She is not 1000% wrong, it's literally a CDC recommendation to stay under 300mg of caffeine. Some babies are affected by caffeine, which doesn't automatically mean hers will be. Unless you're going to tell me you have a PhD in neonatology and pediatrics with a concentration in the affects of caffeine and breastfeeding, but im willing to bet this is just based on the google research you did with no regard to source or bias and probably the advice from YOUR ob?
I'm sure if Alex finds that her baby is irritable, fussy, or having trouble sleeping, she will cut out caffeine to determine if that is actually having an effect or if it is something else.

Sometimes babies can’t tolerate caffeine while breastfeeding and it will throw off their sleep. This happened with 3 of my nephews. Caffeine isn’t the issue in energy drinks…things like ginseng, taurine, guarana, creatine, green tea leaf extract, coffee bean extract, and BCAAs are the problems. They can elevate babies heart rate, blood sugar and blood pressure. Also could affect hormones. Better to be safe than sorry. We had a name picked out for our daughter, then when I had her and first seen & held her I was like, no. The name didn’t fit her. Actually chose something we never even thought of before. Very happy with how it turned out

When we were trying to pick a name for our kiddos we played the name game, you know...Hannah, Hannah, bo bana, and so on if any part of the song came out offensive as with the name "Chuck" we skipped to our next. The middle name was either my middle name or my guys. Enjoy this time and know you've got this!❤🎉

Love target’s Auden nursing bras. I’ve used them through both breastfeeding journeys. Definitely recommend an angled peri, just makes it easier less messy. And as a size 18 the hospital undies fit fine.

The name game! I have always always loved making baby name lists. My two favorites since I was a little kid are now so popular 😂 The fact I won't be having a kid (most likely very unlikely) doesn't stop me from still making them. And yesterday randomly thought of a girl name to go with my last name and it just felt perfect. And it has never been something close to a name I liked. So it will all work out! I 100 % believe you will know it at the right time

Don’t forget to pack nursing pads, you’ll wake up a day or two postpartum covered in your own milk. I learned the hard way, definitely a necessity. Even if you’re not breastfeeding your milk will still make an appearance 😂 good luck Alex! Im so excited for you!!

I had my daughters named planned for a long time before she was born, but for my son, he ended up being a premie and I went to the hospital 5 weeks early with no name prepared. I just kind of looked at my husband and said a name with a questionmark and we agreed. I'm sure we could have chosen something better, but we love his name :)

We are about the same size. With my first baby I wore the mesh panties from the hospital, but they weren't comfy. My next baby I had at a different hospital and the most amazing nurses took care of me. One nurse brought me probably 12 pairs of their mesh panties and they were the hipster style. She said they would be more comfortable for me and she was right! Turns out with the 1st baby they gave me the brief style and they didn't fit my curves properly. Just a heads up to ask for hipster style if they bring you the brief ones.

It took almost 8 months to pick our girl’s name because we couldn’t agree. We ended up choosing a name we both liked but dismissed early on because we already knew someone with that name. We decided we barely if ever see the person who shares her name. So I’d say go back and look at names you like but eliminated for whatever reason.

Before my fiance and I knew the gender, we came up with a girl's name immediately, literally one name and we both loved it and so it's always been our first choice for a girl, for a boy it took us a while but we did finally find one we both liked. I feel like boys names were just so much harder for me especially because I didn't want to use a name that was already in the family, I wanted something original but not "out there" and we both like old names so that's how we eventually chose the name we did. All that hassle for nothing though because we ended up with a girl lol.

😊 nope his name was very easy. We named him Jason this was 48 years ago. I had no troubles finding a name for him and it fit him perfect and it still does just make sure you don’t name him anything weird or screwy they are the ones that have to grow up with it? Or if you find it unusual name, give him an a middle name that he could use if he wants to.

I relate to the baby name thing. You technically have until they hand you the paperwork after birth to decide lol! With our daughter we were stuck between Eden and Olivia and as soon as we met her we were like “oh yeah she’s definitely an Olivia!”. Same with our boys. Just have a few faves and middle name options and it’ll all work out after delivery, I promise! 😂

Picking a baby name is sooo hard! I had a first name in my heart for our daughter before I even knew I was pregnant but convincing my husband to like that name as well was tough. However picking her middle name I was completely blank on. I went into labor with two choices and ultimately decided on one after baby was born but to this day I still don’t feel called to her middle name in the same way I felt called to her first. Kinda just threw it in there once it was time to fill out the birth certificate

My son and daughter were named before they were born, I knew instantly what they were called. But my youngest was a nightmare, he was even named something completely different up until a week after birth lol Eventually I was like nope it's not his name, it's not right. So we gave him a different name and now I couldn't imagine him being anything else. You still have time yet, don't worry. :)
