I love how apparently at the episode’s taping, a group of college frat guys in the studio audience were chanting “URKEL! URKEL! URKEL!” Show would’ve likely been canceled by the end of the season if Steve hadn’t walked in lol.
hard to believe urkel, an intended one time only character, not only became the main attraction of the show, but saved the show from lasting only 1 or 2 seasons.
Gotta admit. I've never seen this show and only knew about him from meme culture and stuff and I have to say....I was not expecting him to be a literal child.
Family Matters changed the whole game up !! Best show ever made , to actual real life relationships and families. Still cry on the episode where Carl meets the widow of the guy that passed away. That episode is too real. The unfortunate thing is Hollywood. They should have added them in so many more movies and shows. Waldo was the funniest though. They made him dumb but hilarious.

Don't take Comedy TV Shows *too* seriously, they don't all have the utmost amount of continuity or realism, and not all shows would be much of a show if they were too realistic. Family Matters is a bit between Reality and a Cartoon, and Steve's supposed to be that annoying yet endearing neighbor who (though he's clumsy and causes property damage) actually doesn't mean harm.
Back when it was normal to hang out with your neighbors. No smartphones, no social media, boys were crazy about girls, people fell in love. Such wonderful times ❤
While I can not stand the other characters Jaleel White portrayed on this show, Steve Urkel is one of the best TV characters EVER. Even my grandmother who liked nothing LOVED Urkel. Everyone I knew loved the character. God bless the uploader who made this compilation. You are doing AWESOME WORK!

The only discs that have the HD episodes are season 5-9. I was only able to get the HD remasters of season 4 on iTunes. I really want it on physical media! The quality on the s4 DVD released in 2014 is not very clean. And one of the episodes is syndicated. 🤦♂️
