Interesting that Orton himself was well aware that becoming world champion in 2004 was WAY too early in his career and he wasn't ready for it in any shape or form. By 2008, it was a different story.
Also, it's hard to believe Orton is only 33 - same age range as more recent guys like Ziggler, Swagger, Sandow, Sheamus, Miz, Ryback, etc. 13 years in WWE have taken it's toll, and he looks 5 years older than he really is.

HHH really pushed for orton for years i think the biggest reason they gave orton the belt at that age was because lesnar was known as the youngest wwe champ so orton became the youngest world heavyweight champion that and because they saw a future in him.

I love Randy for saying those matches can be boring! exactly how I feel. I don't care what's real what's scripted. if it's boring I don't watch. wwe is a show just like any other and I watch shows for entertainment.

his era has been exceptionally boring. guys with basic, unoriginal moves they never change. before Shane came back, it was getting ugly. I always seem to piss people off when I call the RKO the Diamond Cutter

It's kinda funny, I recently watched an interview from Mr. Kennedy where he was talking about the complete opposite of what Randy was talking about here. He said people often got upset when he got his hands up to defend himself because he thought it would be more realistic than just letting someone punch you in the face over and over again. Maybe there was more to him being fired than a botched move. (jk... or am I?)
