Actually all Minnesota "needed" to do, was play out of their mind, get an improbable and even more lucky scoop and score, just to prevent not losing by 13
Yeah honestly if you watch the game there were sooooo many opportunities that the lions missed and probably would've still won if we didn't have that bone headed play at the end of the half with the kicking team at the half. That's why I'm not really worried tbh
You can say that for all the teams one or two plays here and 20 of the teams would have a different record. The difference is they made the plays and the others didnt
Yep, the entire point of the game against the Vikings and the game against the Texans was that any other year the Detroit Lions lose those games, this year they haven't. The game against the Texans was crucial too because Hutch was already gone and Smith hadn't played yet.
15pts per game average margin of victory. Keep calling Goff trash while he is constantly doing things so impressive they are writing his name in the NFL history books.
The Vikings were no. 1 in their division and undefeated when the Lions came to their place and won, the cardinals are the current leaders of their division and the Lions beat them on the road too, and the Texans are leading their division and the Lions beat them on the road with an impressive comeback. This team is solid as concrete and can win anywhere.
Not scared of Stafford. Did well in his Super Bowl run. But check his record. He loses all the time to winning teams. N it isn’t even close. Eagles are the biggest threat.
I agree with Florio. As a Lions' fan, I don't want to see the Rams come to Ford Field for a playoff game. So the Eagles better take care of business this Sunday, though honestly I don't think they will in LA on SNF. And all of this positive talk about the Eagles? They lost five of their last six regular season games last season and then lost in the wild card round. I don't trust them to finish strong.
If, if, if…can we play that game on the other side too? If the ball bounces a different way, Minnesota loses to the Jags, the Jets and the Packers. Some can be said about Philly with the Browns, Commnders and Jags. Btw, no one on the Lions or Detroit Media is saying Lions are a lock. They fear no team but respect them all. Please, please please…keep talking about the Lions flaws. Keep talking about how tough it will be to win this division. Respect is earned and not given and Dan Campbell and the Lions welcome all comers so they can earn the respect.
Florio the phony Vikings fan. It took Dungy to balance this sht show and point out how close they played the Lions. If Florio shows up at a Vikes game, he should be booed out of the stadium. 😈
Your bias is showing. What teams are chomping at the bit to play Detroit? I'll bet Stafford would prefer anyone else. Lions starters were playing together, live for the first time this season. They didn't shake rust off till games 3/4. They were good enough to take 2 of 3 and haven't looked back. 5 interceptions: the 2 tips are statistics, not a streak; 3 would've been a great punt; 4 was miscommunication; 5 was a bad pass. I guess my bias is showing.
I mean it's whatever. Crazy to call a fanbase soft and entitled after being through 0-16 in 2008. I'm just enjoying this awesome season cause I'm just a chill guy.
He's not talking about Detroit. Detroit is the most hardened, gut-wrenched, Winning Football Starved fanbase on the Planet! And will Bite your Kneecaps off if you get in their way! Must be talking 'bout Green Bay!

Same thing when they played the Packers in Lambeau field. Lions were up 24-3 but the final was 24-14 because Packers scored in garbage time.
If the Detroit lions don’t get to the Super Bowl this year they will get there another year great people running the organization.
Bahahahahaha that’s what every team that is good thinks.
Do you think any teams want to play Detroit in the playoffs?

Love the argument that the Lions almost lost a game so the stink.

As a native Detroiter I understand coaches cautious optimism for our Lions. I don't like that everyone has them going to the Super Bowl already
It's all about how the Lions play, the opponent doesn't matter.
Wrong. Multiple teams are more talented.

Once I see how Detroit handles the Bills, I'll hold judgement.
Almost don’t count Florio…
You take your scary butt on to Minnesota with that scary crap…
Detroit, we built different 💪🏾
We will bring our A game just like everyone else.
That being said, so far our A game is better than every other teams.
Chiefs win 7 one score games and no question how good they are but lions win 2 and are vulnerable makes total sense.
