This whole season is a revenge tour for how last year ended. I knew Dan would take that and use it to push this team to a whole other level. They're on a mission to finish it off this year.
I hadn't thought about it before, but no wonder Florio has always hated on the Lions. He grew up a Vikings fan in the 1970s, when Detroit lost 13 in a row to Minnesota and 17 out of 20. Seeing us actually being good has to be very difficult to believe.
i was seriously beginning to wonder if WCF made a deal with Rozelle for the Detroit franchise to serve as a sort of undesignated 'Washington Generals' - a weekly patsy for the league, in exchange for a promise to never move the franchise and Ford provides unending source of ad revenue for the league to assure its continued relevance.
Pin the gas to the floor dude. Don't let anyone get cold before the playoffs either, even if it just has to be like the preseason - let the first string play a quarter or two
These are still football players that want to play football at the end of the day. I'm sure they have personal goals and I commend dan, a former player, letting his players play
His motto for the season is “it takes more.” I think Campbell finds it more important to project that message in everything he says and does, bc the team is going to need that mentality much more than it needs even its best starters. So pulling starters in the 3rd seems the wrong message for training the following week. Look at Philadelphia’s losing streak last year for when a team is healthy but missing its gritty mentality. It didn’t end in a Super Bowl.
No coach is a perfect cyborg. Dan doesn't like to sit starters....ever. The same way he doesn't like to punt. You can get mad every time he does it or doesn't do it, or you can accept that he's a great coach whose philosophy differs a little. I was furious when we lost to San Fran, it's hard to accept.
This is how I know this dude don't know football cuz when Lions had dave krieg in 94 it was a great year alot better than with scott Mitchel imo. Mitchell was NOT good .
Stop for a moment and think about what would be said if Goff would have gotten hurt when they were up by 30+ late in the 3rd quarter / 4th quarter. And how many times have we seen that happen before and watch a good team go down when games mattered the most. If health is not that big of a concern, then why do teams not play their starters in the preseason when they really want to develop some type of offensive rhythm ?
Exactly, I'm just another fan still trying to prepare myself for the same old Lions trauma but my brain still says when we were beating down the Cowboys if we had pulled Hutch.... when we were beating down the Jaguars if we had pulled Anzo... I know real life doesn't work like that but it's hard not to think it
Don't forget, Mike Florio said the Lions missed their SB window when the season started.
Nope, you have the wrong Mike, it was Mike Greenberg, who said that. Nevertheless, it was said and idiotic.
I am also a Florio and I say they're gonna make it. There, I canceled him out :)
I agree with Dan, nobody in the NFL is pulling starters at the start of or mid 3rd quarter. Nobody. This isn’t high school or college.
We got beat in the playoffs by San Francisco so we finishing teams this year.
No more leaving it up to the refs, no close calls, just get er done 🦁
All facts

You can’t anticipate an injury like anzo and hutch. Sucks but it happens and pulling starters doesn’t always mean you’ll be safe.
My fantasy football team thanks you for not pulling starters early
Mine lost because of it...

He never passes up an opportunity to undermine their success.
he hates lions. i always look up lions on pft, minimal coverage. He refuses to cover them unless he has to and even then, pretty negative
The last offensive drive started in the 3rd quarter. Let them finish the drive. Then pull them. I called the timing. Because the timing was correct.
I’m gonna trust Dan Campbell over anyone else. He’s shown that he knows his team.
Lions have over 70 years of disrespect to handout. Enjoy the show!
I definitely am, I be going hard with the hit that 60 on them mofos 😅
@jamalbooker9562 💯!!!
It feels good that the Lions are the bullies of the block now. No Mercy 🦁

Florio’s insight is amazing.
Where did he coach, again?
My father is smiling down on the team! He was Born in Detroit!
I love how we're arguing over when exactly the LIONS should pull their starters out when they're too far ahead to lose 😂🎉🦁
Anzalone was injured in the 2nd quarter anyway. Not even worth mentioning that injury if we're talking about pulling starters with a lead.
We use to ask when to be ch starters when getting beat by 40. Now we are asking when to pull starters when winning by 40. Im here for it
Pin the gas to the floor dude. Don't let anyone get cold before the playoffs either, even if it just has to be like the preseason - let the first string play a quarter or two
Chris is cool, but man do I love the solo MIke episodes. Bring back Stats too
Even when complementing the Lions Mike can't help but remind everyone how awful the Lions were. Cannot just say they are good. 😂
Tony Dungy is such a gentle soul.
What happens when they’re not as up and your guys aren’t used to playing in the 4th and now they’re gassed. Develop good habits.
Lol
These are still football players that want to play football at the end of the day. I'm sure they have personal goals and I commend dan, a former player, letting his players play
You know, Mike your players could get hurt in the first quarter and be out for the season. I guarantee you that the starters don’t want to sit.
Mike Florio doesn't have a clue
His motto for the season is “it takes more.” I think Campbell finds it more important to project that message in everything he says and does, bc the team is going to need that mentality much more than it needs even its best starters. So many teams fans complain about their coaches letting off the gas. I’m much happier riding with Campbell and his decision making.

Don't pull your starters, just start the backups
FLORIO AKA MINNESOTA VIKING 😆 HE'S HURTING
If the other team does it like it stop it.
Cap .....the division got re-alined...since then🤷🏿♂️
Guys people get hurt in football if you don’t want to risk being hurt play pool 😝Go Lions
NFCCG people.
DUMB TAKES MIKE FLORIO
The Lions sell right now. Gotta say some stupid crap for clicks. Mike is a tsar of stupid crap.
Honestly, who cares what you would have done 😂
This is how I know this dude don't know football cuz when Lions had dave krieg in 94 it was a great year alot better than with scott Mitchel imo. Mitchell was NOT good .
Florio went number one in my fantasy league. Unfortunately the fantasy was who do you most want to see tossed into a wood chipper.

24 hour sports talk needs something to talk about other than how good this team looks. 🙄
Florio is a clown 🤡 that No one is listening too. Dude sucks 😂
Sounds reasonable. As a lions fan though, maybe pull just a little sooner. Not all, but here and there.

@@GreshgoreHutch got hurt in the middle of the 3rd quarter. Anzalone got hurt in the 2nd. What team is pulling their starters at that time
