This reminds me of yesterday cause I saw a grey fox and I got super excited cause my theriotype is a red fox even tho I saw a grey fox I still got really excited
Could you tell me where you got them i have been asking people who know where to find ethically sourced tails and i cant find anyone who will answer i know to not look on amazon but i dont know wjat shoo to look at on etsy or something pls help me
I wish I could get gear😔 My parents are strict Christian’s and when I told them I was a therian they grounded me for an actual month- I just do it whenever I can without them seeing
I’d recommend to try to find a hiding spot for gear, if you have a place you do quads outdoors, try to make a CLEAN AND SAFE place to hide gear. Make sure it isn’t damp, as that can damage gear. It could be bad for the gear but it’s better than nothing. Or, you could get gear and tell them it’s just a costume.
I have Christian parents too, and im scared of them finding out about me being a therian, here's some tips if you'd like, I make my gear out of cardstock, paper, and cardboard, I use tape and hot glue to hold it together, and I make yarn tails, + do quads at parks while being very aware of cars around making sure none are my parents, and if they are, I take gear off, and just sit talking with one of my friends :3 I hope this can help a little for quads and gear
Actually its not as bad as you may think, ethical farms usually use animal corpses that occur naturally or have died after a fulfilling life but you just have to look for them! (Tip, never buy from an aisian store as it is almost always cruel farms over there)
I'm sure you probably figured it out by now, but that "raccoon" is actually a tanuki. They're invasive in Poland so a lot of furs are sourced from there!
Little or big note" Not all real tails are from a cruel farm. Some foxes or wolves die of old age and get their tail cut off like my tail is real, but the fox or wolf died of old age
I use Dakotalinefurs here are there rules😊😊😊😊 At Dakotaline, we believe in following these ethical principles in regards to our products: 1. The existence of the species should not be threatened. A majority of furs are now farm or ranch raised where there is no impact on the wild species numbers. Furs that are collected from the wild are done only in abundant species, and only during government-regulated seasons. Wildlife populations must be culled annually to maintain healthy and stable populations, to preserve habitat, to protect endangered species, and to safe-guard human health, livestock and property. Bottom line, the furs used are abundant and the survival of wildlife species is not threatened. 2. No unnecessary pain or cruelty should be inflicted. North America is the world leader in scientific research to make trapping as humane as possible. This research provided the scientific protocols for ISO standards, Best Management Practices, and the Agreement on International Humane Trapping Standards. Animals raised on ranches are provided with excellent nutrition and care; this is the only way to produce the high quality fur required. They are euthanized in a manner where they are deceased within 5 seconds and do not suffer. Farms in the US are certified by Fur Commission USA while, in Canada, farmers follow codes of practice developed by the National Farm Animal Care Council. 3. The death should serve an important use and not harm the environment. Most synthetic fibers (including fake or “faux” fur) are derived from petroleum, a non-renewable resource, the extraction and transformation of which entails serious environmental risks. If fur-bearer populations must be culled, it is more ethical to use these animals than it is to simply discard them. Fur apparel is also remarkably long-lasting and will eventually biodegrade - important environmental virtues! The animal byproducts are also used to make organic fertilizers, water-proofing materials, bio-fuels, and much more. In short, nothing goes to waste! To sum up, we at Dakotaline believe in satisfying these criteria for the ethical use of animals. We believe in balance, sustainability and the beauty of our world! You can buy with confidence from Dakotaline Furs!
They're taxidermy, which means that the fur has been taken off a dead animal and preserved! The one featured in the video are ethically sourced (as cicada said) so the animals were either found naturally or they were killed in as painless a way as possible.

‼️ATTENTION‼️ Not all taxidermy is cruel. Some are sourced from an animal that was already dead, and did not slaughter the animal themselves.
Where do you get them?:0
Where did you buy the silver tail?
Cicada, If you get them from Etsy, which seller(s) do you purchase from? : 3
Taxidermy looks cool but I hate how the have to murder innocent animals to do it

they said these are ethically sourced, meaning the tails were only removed from dead foxes so they didn’t have to murder them

Where I can buy them ( only from Etsy?)
as a fox therian i hate taxidermiys, its so sad to see a decesed fellow fox being skinned and a decoration, but hey. you do you.
All animals used for taxidermy die naturally and have lived fulfilling lives. People usually buy from taxidermists that ethically sourced.
these weren’t from a cruel fur farm, as stated in the title. all pelts were taken ethically with no harm to the animals while they were alive.
Just saying they were probaly roadkill
@@Newfoundlanddogtherianit’s impossible to supply a shop from roadkill. Most likely a fur farm.

I think they use already dead animals and fake fur…
No, they find them
No, it’s ethically sourced. So it’s from places that aren’t cruel farms, a lot of the time they get them from roadkill.
how do we know that and that their not lying about it@@Shade_paws2736
No, it’s from naturally found animal carcasses. Like roadkill and such.
