I would like to see someone do their best to be able to test tire grip objectively. Like a square plate on a slide hooked to a scale (like a fish weighing scale where a string can be tied to it?). And a set top surface that can be changed like 3000 grit sandpaper to like a flat rock. Then using the same car same weight but only using 1 or 2 on the slide and many different tires and foams. That’d provide hard numbers for a bunch of combos. Always a good watch man. Thanks for all the content.
I get what you’re saying and that’s interesting but I can’t see it really reflecting a dynamic rolling load. The ramp incline I have isn’t very realistic in most situations but I do use it from time to time to check for compound stickiness.
@@ExocagedRCit would definitely reflect grip pretty well I think. It would reflect the grip you get at the edge of traction, when your truck is gripping and slipping just enough to not get over the obstacle
I absolutely love when you do John's line. Thats the type of line I get in my area, rocks with gaps and voids in between. Got some cheat codes coming for both my trucks super excited to try them out.
Like your vids.. Just want to see you also test tires in sand, mud etc..because a lot of us aalso use rigs for trailing instead of rock crawling..so we also want to know how tires perform on other underground.. So it would really put more gys watching your channel.
I love the look of these. They seem like a hybrid of proline tires, actually. At first glance, I thought they were a new Hyrax tire 2.0 😂 or something. To me, they are a mix of Hyrax, Trepador, MT Claw due to the tread direction, Flat iron (my favorite), and a bit of Krawler.
They remind me of Ruptures because of the dimple / pocket in the middle of each nub. I might grab some of these.. Inwas thinking Trenchers or Tusks, cant make up my mind. Lol
Anyone tried these and the proline Baja micky Thompsons , are they better? Because I’ve been using Baja’s out of all the tires out there and I think they are the best by far I’m speaking to a 2.9 size I’m sure they differ in size though.
My rocks are concrete, I wish I had all natural surfaces but I just don’t. This is why I try to hit different obstacles with different surfaces when I do these.
Has to be all the more hot than usual. I'm in southern VA, & we've been in the mid-upper 90's all week. (MY service dog [chihuahua 😜] & I been inside most of the time. If it's hot for me, I can imagine him, & him wearing his winter coat all yr has gotta be crazy!🤦♀️)
I’m glad you still do tire reviews, Joe. I love your tire comparos especially those from previous years. You really got them all tested. 🍻

Thanks for the in depth tire review, I'm going to try a set in my terrain on my channel
Very good choice of truck for a point of reference.

Nice driving Joe! You really put together a great combo with that rig and inserts!
That’s a very good looking truck the red body shape wheels decal etc. nice video thank you

Awesome review, next a comparison vs hyrax? Or km3 mud terrain?
I really like the Azteks. The predator works great wet or dry as long as it’s below 80*
I know some exo inserts are really gonna help with the performance of these tires
We will see. I had a set for them but they got sold. LoL

Just ordered a set
But, how do these do on a box stock truck? Like the Fusion?😁
Well I can try that.
In your own opinion do you think these are comparable to the Milestar Patagonias?
did you make that stand??
The driverstand?
@@ExocagedRC the truck work stand?
What crawling track is that?!
What do you feel are better these or the megalithics?
How tall are they?

It's crazy how all tires work on your course. Half the tires you test barely hold up on our real rocks here in colorado.

Jconcept for the win
Its really about finding what works well for the environment you drive in.

Off topic, but what’s up with the shark frenzy going on around Florida? I keep seeing all kinds of videos of schools of sharks.
