As you found with Tim Henson's interview with Herman Li, the song is nearly 5 years old, it was on the Metal Galaxy album released in 2019. As Tim said, he and Scott LePage were sent a very rough demo and recorded the original guitar tracks for the final recording, but they didn't know what the song would really sound like until the album was released .... they thought it sounded like a Polyphia track with vocals and really wanted to have the chance to play it live with BABYMETAL. I don't know if you saw more of the interview with Herman Li - he was surprised Tim and Scott just did the guitars in one go and weren't asked to add or change anything as when he and Sam Totman from DragonForce had done the same thing with the guitar arrangements for BABYMETAL's song 'Road of Resistance' in 2014 they were asked a few times to add or change something. The FOX_FEST events three or four months ago were the first time Tim and Scott and BABYMETAL got the chance to perform it live together. Tim and Scott said in an interview that they had more fun performing this song with BABYMETAL than they had performing their own set and how much they enjoyed watching BABYMETAL performing close up, especially in the verses where they weren't having to play and could just watch. I think you may need to watch your previous BABYMETAL videos back as you seem to have completely missed Moa (and Momoko since she got her mic last April) singing their own lines and some harmonies with Su in all of them. Their main role, of course, is the interpretive dance and engaging with and involving the crowd and is crucial to what makes BABYMETAL stand out and different to pretty much any other band. As I recall you are more familiar with groups where (it always seems to me) they dance about to take your mind off the music and maybe stop dancing for a moment to take their turns to sing a couple of lines. I believe you have just struggled to understand what they are doing or why and that is why BABYMETAL has not clicked for you and are not your thing - and there is nothing wrong with that or in saying so.
15:02 we have a reactor who has done many Babymetal reactions, who is a big fan and not bias anymore, but he didn't like many Babymetal songs in the beginning (we had some problems with people choosing the wrong song as well, that was part of the problem).... so we know.
This is like the first time I've seen someone really liking babymetal when they first hear them (your reaction to PAPAYA) and then gradually liking them less and less when they do more reactions to them. Usually it's the complete opposite that they are unsure about them at first and then gradually they start liking them more and more. Really a odd one but it's ofcourse better that you were honest about them not being for you than just try forcing yourself to like them It's also kind of funny how you have 2 out of the 5 songs you have listened from babymetal added to your playlist but still decided that babymetal isn't for you. For me that sounds like a pretty good track record:D
Enjoy the reaction...Babymetal's performance is awesome...not only the vocals, the music, the band...but the stage production and choreography and other small details are all connected.
I'm just trying to learn and love baby metal, my recommendation would be Headbanger, Kitsune, "Ijime, Dame, Zettai", Gimme Chocolate, nad BxMxC. Their interaction with fans was amazing in there!
Being a fan of both Polyphia and Babymetal, I really appreciate your class. Certain music is not for everyone and its cool how you are respectful about taking a pass. I still LOL though on your first Tim Henson vid and how you man crushed on him. It was such a good vid. I have actually seen BM and Polyphia at the same show, and will se BM for the 3rd time in December at house of blues. They are a blast live. I am not really into the lore and you were spot on what you said about Su's voice being an instrument. Its a nice blend to the heavy music and for me it works. Hope to see more reactions from you down the road. I actually enjoyed this vid and made me hit the sub button.

Well, if this one is not your cup of tea, maybe try their song "Da Da Dance" or "iine". I'm not saying that you will like it, but "Da Da Dance" have similiar vibe to Pa Pa Ya. For "iine", you will hear their unique genre switch up which is very interesting and amusing at the same time.
