Isn't this the most wonderful sight anyone has ever seen. i have waited for 70 years to see one and right now all i have to do is go outside my own door. I'm out taking videos every night. entertainment for free and nature at it's very best. i live in the middle of a village and all a lot of the neighbors can do is whinge about them messing everywhere. I wish they would just shut up and see just what is the most spectacular show they will ever see. They will soon be gone now and maybe never return. Thank you for posting this

I live in Sothern Mass. 30 minutes between Providence, RI and Worcester, MA. On top of a hill in the a rare spot of town with a good amount of old pine/oak trees. So we see a lot of migrating birds come by that use the trees to warm up in the morning. Anyway we get flocks and flocks of Starlings this time of year. My dogs always lose it hearing them chirping away and fly from tree to tree. When they finally take off. Usually right after sunrise we have a giant black cloud over the house for a few seconds as they head east. One of my favorite things I get to experience every year.
Then in early January to May we get Pileated woodpeckers!

Difficult to say. They usually do this in the evening just before they settle for the night. It could be that there was a raptor in the area like a sparrow hawk or a peregrine falcon and the moved to another location.

Our billions of body cells cooperate in the same way to form a unique individual identity that is able to make independent decisions and enjoy life.
We should learn from this and organize our society accordingly.

Es una musica tan relajante que te hace evadirte.
Al mismo tiempo el ver el vuelo de los pájaros, esas formas tan suaves y esos cambios de formas tan bonitos, han hecho que en varios momentos me he quedado casi dormido.

Starlings aren't precious. They're invasive aggressive birds that push out native birds and reduce their numbers.
      This is beautiful though.
