At 79, the man is still kickin' it. God bless him.

Every time he's performed this number on stage, he's touched many hearts by doing so. I always get a bit emotional in the _WHERE'S MY BADGE_ part. That's probably because I think of George or their beautiful friendship. Long live the greatness!

I've always been a massive fan of Clapton and in my opinion as a multi instrumentalist myself; Cream are (in terms of musicianship) the greatest band of all time. Eric, Jack and Ginger were all at the very top of their game as individual musicians; but as a 3 piece group they were on another planet. They introduced a new sound as they blended the blues Eric was dedicated to playing at the time, with a deep psychedelic rock sound, it was Ginger Bakers pure genius and real understanding of time that gave Creams music the heavy sound.
I find this video hard to watch though, I was going to go to this concert but I'm glad I didn't now. I find it hard to watch because the greatest guitarist on the planet for the last 60 years, is now being carried and the intricate solos that Clapton should playing are now being played on a keyboard, and now Clapton is just playing the basic chords. I don't want to remember him like this, so glad I didn't go.

He lets the music do the talking, what would you want him to say that hasn't already been said anyway

He’s never had a rapport with his audience. Saw him years ago at the NEC and the best we got was “Thank you” after every song. That was it, absolutely nil communication. Kind of soured the night for me.

His job is to play and sing not discuss politics and waffle to the crowd

I guess any fans he did have that were jewish or Israeli wont be buying any of his music now. Also, quite a dangerous thing to do. You could make a point about hoping for peace etc and not isolate your audience

Sad to see .. going through the motions & playing karaoke versions of what were once great songs.

Surprised That he Is Allowed Back In Birmingham After His Rant On 5th August 1976, and as for the Palestine Guitar.. This Man is a Hypocrite.
