used mostly on whatsapp, but i can't hate telegram on how smooth and fast the apps is, especially when you download/uploading content it's so much faster than whatsapp

If hadn't mistaken, you never raise the failure of WhatsApp. If you lose your mobile, your previous chats will be lost unless you took backup frequently. Very Sad, I lost messages on WhatsApp over a year. Tnx

Sound like paid review. For me, the only downside for Whatsapp is their storage consuming. Even though I disable the option not to save media in gallery. They do not, but they did. Not in gallery but in Whatsapp image folder (or video or any type of file). And if you delete them in your storage, the media in whatsapp also lost ofc. Just imaging if you have at least 10 active group sending picture average 30 jpg per week. 128GB of memory will load out!
Unlike Telegram, it allow user to delete media in the phone but still remain in the server. That's the only thing that Telegram win that you didn't mention. On the downside, it do not have end-to-end encryption but, client-to-server encryption doesn't sound any less to me.
Want to know a thing? 60% of whatsapp features are copied from telegram: stickers, bots, channels, backups, video message and more, also remind that if you make a backup with whatsapp your encryption is gone

U can use one account on two devices by linking your account on your main device to secondary device. Use the "link device option in the menu"

My main concern with Telegram is privacy. Telegram does not have end to end encryption and by default messaging is not private.
I hate WhatsApp because it's a Meta property. However, the end to end encryption is worth having.
Even Better, Telegram have beyond End2End encription in secret chats, in the other chats you have cloud encription
