Each girl got a solo for their Birthday! On June 30, 2013 was the "Legend 1999" concert (the year Yui and Moa were born) celebrating Yui and Moa's 14th Birthdays (Yui June 20th, Moa July 4th). They both got a Solo song at this concert. Yui got "Chokotto Love" and Moa got "Love Machine". Su-metal had previously also got a special solo, for the Legend D concert, with a song called "White Love" What was special about these three specific solo's was each one had the word "LOVE" in the title and each song was a popular song from the year of their birth!! Soooo much lore that surrounds Babymetal....sooo much Fun!!! Put your Kitsune UP!! Po! P.S. The Yui issue. She left do to an "Undisclosed" health issue. She will not be returning to Babymetal but may come back as her own artist (solo or part of another group) as last word was that she was still signed by Amuse Talent, Inc.
@Михаил Петерсон The whole "Medical Peoblem" excuse for the separation of personal from employers is used widely throughout all levels of business in Japan and Korea with regard to public figures or "talent". It happens in the West as well, though the market for details is so prevalent that secrets relating to the true nature of separations is almost always revealed. It's a cultural thing. Honestly, the way the whole thing was handled by Amuse leads me to absolutely believe that the separation of Mizuno Yui from Babymetal was not a medical problem but rather contractual in nature. But like everyone else, mine ideas on the subject are also just conjecture.
@@LuckyScot444 This seems more likely. Her face was bloated in the last few concerts. Could be due to medication she was taking from her illness or injury. Some say she moved a little slow in her dances and possibly had a back brace of some kind on. Yui is a perfectionist and was proud of her dancing. If she couldnt dance to her own standards then she wanted a break possibly to focus on getting well. Maybe she was embarrassed of looking bloated in the face. She was more shy than Moa. I say she was still super cute even then. I hope we see her with BabyMetal again. Or at least healthy and on her own solo career. Again this is all speculation as no one knows. I just hope she is happy and knows she is missed.
The official Babymetal did Legend XX yesterday it was the first concert that Yui missed. It was very sad but also very cool. The crowd filled in as Yui and did all her lines. Perfectly.
The tune at the start is 'Land of Hope and Glory' - it is British (usurped for school graduations etc in the US I believe). Legend 1999 was a show at the end of June 2013 celebrating Yui's and Moa's 14th birthdays. Yui had this solo - a cover of a song from the year she was born (1999), Moa had her own solo 'Love Machine' also from 1999. These were one-off performances - they each provided backing vocals for the other girl's song and yes, they were probably lip syncing these particular songs. At the Legend D show celebrating her 15th birthday Su covered a song from 1997 called 'White Love'. You keep forgetting the guys in skeleton suits are miming the instrumentals to a backing track - they were called Babybones and were only on stage for the show in the early days. During the period when BABYMETAL were transitioning from being a sub-unit of Sakura Gakuin to becoming an independent band the Kami Band were phased in starting from October 2012 playing the encores in some shows and playing at festival appearances until they finally replaced the Babybones full time early in 2014. What you haven't seen are any of the Black BABYMETAL songs (Yui and Moa as a duo without Su) which, after this show, they did sing live. Those are songs that were on the albums, '4 No Uta' (or 'Song 4') and 'Onedari Daisekusan' on the first album, 'GJ' and 'Sis Anger' on the second.
On the question of Yui's health ... we do not know what was wrong, but it was serious enough to keep her out from December 2017 until her announcement in October 2018. Any theories are foundless guesses based on nothing but peoples' imaginations. The chances of her coming back to BABYMETAL are slim to none regardless of how hard fans might wish or what rumours they might spread. She said in her announcement that she was moving on to follow her own dreams as Yui Mizuno, not as Yuimetal. We can only hope she is well and happy and following her dreams and maybe, if we are lucky, we will get real news of her one day.
Interesting note on the song at the beginning. It has definitely been taken and used for graduations for DECADES here in the states (as well as for the Macho Man Randy Savage's entrance music in the 80's and 90's wrestling). Over here we call it "Pomp & Circumstance" I believe.
@@mr.osclasses5054 It is the first (I think) of the 6 Pomp and Circumstance marches composed by Edward Elgar. The tune was used and words for 'Land of Hope and Glory' were added for King Edwards 7th's Coronation Ode in 1902.
It's been kept a secret for almost 3 years now, nobody will be able to tell you exactly why she had to leave the band appart from her, her family and close entourage (including Amuse). Today we were hoping we would get some kind of news because it was the annual shareholders meeting at Amuse but when a shareholder asked about Yui, the question was completely ignored lol. The last bit of info we've had was at last year's shareholders meeting where they said she had been getting better. And that's it. Almost 3 years with no news, no explanation, no picture, nothing. She might aswell have purely vanished from the planet altogether lol. Good point about Legend S, the video you did last week (No Rain No Rainbow) is a very Historic concert for many reasons. Not only is it the first time Yui was absent, it was also the last time Mikio would play with BABYMETAL before tragically losing his life a mere 2 weeks later. Those were very dark and difficult times for the band and for the fans lemme tell ya. Now I don't necessarily believe in any rumours or theories but it wouldn't be hard to believe Mikio's death could have taken a huge toll on Yui aswell. We know Yui & Mikio were good friends and we also know they both share the passion of stargazing. It would not surprise me that they have been doing that maybe a few times together even. It must have been really hard on her to lose such a dear friend and a good mentor for her. As for your lipsyncing question, Su never does it (I mean if you don't account for the fake screams here and there but thats an unrealistic thing to reproduce live). Yui & Moa sometimes do lipsync. And it's not consistent from one concert to another. So it's hard to give you a definite yes or no answer. In this particular performance, I do believe she's lipsyncing. Remember that before the Kami Band was introduced, they used to not have the budget to hire session musicians and thus used backing music. To answer your question about lipsyncing : yes & no. The best videos are not on RUclips anyway and there you would clearly see wether they lipsync or not. Which leads me to a suggestion. Now that you've done so many BABYMETAL reactions, how about reacting to a whole concert ? I can provide you with links if you want. My first suggestion would be either a shorter one (Metrock) or go directly for one that'll blow you away like Tokyo Dome Red Night or Black Night. Please oh please do that :D. It will answer your questions once and for all.
Imagine when the girls were touring the world with only 14 y.o. and venturing to the unknown, without being able to communicate with anyone and with a lot of people with strange customs around. A good person like Mikio who was always laughing and teaching everyone must have been a very important support for the girls at that time. He even taught Moa to play the guitar a bit (probably that guitar she used at Legend M's Shine on the tribute to him, she looks pretty emotional during the song and is clearly close to cry at the end).
You've had Su solos, Yui solo, you can do Moa solo (Love machine), then Moa and Yui without Su, aka Black Babymetal. There are only 4 songs... Song 4 (4 no uta), Onedari Daisakusen, GJ! And Sis. Anger. Yeah, others already talked about it I know 😂
Some good songs from the new album: Night Night Burn! which has like a latino vibe to it, Oh Majinai! which has the lead singer of Sabaton in it and Shanti Shanti Shanti with a bollywood vibe, all great songs and very different from each other
Next you should react to babymetal historical epic performance “Ijime, Dame, Zettai live at Sonisphere 2014 UK". This is one of the most important show in Babymetal's history. Thanks to this show, babymetal finally received recognition from metal fans and signified their entry into the western metal world. A little story about this show, this was the first time played in a metal festival outside Japan. Actually, on schedule, they would perform in small stage in front of 3 thousand people. But in the end, they were promoted to the main stage, and the girls just knew it later. So instead in front of their loyal fans, the 3 girls in their 14-16 years old must face 50 thousands of metal head. Three girls sang in Japanese, performing a choreography, in a rock festival, in front of true metal fans who never heard babymetal before and will not understand a bit what they will sing about, except maybe a word “chocolate”. And also Babymetal has it's haters among the metal heads. Fears of them being booed and having bottles thrown at them were there. There was a backstage photo of the girls a moment before the show, they looked terrified. You should search the photo and check it out, you can imagine their nervous. Su-metal said in the interview after the show, that before the coming to the stage they were not sure about how will the crowd respond, they were not very confident and very nervous. She also said that at first not many people responded, but as the song went by, people started to throw the fox sign or metal sign. In the end babymetal became the most talked about band in the festival and their merchandise was top seller
All 3 girls are very good singers and performer's from there Sakura Gakuin days where BabyMetals origins are where you will end up eventually the further down the foxhole you go. One day we will find out what was wrong with Yui . The fans want to know but most respect that Yui may not want to make it public . We just hope she makes an appearance so we know she is well and if she does return support her wherever her path takes her . Our tomato princess 🍅🍅🍅🍅🍅 🤘😁🤘
Here is Moametal's solo from the same concert. ruclips.net/video/LpRxI3gYoTg/видео.html As a side note, you must understand that these girls, however young they are, are seasoned veterans of the entertainment industry. They've done acting, commercials, acting school, singing school, and most prominent Sakura Gakuin for 5 years. Regardless of what many may think, Sakura Gakuin is NOT a school. It is a school themed singing group. They have tons of singing and dancing experience. Their Sakura Gakuin shows are 2 to 3 hours long. They have endurance and stamina along with their other talents.
Onedari Daisakusen! React to Onedari Daisakusen!! :D love your videos! About all the Yui stuff, it's a delicate thing lol when she left, they cover her absence with "babymetal lore stuff", and 2018 the girls went super silent, no band interaction whatsoever (no pictures after show etc), also during that time Su and Moa looked super different in stage (all black clothes, no ponytails) Anyways, Yui is still under contract with Amuse (the company that babymetal is part of), this year is the 10th anniversary of Babymetal, and (unlikely as it is), I would LOVE to see Yui return at least for one song. Even though I love the Avengers (the three rotating backup dancers babymetal have now), the chemistry between Yui and Moa on stage was perfect
That song was a little easter egg to let Yui sing a song from 1999 (her year of birth) on her birthday concert. Her singing skills are better appreciated in her singed version of Headbanger for her 15th birthday: ruclips.net/video/SvZMXukfpg8/видео.html It is a pity a pro-shot doesn't exist of Yuibanger. Oh and you have plenty of great Babymetal songs left to do, mainly the new ones. =2nd album= -YAVA! (one of the best songs of 2nd album, kinda ska-ish) -Syncopation (one of the best songs of 2nd album, j-pop vibe) -Amore (Su's solo) -GJ! (Yui & Moa) =3rd album= -Da Da Dance (eurobeat+metal) -Shanti Shanti Shanti (indian folk metal) -Oh Majinai! (russian folk metal) -Night Night Burn! (latin folk metal) and what people call the trilogy of lights, classic metal songs that seem to be a tribute to Yui-metal and/or Mikio Fujioka, guitar player who died in an accident while stargazing in 2018. Great songs. -Starlight (pain) -Shine (sadness) -Arkadia (go ahead)
I've noticed no comments let you know that chokotto love was actual a j idol song. It was the first song if the idol group petitmoni in November 1999 and redone again by many artists including s/mileage and then here by yui, but in their metal style. This is a very popular song in general.
Good reaction, thanks! You just stepped by yourself into the "trilogy of LOVE" so you need to do next Moa's "Love Machine" and Su's "While Love" :) I believe you will have so much fun! See you next time!
BABYMETAL Monday!! YASS. Attack of the Kawaii Ninja - YUIMETAL. In answer to your question, no one knows exactly what was wrong with Yui-chan, only that she was unwell and after a year of missing shows, had not recovered enough to return 😪 We all miss her and as Queen Suu said, "There's no one quite like YUIMETAL." MOAMETAL "Love Machine" from the same concert is a must.
The song at the beginning is "Pomp and Circumstance March" or "graduation march" by Edward Elgar. You've heard it at every graduation. 1999 was the year Yui was born. This was filmed in 2013.
Su isn't lip synched, she sings live. As far as Yui and Moa, depends on the year. You go back to 2013 like here, their voices aren't as developed as Su and aren't as consistent, then their voices are often performing with a recording of themselves, blended in the mix. Now I believe they are completely live. I saw them 3 times in under a week last year and the vocal performances didn't come off as the same. If you watch Budokan Red or Black Night concert, definite waver in Yui's voice from the bouncing. That was live. If you watch them perform Headbanger, they sing "hedoban headoban" on a live mic, and the "bon bon bon" is a recording (and they don't even move their lips) Su in places sings with a recording of herself to provide harmony, but she has a live mic. In concert I have heard her miss a note twice, which shows how incredible she is over a half dozen shows I've seen. Too many of their official videos have studio recordings over a live performance. Not a fan of that.
Moa lip-syncs during parts in the newer songs as well, like Da Da Dance and Night Night Burn. They also add unnecessarily loud playback on some of her vocals to get that 'gang vocal' effect the band used to have with both Yui and Moa. Personally not a fan of either of those. I really love her voice and I wish they'd just let it shine more live. As for your last line, I don't think they can make proper music videos cause of the Avengers issue. They can't mask the Avengers the same way they masked the Kami band in the MV of Karate. At the end of the day, neither the kamis nor the avengers are Babymetal members. I'm not denying that all this is absurd btw.
I think in the early days Su did lip sync, but only in the first few years. And yeah, MOA cant create the effect of 2 singers on her own :( I dont know the name, but one of the 3 alts that replaced Yui is cute enough to be the successor, and full of energy also, but doesnt have a mic yet. I hope they will decide on a final replacement some day and give a mic. We have to get over Yui at some point even though we should never forget her.
moa and yui both are doing playbacks during those big babymetal shows. and if u see a difference to the studio version of course people pre-record vocal parts .. you cant focus on choreography and sing at the same time. you will always notice it with your breath control going to the limit. its not possible. and asian people always wanna be perfect, they definately dont let her sing live.
@@andrete8691 So I'm guessing you never watched any Sakura Gakin shows? Where they HAD to sing live and dance at the same time? Yui and Moa (and Su) did that for years.
💓 💀 !!! 'Chokotto LOVE' (A Little Bit of Love) A super rare Yuimetal solo. From the Legend "1999" Yuimetal & Moametal Seitansai concert (06-30-2013). This song was originally released in Yui's birth year 1999 by the Morning Musume subgroup Petitmoni. Su has been singing live since 'Legend I' (October 2012), with very few exceptions, such as the Anime Festival Asia Singapore 2012 and some TV appearances. There's also her special birthday version of 'Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!' (the Night of 15 Mix), although they're not really even pretending that dance version is being sung live. Of course she is augmented with backing tracks for harmonies and screams, but has otherwise been live in concert for some time. You'll hear a lot more difference of opinion about how much of Yui and Moa's singing has been live. Of course they do the more rigorous dancing.
@@johnschultz7765 It is the first (I think) of the 6 Pomp and Circumstance marches composed by Edward Elgar. The tune was used and words for 'Land of Hope and Glory' were added for King Edwards 7th's Coronation Ode in 1902.
Love your videos man and bm Mon is something I look forward to every week this group will definitely be remembered for years to come after they are done with the business Wich I hope isn't for a while lol this song is a banger for Shure she delivered it perfect any way keep it up really enjoy seeing your reactions
There's a 2019 moa's 20th birthday version of Headbanger and a 2018 version of GJ from Legend S I believe. That's good if you want to see how good Moa's voice has become, especially on headbanger's second half.
Thanks for another great review! Legend 1999 was the only concert in which Yui and Moa played a piano (in NRNR) and danced solo. It became very clear that when performing together they were even better than performing alone. BTW, Yuimetal taught herself the Karen Girls catalog before auditioning for Sakura Gakuin. She met Moa at SG and they auditioned together. Close friends from the start. We’d tell you all we think we know about Babymetal, but you guys are doing fine. One thing though. The band in this video is not actually playing. That’s how it was until the Kami Band joined. Here is a Babymetal suggestion. The audio is Babymetal, but the video is inspired by performers who influenced Babymetal. ruclips.net/video/HHq4xLnd0mk/видео.html
Sadly, no one know what the illness (or injury) was that caused her to be out for almost a year, and then end up leaving altogether. They only ever said "health reasons" and with the exception of one annual investors call last year when they said she was getting better, nothing has been heard or seen of her. At this point, I would highly doubt any rumor you read or hear of her coming back, but there's always someone out there who will float the rumor with no real idea because Amuse, their record company, has not said a thing.
Oh god I thought you would get to these one off performances like Chokotto Love and Love Machine later near the end of your BABYMETAL journey but here it is ahah. Chokotto Love is not a BABYMETAL song, it's a cover of a song by the same name by the Idol group Morning Musume, and it's a song YuiMetal liked a lot so they selected this one to cover ^^
I wrote to them and asked if they could do it for Yui's birthday (20th June), but I was a bit late and there was no time to record it for last monday the 22nd.
Third comment here. Yeah I know :p So as solo songs for Yui and Moa you have Chokotto Love (Yui) and Love Machine (Moa), that's what people talk about the most, but you also have some recordings of Moa and Yui taking Suzuka's spot on Headbanger and singing the whole song live and without lipsync :D Moa sung this track 2 times, one in 2014 and one in 2019, and Yui sung it just once, and I was fortunate enough to witness it, it was in Paris in 2014, and it also was the first show BABYMETAL did outside of Asia, and ALSO my first BABYMETAL show :D I'll never forget it, and being in the same small room as her (it was a small venue of not even a 900 people capacity) I can tell you she was SPOT ON and giving it all :D
La Cigale holds like 1400ish people (still small by Babymetal standards though ahah), did they sell it out ? I don't remember I couldn't be there that day 😭
@@TheLeomarti well depend on the setup of the venue but Wikipedia says less than a thousand so idk :/ Maybe you're right but it felt really small when I went there :3 And yeah it was sold out :D
(translation of the lore before performance) When the dango tango swept through Japan and the gray band held an audience of 200,000 spellbound, the Angel of Dance descended to this world. The angel is Yui Metal. The Fox God said "They will be connected by her fate." Yui Metal prepares for the upcoming Metal Resistance. She collects many seals. She goes to the school limited to the girls in growth period. In this way she has been performing "little by little" the undercover propagation in the idol scene.
Awesome Video as always!! This is one of the few songs I havent heard before. As for suggestions I agree with some other comments, 4 no uta, GJ! or Onedari daisakusen would be great! I dont think Su ever lipsync or the other girl as the grew up. I actually think they sound better live than on record. Its sad Yui left but as far as I know it was due to illness, there are claims it was some type of back problem and she couldnt keep doing the dancing. Right now Babymetal is only Su and Moa but they have "avengers" 3 girls who keeps switching in for the last spot. One of their latest shows was really epic though as they had 2 bands instead of one and all 5 girls were on stage at the same time!
Hey guys I would like to suggest Tsubasa wo kudasai from the Legend D concert. Su had graduated and no one knew, that is the fans, if the group would continue. In the performance Yui and Moa appear to cry during the entire song. At the end, like a wrestler leaving his shoes on the mat when he retires, Su left the mic on the stage and walks off. The vocals are stunning.
About the lip-syncing, it sometimes looks like it, because of the laughter. All the actual singing is live, but the laughter is on a backing track. This is a cover song, and I BELIEVE that the laughter is taken from the original, because it sounds real similar, but it also sounds like Yui's voice, so she may have just pre-recorded it.
Wow. Moametal's birthday is the 4th of july. I know that date means nothing to her, but makes it easy to remember. you guys should do a special 4th of july/moa metal reaction. IJS
The tune at the start of the video is the "Graduation March" from "Pomp and Circumstance" by Edward Elgar. P.S.: Rumors of Yui's return are completely without substance. Pure wishful thinking of some fans!
The opening music is commonly used in graduations in the U.S., and again, Babybones, the guys in the back are actors mimeing playing music, the soundtrack was prerecorded...and the girls don't lipsync...
.... One day...... One day it will be Monday and I will find the Sis.Anger reaction I've been waiting for. And it shall be recorded in history books for generations to see, how awesome that Monday was.
i think babymetal never lip synced. but you see the band playing in the back in this song are called babybones they are just pretending to play. amuse / kobametal probably realized they need a real band which were the kamis. i think this was even the last show with the babybones playing
ATB?? WTF?! The intro music was 'Pomp & Circumstance Graduation Walking March' & is played at graduation ceremonies. But you knew that. 😁 You guys do a great job & are worthy of all the Likes & Subscribers you get. You earned them, no doubt. You did the work. You show respect, hence, you are respected. You entertain us, & briefly distract us from this bat-shit crazy world we dwell in. However, despite the chaos & craziness, there is one place in this world that is more beautiful & hopeful than anywhere else. Moreover, only 4% of the entire global population are blessed enough to call themselves citizens of this amazing, beautiful, grand, & yes, sometimes challenging, & might I add ballsy, experiment called AMERICA. Please react to: America the Beautiful Ray Charles (1972) ruclips.net/video/myBVejwZt8Q/видео.html "Oh beautiful, for heroes proved, In liberating strife, Who more than self, THEIR country loved, And mercy more than life, America, OH America, may God thy gold refine, Till all success be nobleness And every gain devined. You know, I wish I had somebody to help me sing this - America, America…" 🇺🇸✌🇺🇸✌🇺🇸✌🇺🇸✌🇺🇸✌🇺🇸✌🇺🇸✌🇺🇸
Next Moa Metal solo song from the same show, Love Machine! Here is the link - ruclips.net/video/LpRxI3gYoTg/видео.html You should totally do a double feature and also react to Sis Anger - ruclips.net/video/BZLZcoWZKN0/видео.html Sis Anger is just Yui and Moa without Su (it's when she is getting her break) and when it's just the two of them, Babymetal becomes Black Babymetal. Yeah boy!
The Japanese music industry (and Japanese culture in general) plays it VERY close to the vest when it comes to discussing the personal lives of public figures and/or the inner goings-on and behind the scenes occurrences of singers, musicians, actors, and politicians. So, when any artist leaves a group like Yui did, they often cite health reasons whether there's any truth to that or not. If I had to guess why Yui left, I'd say she was just not prepared to undergo the enourmous and ridiculously demanding touring schedule and the amount of work that BABYMETAL and most other Japanese artists who are managed by talent agencies have to sign up for. She just probably got burned out and mentally exhausted and wanted her life back. It sucks cuz I really dug Yui in the group, but I can't fault her for wanting her life back. As for lip-syncing, like many artists, BABYMETAL uses some pre-recorded vocal elements, such as repeated chorus elements, backing vocals, and sound effects, but the vast majority of the main vocal pieces are not lip-synced - they are sung live. The "band" in the background on this video were not playing - that was pre-recorded (whenever you see dudes in skeleton suits in the background it is not live. This performance was earlier in BABYMETAL's career where they did not have the Kami-Band as a dedicated live band like all their performances have now. At this point in time BABYMETAL always uses a live band. By the way, though the music for Chokotto Love was pre-recorded, I think Yui was singing live excpet for the "ha ha ha" parts. By the way, Moametal did a solo song at this same show just like Yui did. Just look for a song that Moa does called "Love Machine."
No one knows what was exactly her health problems, but you can see in various performances from later in her BABYMETAL career that she was very VERY skinny at some points. So a lot of people, me included, consider that it might be related to the reason she left. Also from the 3 girls it has always been clear that she was the least interested in continuing the BABYMETAL journey, especially after they finally performed at the Tokyo Dome. The Tokyo Dome is like the ultimate goal for an artist in Japan, playing in this 55.000+ venue pretty much means you made it. And I guess it was Yui's dream to play there. But once they achieved it, I feel like she wasn't feeling it anymore. So yeah, this probably led her to quit. But we still all hope she will return and maybe that's why they haven't announced a permanent 3rd member yet and are currently switching back and forth between several dancers to fill Yui's old spot. Also yeah the song is totally lipsynced, they still already lipsync some songs nowadays and especially back at the time the Legend 1999 show was recorded it was still almost full lipsync especially for Yui and Moa ^^
The Moa & Yui focused songs are the ones I like most whether it's BABYMETAL songs like Onedari Daisakusen & GJ! or the short covers like this or Love Machine with Moa.
I know I'm way late commenting on this, but here goes. Back when I first went down the Babymetal foxhole (summer 2018), I too "researched" the mystery of why Yui Metal left the band. The one moment that always sticks out to me is when she fell off the stage at Budokan, March 1/14 (Red Night). It was during Headbanger. I have the DVD and I've watched that bit over and over again. She just disappears for the rest of the song and returns for the next (and last) song (Ijime, Dame, Zettai). I've never been able to find any literature on how badly she was injured from that fall. I just wonder if that was the beginning of the end for her. Obviously, they kept touring and she persevered thru it, but did her little 14 year old body really get a chance to properly recover from that? Was she pressured by the Amuse Entertainment machine, or other outside sources to keep going? Did she keep going because she didn't want to let anybody down? Sadly, I assume we'll never really find out. Either way, I hope we do get to see some music from her in the near future.
This is a cover of a song that was popular in the year of Yui's birth - 1999. Pucchimoni (Petitmoni): Chokotto Love (ちょこっとLove, A Little Bit of Love) [ ruclips.net/video/uWus8hreWnc/видео.html ]
Yash Babymetal monday !!! Yui Metal - Chokotto Love live Legend 1999 on June 2013. This song not original song from Babymetal , this cover song. Original by subgroup Petitmoni
I've been following all of your Babymetal reactions and I was wondering when you'll come across Babymetal's pop roots. This video kinda does that. A few interesting points though: This song was from group called Petitmoni, a subgroup of the J-pop girl band Morning Musume (Moa performed "Love Machine" by Morning Musume in the same concert). As you may already know, Yui left in 2018, then in 2019, Babymetal started employing 3 rotating backup dancers they dubbed "The Avengers" to fill Yui's spot. One of those Avengers is Riho Sayashi. Riho is a 9th generation member of Morning Musume. Also, when they were kids, both Riho and Su were enrolled in a performing arts school called Actor's School Hiroshima and even performed together during live events/recitals, so Riho and Su go way back. Kinda funny how some things in life goes full circle sometimes.
The misic to the intro showing Yui growing up is 'Land of Hope and Glory' it is a British patriotic song, yes Yui did leave in 2018 but you will not ever no what her illness was it is not the Japanese way to trouble others with there problems, Yui would only tell close family members and very very close friends the only way that any of Yui's friends will talk about it openly is if Yui do's first and I very much doubt that she ever will, you have to remeber were they are from and think Japanese culture not Weston cultue if you are ill in the west and someone askes you what is rong we will tell them, but they will not in Japan. All so yes Moa has song bye her self 'Love Machine' hear you go enjoy. [ruclips.net/video/LpRxI3gYoTg/видео.html]
Hey you guys absolutely MUST do a reaction to the band Mastodon. As Tool is to art and prog metal, Mastodon is the other heavier side to that coin. They have 3 singers, the drummer is one of the most incredible pumping driving drummers in the business. He even did drum battles with Dany Carry! PLEASE either take a look at Oblivion, The Last Baron, or Toe to Toes (the music video) You will not believe your sweet happy ears boys I promise you.
They're not lipsyncing - some RUclipsr posted their live in-ear microphone audio. Their voices do get processed in synth, though, since it's quite difficult to be singing while intensively dancing throughout.
Happy belated birthday to Yui! 🍅🦊 You should definitely react to Moa - 'Love Maschine'. Cause Moa's 21st birthday is 4th July and 6th July is next Babymetal monday.😉 P.S.: Smokey&Hollywood your videodescribtion says "No Rain No Rainbow"
you guys are abolutely amazing...I love everybody who can celebrate great music no matter which genre. much love from Germany If you wanna try something new I highly recomment listening to "Fiddlers Green - Yindy" ... it's a German band that combines traditional Irish Folk with some heavy Rock ... calling it Speed Folk I'm 100% sure you guys would love this band and their sound Pleeeeeeaaaaase give them a try
This performance was still during their Idol days, so there was more focus on their dancing and choreo than the singing. Happens often enough in the Idol business, they rather do songs playback than reduce the choreo. Nowadays the only thing that's lip synched are some harmonies from Su (Rondo or Gimme Chocolate for example) and some backtrack support for Moa in the songs with heavy choreo. This was also one of the last concerts with the "Baby Bones", the fake band who mimed playing their instruments. They didn't really have the money or didn't want to invest the money (I'm not sure which one it was) to have a real band performing with them in their early days. Another thing is, I think I read somewhere that their manager/producer Koba was reluctant to let Yui & Moa sing live before their 15th birthday, but I could be wrong with that and I don't know the reason why if it is true, because it's not like they didn't sing live with their other group Sakura Gakuin. To the "rumors" of Yui returning, I give these about 1%. Maybe she comes back for one night only, but that gets about 5% from me. Of course it's sad she left the band, but Babymetal moved on. End of story for me. She'd probably still be on hiatus if there was a legitimate chance of her performing with them again on a regular basis. Nobody knows what the illness is/was because it's Japan. They don't disclose personal information and Babymetal is probably the the tip of the iceberg of that policy. There are very few pictures or material in general of them outside of Interviews, in character of course, since M&Y "graduated" from Sakura Gakuin in 2015 and nothing at all since mid-2016. You don't see them at concerts, officialy interviews with screened questions or festivals -> you don't see or hear anything from them at all. No Social Media, no Paparazzi shots (which is against the law in Japan if I remember correctly), no fan photos with them on the street, nothing. For Moa, my suggestion would be a Black Babymetal (Y&M without Su) Song or you check out Headbanger! from Legend M in 2019, but unfortunately it's not on RUclips, so it would be a Link & Sync. Other than that you probably have to do a fancam. This is a video from both Yui and Moa's 15th birthday concerts in 2014. But it's footage from two different concerts a few days apart and only their parts of Headbanger, put together in one video ruclips.net/video/JC8rg1PWSfA/видео.html
Going for Yui (or Moa) individually before Black Babymetal (Yui+Moa without Suu)? Too deep too soon I'm afraid. Going to these depths in the fox hole is not for everybody. Really too early. Better to do Onedari Daisakusen instead for now :) Consider Babymetal: Suu is the Queen with metal heart, Kami Band are the spearheads to win in metal warfare, while Yui and Moa's is running around, chaotically screaming and moving all over. They rally the army. They engage supporters. They mostly take their place in front of the queen (as opposed to behind for backdrop dancers). The two girls have done this for 8 years, and look where Babymetal is now. They know their role and they are doing it to the utmost of their ability. Officially, Yui and Moa do not have solos in Babymetal. They simply don't need to. They sang when: - The queen deliberately handed her dagger (Headbanger) - Covering other band's songs (such as this video), an easter egg kinda thing I suppose, which only happens two times - Appearing as a duo (namely Black Babymetal). And even here, they didn't sing deeply!!! They just do what they do. Well, after Yui's departure, technically Black Babymetal songs became Moa's solos I suppose, but hearing them without Yui is kinda depressing. I argue that Yui and Moa cannot be replaced. With Yui missing, it was devastating. 2018 went by almost anticlimactically (with also the loss of one of their spearheading Generals), but they made it out in 2019 through perseverance and resilience. Saya-Metal, muscle-metals, and now Kano, Riho and Momoko were introduced to fill the the big gap left by Yui, but I don't think they're there to replace Yui. Such is this era for Babymetal. There will come the time for another new era with newer developments, but for now, let's cherish ONEDARI DAISAKUSSEN :)
The introductory music is a movement from Elgar’s Pomp and Circumstance, better known as the music to the British patriotic song - Land of Hope and Glory.
Sorry - the guys at the back are Babybones, one of whom will be Koba. It is an early performance, as they were getting the Kami band together. Some of the songs this early would played live by the Kami band; others to pre-recorded tracks and mimed by Babybones. Yui’s singing is live though. Obviously talented musicians recorded the backing track.
Y'all HAVE to do Onedari Daisakusen soon. Moa & Yui special. I think the one from their Legend 1997 show is the best video. Moa makes some faces that you'll notice. Too cute. And the drop is pretty crazy. ruclips.net/video/gcFb--b6vGE/видео.html Beginning translation: It is the holy night, the wonderful night when each one's dream comes true. But the Metal Resistance is in execution even in the holy night. The Fox God, the god of the Metal, in order to dye the holy night steel color, sends down the gods of guitar, the god of bass, and the god of drums, with the Black Santa Clauses... The Black Santas come to good kids' houses. "Give me! Give me!" In order to beg you for the present, the Black Santas come to your house, too. Now begins the biggest "Begging Operation" in history. This was the first song of their encore set and introduced the Kami Band.
Two things. 1: Please react to songs of black babymetal (Moa and Yui), unfortunately there are only compilations, but this are good songs.4 not uta is my favorite but Onedari Daikasusen, Gj and sis anger are also very good. 2: I am sorry to tell you that these concerts are from the time when the Kamiband (real musicians) were just beginning to integrate, so the ones behind the instruments are the babybones. I mean, actors who made a mime of playing. they really didn't play. Everything was packed.
of course they're lip syncing in the early videos, but who cares. she's just a kid. they never claimed to be amazing singers, they just bring the energy and respect the metal
Post-grunge kings, band named Seether, released their new single called «Dangerous». Deep lyrics, nice and creepy animated music video and awesome sound. Guys, you HAVE TO check them out! ruclips.net/video/rPdS8Ij_LuA/видео.html
Thanks for BABYMETAL MONDAY!! Moametal - Love Machine next, and then we can go for the BLACK BABYMETAL (Moa & Yui duo songs) - GJ!, Sis.Anger, Onedari Daisakusen, Song 4.🤟🦊 Yui's health condition wasn't publicly exposed as the official only said 'undisclosed health reason'. Understandable, because it's a privacy and privacy in the Japanese culture is very very respected. But it's probably very very serious health issue.. because she had to absent for months from performing on stage with BM, december 2017 (the concert of Su's No rain No rainbow you guys reacted to before) - october 2018 (when the BM official announced that Yui officially left BM). Until today, there's no legit news about her but one thing for sure, she's still in the Amuse.inc artists management artist.amuse.co.jp/artist/mizuno_yui/ and the last message she wrote before left, she pointed out that she probably will come back to the showbiz to continue pursue her dream as 'Yui Mizuno' (as I can understand, not as Yuimetal anymore). The chance for her to comeback to BM is so small, but we all can hope. But for now I hope she's done well.. Health is number one, right?
Theres a video where Moa sings the 2nd half of Headbanger. If you can find a video or could just do the song, react to Kagerou on the Metal Galaxy album. Please 😁
"Why's this make me wanna turn up!?" Cause it's another fucking banger from BABYMETAL. Also on Yuis illness not even the fans know lol as far as her return, it's probably never happening because she's healthy again but showed no sign of wanting to return.
As far as what happened to Yui, the best and most honest answer is.. we don't know for sure because the information is incomplete. The only thing said was that she was physically unable to perform but that she was recovering. About 3 1/2 months later she announced her retirement from Babymetal saying she had a great desire to appear on stage again as Yuimetal, but was not yet fully recovered and so decided to move on. The secrecy has spawned lots of speculation and conspiracy theories but there is no real evidence to back any of it up. This subject is a sore spot for a few fans so be warned. :)
Su-metal had previously also got a special solo, for the Legend D concert, with a song called "White Love"
What was special about these three specific solo's was each one had the word "LOVE" in the title and each song was a popular song from the year of their birth!!
Su-metal's "birthday" solo 'White Love' was at Legend D for her 15th birthday, but she did cover 'Tamashi No Rufuran' at Legend 1997.
@@Grington300 oh crap...that's right...LoL!!
Correction made.
@@watcher2554 she looked really ill at the Big Fox Festival though which was her last performance
Guys!!! React to love machine! Moa's song
and 1999 is the year that yui and moa were born
Bro can't wait for Over The Future. Do that one after Love Machine.
The official Babymetal did Legend XX yesterday it was the first concert that Yui missed. It was very sad but also very cool. The crowd filled in as Yui and did all her lines. Perfectly.
I was so pissed I missed it, but more so that they didn't keep it up like they did with Wembley last month for people who missed it being streamed.
@@mr.osclasses5054 - If you want to watch it i can give you a link? The concert. Not the livestream.
@@Dragon-Believer Yes please!

100% i a gree they should do them successive
Don't forget Yon No Uta!
Man, I'd love to see Sis Anger!! It's a classic!
@@Grington300 Ahhhh, good to know. I doubt I'll ever need to refer to it with my students, but you never know.
Agree with reacting to a full concert :)
Then not here on RUclips, would get blocked even faster than Road of Resistance 😅
Or react to Legend S, the best opening and ending of the show ever IMO
Great idea. I wonder if it’s worthwhile doing it on Vimeo as a lynx and sync Metrock 2015 is already on there with no adds.
The song at the beginning is "land of hope and glory". A British song.
Ohhh that's what it's called, then? I've always known it in my head as "the graduation theme". 😅
Written by Edward Elgar.
Here is Moametal's solo from the same concert.
ruclips.net/video/LpRxI3gYoTg/видео.html
As a side note, you must understand that these girls, however young they are, are seasoned veterans of the entertainment industry.
About all the Yui stuff, it's a delicate thing lol when she left, they cover her absence with "babymetal lore stuff", and 2018 the girls went super silent, no band interaction whatsoever (no pictures after show etc), also during that time Su and Moa looked super different in stage (all black clothes, no ponytails)
Anyways, Yui is still under contract with Amuse (the company that babymetal is part of), this year is the 10th anniversary of Babymetal, and (unlikely as it is), I would LOVE to see Yui return at least for one song.

-Starlight (pain)
-Shine (sadness)
-Arkadia (go ahead)

BABYMETAL Monday!! YASS.
Attack of the Kawaii Ninja - YUIMETAL. In answer to your question, no one knows exactly what was wrong with Yui-chan, only that she was unwell and after a year of missing shows, had not recovered enough to return 😪 We all miss her and as Queen Suu said, "There's no one quite like YUIMETAL."
MOAMETAL "Love Machine" from the same concert is a must.
If you watch them perform Headbanger, they sing "hedoban headoban" on a live mic, and the "bon bon bon" is a recording (and they don't even move their lips)
Su in places sings with a recording of herself to provide harmony, but she has a live mic.
And yeah, MOA cant create the effect of 2 singers on her own :(
I dont know the name, but one of the 3 alts that replaced Yui is cute enough to be the successor, and full of energy also, but doesnt have a mic yet.

'Chokotto LOVE' (A Little Bit of Love)
A super rare Yuimetal solo.

I'm a hardcore metal head, since 1990 when I was 11. I fucking LOVE BabyMetal
Third comment here. Yeah I know :p
So as solo songs for Yui and Moa you have Chokotto Love (Yui) and Love Machine (Moa), that's what people talk about the most, but you also have some recordings of Moa and Yui taking Suzuka's spot on Headbanger and singing the whole song live and without lipsync :D
Moa sung this track 2 times, one in 2014 and one in 2019, and Yui sung it just once, and I was fortunate enough to witness it, it was in Paris in 2014, and it also was the first show BABYMETAL did outside of Asia, and ALSO my first BABYMETAL show :D I'll never forget it, and being in the same small room as her (it was a small venue of not even a 900 people capacity) I can tell you she was SPOT ON and giving it all :D
La Cigale holds like 1400ish people (still small by Babymetal standards though ahah), did they sell it out ? I don't remember I couldn't be there that day 😭
@PrepsterM oh yeah my bad that's what I wanted to say ahah ^^
@@TheLeomarti well depend on the setup of the venue but Wikipedia says less than a thousand so idk :/ Maybe you're right but it felt really small when I went there :3
And yeah it was sold out :D
(translation of the lore before performance)
When the dango tango swept through Japan and the gray band held an audience of 200,000 spellbound,
the Angel of Dance descended to this world.
The angel is Yui Metal.
The Fox God said
"They will be connected by her fate."
Yui Metal prepares for the upcoming Metal Resistance.
Yui and Moa born in 99.
Su born in 97.
It's also Land of Hope and Glory lol
WE WILL NEVER LOSE HOPE
The opening music is commonly used in graduations in the U.S., and again, Babybones, the guys in the back are actors mimeing playing music, the soundtrack was prerecorded...and the girls don't lipsync...
babymetal manday\(^o^)/
この人達なんでもノリノリでリアクションしてくれるからマジで好きw
Everyone judges this band SOLELY on the girls up front, but, bro .. their back up band is fucking TIGHT!! I love it
.... One day...... One day it will be Monday and I will find the Sis.Anger reaction I've been waiting for. And it shall be recorded in history books for generations to see, how awesome that Monday was.
Hansha by Oceans ate alaska, absolutely mindblowing
all we know is she left because of health problems and is continuing as a solo artist at some point
i think babymetal never lip synced.
but you see the band playing in the back in this song are called babybones they are just pretending to play. amuse / kobametal probably realized they need a real band which were the kamis. i think this was even the last show with the babybones playing
Well thanks alot, now I'm picturing Yui riding a Chocobo through the Kingdom of Baron, lol!
ATB?? WTF?! The intro music was 'Pomp & Circumstance Graduation Walking March' & is played at graduation ceremonies. But you knew that. 😁
You guys do a great job & are worthy of all the Likes & Subscribers you get.
Please react to: America the Beautiful
Ray Charles (1972)

"Oh beautiful, for heroes proved,
In liberating strife,
Who more than self,
THEIR country loved,
And mercy more than life,
America, OH America,
may God thy gold refine,
Till all success be nobleness
And every gain devined.
And you know when I was in school,
We used to sing it something like this,
listen here:
Oh beautiful, for spacious skies,
For amber waves of grain,
For purple mountain majesties,
Above the fruited plain,
But now wait a minute, I'm talking about
America, sweet America,
You know, God done shed his grace on thee,
He crowned thy good, yes he did,
in a brotherhood,
From sea to shining sea.
You know, I wish I had somebody to help me sing this - America, America…"

Next Moa Metal solo song from the same show, Love Machine! Here is the link - ruclips.net/video/LpRxI3gYoTg/видео.html
You should totally do a double feature and also react to Sis Anger - ruclips.net/video/BZLZcoWZKN0/видео.html
Sis Anger is just Yui and Moa without Su (it's when she is getting her break) and when it's just the two of them, Babymetal becomes Black Babymetal. Yeah boy!
wow, I didn't expect this reaction. this with "love machine" (Moametal) are cult material of babymetal.
Either way, I hope we do get to see some music from her in the near future.
come on all the songs are good but your missing the great ones Syncopation Yava, Awadama Fever , a different level of BM
And Tales of the Destinies 😉
I concur. YAVA is my number 1 favorite. It's 100% pure Babymetal!!
Yava with Kami band intro! 🤘🏻💀🤘🏻ruclips.net/video/SKxhR3zE-Qk/видео.html
Fun fact. Yui's favorite metal band is Slayer.
This is a cover of a song that was popular in the year of Yui's birth - 1999.

@@glenkelley6799 NO! I put warnings in... Sort of. Mostly. 😈
yui metal was born in 1999.
Thank you guys=)
Yash Babymetal monday !!!
Yui Metal - Chokotto Love live Legend 1999 on June 2013.
This song not original song from Babymetal , this cover song.
Original by subgroup Petitmoni
of Morning Musume
I've been following all of your Babymetal reactions and I was wondering when you'll come across Babymetal's pop roots. This video kinda does that. A few interesting points though:
This song was from group called Petitmoni, a subgroup of the J-pop girl band Morning Musume (Moa performed "Love Machine" by Morning Musume in the same concert).
🤘🦊 YUI 🦊🤘
I hope so hard she's ok
Princess Yui. Best girl.
Please upload the Road of Resistance reaction again.
x2 pls
we have tried like 4 times and they keep blocking it. we uploaded it on our patreon
Go deep and do Sis Anger, Moa and Yui, aka Black Babymetal
You guys should check out "Shanti, Shanti, Shanti.
Happy belated birthday to Yui! 🍅🦊
You should definitely react to Moa - 'Love Maschine'. Cause Moa's 21st birthday is 4th July and 6th July is next Babymetal monday.😉
P.S.: Smokey&Hollywood your videodescribtion says "No Rain No Rainbow"
Love the reaction at 4:33 it happened to me too! lol
you guys are abolutely amazing...I love everybody who can celebrate great music no matter which genre.
much love from Germany
If you wanna try something new I highly recomment listening to "Fiddlers Green - Yindy" ... it's a German band that combines traditional Irish Folk with some heavy Rock ... calling it Speed Folk
I'm 100% sure you guys would love this band and their sound
Pleeeeeeaaaaase give them a try
Better to do Onedari Daisakusen instead for now :)
Consider Babymetal: Suu is the Queen with metal heart, Kami Band are the spearheads to win in metal warfare, while Yui and Moa's is running around, chaotically screaming and moving all over.
They sang when:
- The queen deliberately handed her dagger (Headbanger)
- Covering other band's songs (such as this video), an easter egg kinda thing I suppose, which only happens two times
- Appearing as a duo (namely Black Babymetal).
Well known as the Pomp and Circumstance March or graduation march here in America.
Y'all HAVE to do Onedari Daisakusen soon. Moa & Yui special. I think the one from their Legend 1997 show is the best video. Moa makes some faces that you'll notice. Too cute. And the drop is pretty crazy. ruclips.net/video/gcFb--b6vGE/видео.html
Beginning translation:
It is the holy night, the wonderful night when each one's dream comes true.
But the Metal Resistance is in execution even in the holy night.
The Fox God, the god of the Metal, in order to dye the holy night steel color,
sends down the gods of guitar,
the god of bass,
and the god of drums,
with the Black Santa Clauses...
The Black Santas come to good kids' houses.
"Give me! Give me!"
In order to beg you for the present, the Black Santas come to your house, too.
Now begins the biggest "Begging Operation" in history.
This was the first song of their encore set and introduced the Kami Band.
I'm not gonna lie, i only watch Babymetal Monday. But wooo each week i check in, i see the number of subs jumping up a few notches. 💪
God bless America. The melody was taken from the English national anthem God save the queen. Only babymetal can run a crowd at 11 to 13 lol I love Moa
Its not God bless America. Its called Pomp and Surcumstance. Its played at graduations.
Everything was packed.
lol her voice is so cute :)
I think you must react to BBM aka Black Baby Metal.
When they start doing music they lip sync but they say they dont do that anymore i think it was 2014 when they start doing it live
Great again guys! Yui is absolutely sweet. You know why everyone miss so much Yui. Plase react now to Love Machine Moa's solo. Is amazing! 🤟🏻 🦊
Chokotto Love is a cover track:D

懐かしい!
There is one song that I found and you guys might like from Babymetal is the song dusk till Dawn I really think you guys would like it
of course they're lip syncing in the early videos, but who cares. she's just a kid. they never claimed to be amazing singers, they just bring the energy and respect the metal
Yui got "Chokotto Love" and Moa got "Love Machine".
I like your reactions guys 😎
Can you react to within temptation mother earth or somewhere ft anneke van giersbergen? I think you guys like it.

Thanks for BABYMETAL MONDAY!!
Moametal - Love Machine next, and then we can go for the BLACK BABYMETAL (Moa & Yui duo songs) - GJ!, Sis.Anger, Onedari Daisakusen, Song 4.🤟🦊
Yui's health condition wasn't publicly exposed as the official only said 'undisclosed health reason'.
Please 😁
"Why's this make me wanna turn up!?"
Cause it's another fucking banger from BABYMETAL.
you guys need to watch Over The Future full circle
Actually, the band in the skeleton costumes weren’t their real band. It was for the looks, then they met their current band to play the tracks live.
