Sony has a record of not sharing their ip with xbox. Last time they had kratos in mk he was a PS exclusive. Wouldn't make sense to do it again

Enjoy them until they started flooding their DLCs with them. It used to be exciting to have a solid DLC roster of returning characters and new ones then BOOM at the end a cool
Guest character is revealed. It felt like an event. Now we have the roster as these fools. I won’t be surprised if we have a DLC pack that’s entirely made of guest characters one day. Don’t get me started on cyrax and sector, it feels like a disservice to both those who want more female inclusion. “Oh you want more women on the roster, here just take some gender bent original characters snd shut up”. What a slap in the face.

I pretty much agree with u on this, noob is up there for my favorite mk character so I'm very glad he's coming back, cyrax and sektor feel a lil lazy but they're still cool characters so I'm sure they'll work out good, and t1000 is also pretty badass. Ghostface and Conan are the lowest for me but I have more hope for ghostface than Conan

I mean its a retcon according to the MK1 universe. Raiden isn't a thundergod and is instead a farmer. Tarkat is a disease instead of a race of people. Mileena is an actual blood relative of Kitana instead of some genetic experiment created by Shang Tsung. Kuai Liang is Scorpion instead of Hanzo. Shao Khan isn't the ruler or outworld with corrupted Sindel by his side. He is a war general lackey who is under a benevolent version Sindel.
Also just FYI, Cyrax and Sektor have always just been humans in a robot suit. It's literally apart of their bios in their first appearances in MK3. Next time don't try to act clever or smug and just do the typical NPC "gender swap is the worst" like everyone else.
@@angelstyle9677they were cyborgs in the original, now they are not cyborgs, instead they are humans in a suit like iron man. They look nothing like cyrax and sektor except for the colors. This looks like an off brand. They don’t look intimidating. Looks like a Barbie iron man, rather than a cyborg ninja.
I really hope noob isn’t like a pirate or something. Wasn’t really feeling ermacs zombie design choices. More importantly the demon animations are kind of weak overall for ermac, the idea is cool but the green monster animations are funky looking

It’s kinda cool that Cyrax and Sektor aren’t cyborgs but they’re people with suits. I especially like the blend with traditional clothes and cyber armor on Sektor.

NRS really liked the Ghostface mod so much.
That image of Ghostface looks oddly VERY similar to his appearance in COD. Noob looks like a fkin dork, Cyrax and Sektor designs are kinda odd and two wasted slots...
Watch the trailer. The new Sektor and Cyrax look pretty sweet. Great visual design, the female characters work, and the redesigned moves look pretty amazing. Noob is absolutely Bi-Han and the costume looks really good in action. I'm still hesitant on this mix of characters for the guest dlc, but the trailer is super promising.

Yeah MK went batty with basically everything. I'm honestly slightly disappointed they didn't choose Bubsy or Earth Worm Jim as guest characters, because why not? Bring back Boogerman!
Its already MK1 without being the first MK - filled with superheroes that have nothing to do with Mortal Kombat, and girl/boy Cyrax's on the screen at the same time. Hopefully we catch a "stop dead naming me!" line in one of the intros, because why not?

Im guessing Kung Jin with that dope redesign will be in the next Kombat pack or something, was really hoping for him. Only way I’ll be excited for Conan is if he’s a mix of nightwolf and Kotal in some way, Ghostface is probably guaranteed a sento like stance with the “2nd killer” and I don’t even know a reference for T-1000. I’ve never really cared for noob so he’s whatever and I’m very very interested to see how they handle Ms. Sektor & Cyrax (possible slight name changes to fit the ladies? lol). My only hope for kameos is if they bring Jaq and Cassie back, PLEASE make them cameos. I don’t feel like dealing with them again lol
I think Cyrax and Sektor move sets will be sickest.
More recently, Ghostface has used a shotgun so he could have that, or he could be an ambush character using other variants of ghostface as his moves, similar to how noob uses his clones.

2 things will make Ghostface go from a shit pick to GOAT pick for me. His combos include every Ghostface, and he has the Scary Movie 2 mask for his gear

Cyrax and Sektor just looks like they’re trying to get some boxes checked. But because they’re in the game now, I can’t help but feel like they’re going to be watered down versions of themselves because they have Kameos… just watch. They won’t have their same special move set.

My favorites are definitely Ghostface (cuz I love the Scream franchise) and T-1000. Conan is a bit of an odd pick but I have a feeling he might have a similar move set to Kotal Khan in MKX/MK11.

The only thing I’m upset at is the lack of 3D or NRS era MK characters, but hopefully kombat pack 3 will be entirely comprised of them. Also, still no female guest characters unfortunately, I’d actually rather have Red Sonja than Conan tbh.
