      Thank you for leaving a comment and I am really glad you found it useful. If you're getting ready to tram I wish you success and patience. I found I made it more intimidating than it actually was. I put it off way longer than I shoul have.

      I’ve trammed a few times but not to this degree, as luck would have it the back of my spoilboard is a bit low for some reason… needs resurfacing, so no time like the present to tram as well!

    I'm glad I found someone with the Laguna IQ. I should check the tram. It seems to be ok. Also, I have fastened a 3/4" MDF spoil board. That way I'm not wrecking the original board. I know you lose 3/4" of usable Z height, but in 8 years, I have never carved anything thicker that 1.5". I also could raise the spindle if I needed to. Just a quick question, how often do you change the water for cooling the spindle?

      @RobSandstromDesigns  6 месяцев назад

      I was previously told to change it every 4-6 months. But, I admit that I don't change it that often. I have a story about the water flow and spindle cooling I could share - but I wouldn't do so in an open forum. I try to be vey careful with anything negative i have to say about products or people. I don't mind giving praise when it is deserved, but I try to be more private with my criticism. If you want to reach out via email or via Zoom chat, I would be glad to talk everything i know about the IQ. I have had it since 2019. It has been a real beast, but there are some things I have found to be aware of. One of those would be to change your water as frequently as you can tolerate. The manual I have states the following should be done weekly: "Swap water lines at pump using the quick connector. (Take free line into bucket, and put into pump, take line from pump and put as free line into bucket) This will help remove build up from the lines and spindle by reversing the flow of the water."

    Do you happen to have the gauge holder .stl file BUT with a 1/4" shank and NOT the 1/2"?

      Wayne...Sorry my earlier reply was not correct. I was reading on an iphone and thought you were asking for the STL from my most recent video about an Easter Tomb Scene. So sorry. Let me talk with my Website administer and I will get the STL posted on the website as a free file. Can you give me a day? Or, you can send me an email and ask for the calibration holder STL and I will email it directly to you. My email is RobSandstromDesign@gmail.com
