OP SORLOCK Sorcerer / Warlock Build Guide: Baldur's Gate 3

- Here is an OP SORLOCK Sorcerer / Warlock Multiclass Build Guide in Baldur's Gate 3. I add in 4 classes which seems like a lot but this is very powerful. In BG3 we get utility from the Wizard with only one level and the tempest cleric also gives us heavy armor. The additions these classes bring to the Sorcerer / Warlock multiclass is massive. We get a lot of powerful spells alongside the ever famous eldritch blast. This is somewhat multi attribute dependant but we minimize that with heavy armor.
This build is extremely powerful!!

Bro threw together the most broken sorcerer build. And you don’t really lose chain lighting by not going 11 levels on sorcerer because you can take Lorroakins staff already by that point
@@Jellysfrickingstuff It’s busted how strong this combination is. It has everything, lots of sorcerery points, eldritch blast, heavy armor, scribing 5 wizard spells
@@JasonDunna definitely lmao I started a new run and I might skip out on the cleric tho. I like taking a level in bard for story gameplay
@@Jellysfrickingstuff bard dialogue is certainly the best. Selune cleric gets a ton of extra dialogue too! With Shadowheart and isobell but also in a ton of other areas
Every time I finish a run, another build goes up, so another run to test what you post :) amazing and inspirational!
I’m so happy to hear you enjoy them! If you ever have a request or idea please let me know :)
Eldritch blast go brrrrrr
Seriously so powerful. I love that it scales off of character level
I actually just got done doing a Gish/githyanki lore friendly run a d it was actually pretty cool game play wise. 1 Cleric (religion choose Vlaakith/ act 3 respec and change to Tiamat), 2 Paladin, 2 Warlock, and the rest in Sorcerer. 👌 Loved it
Gear can be challenging, but it's a fun play
That’s an interesting one! I like it! Smites, eldritch blast and all the goodies from cleric and sorcerer
one of my character uses Rogue thief Sorlock build, it focuses on dealing damage with edritch blast, attacking for 3-4 turns(200+ dmg on averange). and then with the help of my controller casting hold monster/person it'll huge damage like smith paladin. sounds repetitive but i suggest you should try it.
Eldritch blast builds are fun! What made you decide on rogue thief, I’m curious
So something I found out messing with multiclassing the reason shield wasn’t showing as already known is because the other one is using cha it’s just a weird little programming thing probably but it was killing me cause I had to keep respecing lol
Ahhh yes that makes sense. Funny because it doesn’t use charisma or intelligence or any spell casting modifier so you’d think they’d be the same. Some spells appear that way some don’t, strange!
Hey just checkin in!
Heeey Arlyn hope you’re doing well :)
I love your guides! Have you ever done a bard sorcerer multiclass?
6 Lore Bard + 6 Draconic or Storm sorcerer. That is the best split i have heard other players frequently use.
Here is an acid sorcerer lore bard focusing on hunger of hadar!

I do plan on doing another one soon since it is such a fun class combination
@@thomasrosendahl2783 Thanks, I'll have to try it!
@JasonDunna Thanks, I wanted to try something new with bard!
Great build! A query. Shouldn't you have taken Wizard earlier in your build as item DCs are based on the Stat of the last class you got 1st level in or have I misunderstood things? So Sorcerer followed by Wizard then Cleric (or vice versa) and finally Warlock so item DCs are based off your highest Stat which is Charisma.
Yeah the item DC is confusing as it’s a visual bug that says it scales off X stat when it shouldn’t. Larian is fixing it probably in next patch but yeah taking warlock after the others is probably the best until this is fixed
*sighs*
>create new game
Muahahaha that’s music to my ears!
Level 6 of a Tempest Cleric adds a pushback to call lightning which also causes targets hit to fall prone.
Oh yeah that’s solid, I would rather build around tempest and sorcerer with that build though. I added tempest just for heavy armor and the reaction
minor note for anyone thinking about hold person: you can twin spell it (im still level 5 so not sure if anything changes). ive been torturing my enemies so far >:) can always respec or w/e later
You can upcast it too to save your sorcery points!
@@JasonDunna options in top of options
Losing the chain lightning Is painful though before u get the legendary staff
I knowww thats the only downside of a warlock with a caster, less spell slots
Cool build. I personally would skip the Cleric dip and go 2 Wiz instead, either Abjuration for Arcane Ward/defense or Evocation for Sculpt Spells so you can blast your AOEs without risking annihilating your companions. You don't need heavy armor on a Sorlock build since Potent Robe is your best friend paired with Eldritch Blast, and if you go Draconic White you'll be pretty hard to kill anyway. If you take the Dual Wielder feat, you can take advantage of the nice extra gifts you get from wielding 2 staffs (or other weapons). I also would take the 2 level Warlock dip last so your DC is back to CHA. Make Gale a heavy-armored Cleric/Wiz for utility and secondary DPS (and summoner) and you're set.
Dual stat sticks is always fun, I like the free cast staves, and getting kereska’s favor from the Markoheshkir is unreal. Potent robe is pretty awesome but even a level of tempest cleric for the lightning reaction and heavy armor can be nice. Either way works since BG3 isn’t toooo hard to beat
@@JasonDunna The great thing about BG3 is that you can play it to your liking and just have fun. I personally love having two casters, the Sorc focused on pure DPS and the cleric/wiz backing up and adding heals and utility to the party.
TBH, BG3 isn't too hard to beat thanks to the web and YT. If you had to play it blindly like BG2 in the old days, it would be way more difficult to master (I remember well the many times I got stuck back then). Besides that, you would miss a lot of content due to the choices you can make. And items.
Anyway, I absolutely enjoy your content. Best of luck with your channel! Cheers from Italy.
This is the one
This build is crazy strong! Gets pretty much everything you need between heavy armor and tons of spells
what are the robes your character is wearing?
Wavemothers robe! It’s really good with lightning/cold builds because it gives a level 4 create water spell
Actually, if you are starting as sorcerer, then you don’t get heavy armour proficiency by multiclassing into tempest cleric. If you want the heavy armour proficiency from the tempest cleric, then you have to start at tempest cleric.
Edit: Nevermind. I have misspoken because tempest cleric is a subclass so you still get heavy armour
You don’t get it if you switch to fighter but the tempest cleric heavy armor is a subclass feature so you do get it by adding it. You can see me equip it at the end and still be able to cast spells, don’t know if you watched the whole video
Eh….better to just pass on the warlock levels. Take cleric and wizard to level 2, get level 6 spell slots for summon myrmidon and you can learn chain lightning from scrolls.
@@alexw4482 that is another powerful build! I wanted to make this one for people who enjoy eldritch blast, but keeping full spell casting level is nice
Also as a addition you can have proficiency with any weapon you like and have it go off from Charisma and you can't be disarmed.
That’s true! With a build like this our weapon is eldritch blast or cone of cold but if you want to have a weapon that’s a good choice
I find Arms of Hadar to be a rather dangerous spell to use cause if you have your other party members or allies in a fight that are close to you. You can accidentally harm them with it.
Yeah I wouldn’t use it often but it’s an okay spell to take
