I designed the Baby Phat So In Style dolls after Stacey left the company!
(Trichelle was sold with the second car with the flat purple hubcaps.)I also did the character illustrations on the side of the boxes too!

I love what you did to Chandra ♥♥♥ So in style... will look into them for sure. First one I spotted is $125 I mostly like the ones that are looking to the side because that's different for Barbie. i think I have Grace's mold for a different Barbie.

It is SO important to see yourself in your dolls. Mattel could definitely redo this line; we have Elle, Jon, Tamika, Claudette as well as Mbili now and different body types. It would be so educational too. If I had kids, I would have wanted them to learn about different cultures/fashions/styles.

I know in the early 90’s there was a black doll line called Shani. I had all the sculpts. Kitty Black Perkins created them. I miss them.

I’m not so sure like I mentioned in the video, but I think their hair verys from one to the other depending on the line! I have yet to see one with bad quality so either way it’s a plus in my book 🙂↔️💕

I have the four sis dolls the lighter ones are still in the their boxes and the darker ones i took out and posed them with JLS dolls a black boy group and i have three others in three skintones from dark to middle skintone and light skin tone i never took any of them out of the boxes thier mint condition i bought them when they came out and out of direct sunlight i had a side glancing in your skin tone dressed in peach and accents of gold with lip gloss with the doll in a semi oval clear box and brown hair some other doll collector bought her off me as she had been looking for her she made me an offer i couldn't refuse but she went to a good home and and the new owner has her still in the box i forgot to mention the doll had rooted eye lashes
