  • Welcome back to Space Engineers on the Xbox, and this one is something I've been wanting to get sorted for a while. Now, thanks to the game's last update, and the Signal Action Relay system I can really go to town with my Solar Detector.
Sit back, strap in, and join me as I walk you through the construction of a Detector Grid, and how to link it across to turn lights on/off during the night/day as well as control lights across other installations within the range of your antenna network.
It should work in space too, only you'll need to provide power to the system via a solar panel and batteries. This can be a bit tricky, since solar panels don't always read correctly with other power producers. So this system is best for planets where you can use turbines.
Ofc, if you have a reactor, then you're fine.
    Enjoy!

You'll be able to find this version at quite a few places, Amazon etc after Oct 1st. The current Kindle Online (Epub) one is the older book and the one you want is via Outland with me as the sole author.
